Would you Share your Cookie?

I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it! Mo.. you rock! I think every image that comes out is my favorite, and then here she comes with a new one and I fall in love! I think he is just too cute for words!Colored with my copics of course :0)

I then used a piece of Core'dinations Vintage Card stock for the base and the mats. The yellow and pattern paper is a double sided sheet - I think it might be My Minds Eye.. but I can't find the sheet in my boxes of stuff... oh my this place is a mess with all my stuff all over the house.. one more week.. one more week.. then hopefully I will be able to move into my craft room! :0)

I sewed down the one pattern and used a ribbon to tie around the center - The word Friends is cut with my MM Slice.

And don't forget that MO's Digital Pencil Challenge is up and running! Visit it HERE

Sorry so short today... Sunday breakfast with the locals at the little cafe... gotta run! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Donkey - Libbie - Gato Day!!

Well I got LOTS of photos this week! Sun was shining and everyone was in a happy playful mood! So no time wasted chatting...

Carlos - A handsome little guy - notice I don't say baby any more! They are all getting so grown up and big! He is just a angel...

Well most of them.. heck some of the time... well he is cute anyway!

Felicia... she is so adorable - I mean look at those bangs - I have no worries about this little one getting cold this winter... she has LONG fur!! Cute!
And you know I had to show "MY" baby.. Sergio - I don't show favoritism but.. my little guy is a real love... he has a wild side and plays really hard with his brother, but he also has a calm sweet side and love to get hugs.

Mirta... oh she is a cutie too - can't believe she will old enough to wean really soon!! And she is still so little. And very adorable!

With all of the baby photos ... oops "youth" photos, I bet you think I have forgotten about all of the other donkeys.. but no.. they get their lovin's too! Angelina.. "Lina" she is JUST like her Mom Macey (also Felicia's Mom) She is short.. and wide (big boned) had gorgeous eyes and is calm and sweet.
And a Rosie update... she has had a really rough summer. Really rough. I don't talk about her much.. I guess it I haven't wanted to talk about her, cuz I didn't want keep saying how sick she was. But last month she really got very scary skinny.. again. But she gets her special fattening food twice a day in a special private pen, then goes back to into the youth pen. It seems to be working and she is putting on weight, still way to skinny but.. she is gaining. This photo really doesn't show how skinny... her winter fur is really growing in... heck they are all getting really long full hair. I think it is going to be a cold winter!

Libbie... my little baby... what can I say - spoiled, waste my time getting hugged, held and loved on, adorable... and totally loved!
And it has been forever since you have seen Gato... all grown up - a pretty kitty... and again spoiled she runs the house - :0) And along with Libbie - they tear up the house!

Hope you enjoyed Saturday... And again thanks for letting me share them one day a week ;0)

Just Magnolias has gone Bright and Zingy!

Yep... you may need your shades this week at Just Magnolias!! We have all gone out of our comfort zones and gone with really bright and zingy colors! I think I went a bit too far - I think my card looks a little like some sort of 60's flash back in neon... but it is Bright and Zingy!

For my base I used a Bazzil Bling green card stock, then pulled out some K&Company pattern papers.. brightest I could find. For a band across the middle I used scraps of card stock my EK Success zig zag border punch and hot pink satin ribbon.

Tilda is colored with my Copics - except for her dress which I paper pieced so she would match the card - :0) I cut her with my Oval Nesties and created a scalloped mat with Nesties as well. I also did some doodling with a white gel pen and black fine marker.

And then in my stash I found these giant buttons - in the perfect colors - I figured I had not used them in years.. they never match anything - until today - so they just had to be used!

Now keep your shades on, and pop on over to the Just Magnolia's Challenge and see just how fun the rest of the DT's cards are!

Still working on the craft room... :0) But I did get some really GREAT news this week that I have been very excited about. I have been accepted into a Copic Certification class in December!!! Can't wait!

Well have a wonderful Friday! Tomorrow is Saturday Donkey/Libbie Day!

It is Thursday and that is the MO's Digital Pencil Day!!

I have been just so excited about being a part of the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog - I am addicted to Mo's images! They so fun! And today you can get double fun if you love Mo's stuff! One is the challenge team challenge HERE or you join Mo's Design Team or as she refers to them as the "The Dream Team", they are having a monthly HOP with their Favorite Image and Favorite Color combination. The Blog Hop will start with Lori Boyd http://byloridesigns.blogspot. com/ Wow this is really a MO DAY! But first ... how about my card for the challenge. The challenge this week is Fall Colors with only limited (2) embellishments. I went with Halloween - as I really was excited about using this adorable kitty on the pumpkins! This is BAT CAT -

Cute huh? I have colored with my Copics -

and then used shimmerz on the mask, I hope you can see how much it sparkles... I tried to get a close up as photos really do not show it well.

Now because I made the mask purple, the card base just had to be purple, then I layered orange and black card stock as a mat for the gorgeous Basic Grey pattern paper - love the fall colors in it. I sewed them all together with random stitching with orange thread. I matted the image with purple and black and sewed it together.

For my 2 embellishments I used a felt row of pumpkins I got at the scrap booking show last month, and then purple little rhinestones... now I have to say here... after I finished this card and uploaded to the challenge site I thought.. hmmm wonder if the 6 little stones count as one embellishment... or 6??? If it is 6 I blew it bad.. hope not and I don't get my hand slapped as cheating! :0) I then used my Making Memories Slice and cut the word BOO!

Now please visit the challenge site and see all the wonderful Fall cards/projects with Mo's images and don't forget the "Dream Teams" HOP!!

Just a quick update on the Craft room - We are doing the trim work! This is really starting to look like a real room! :0) I am dying and driving Hubby nuts wanting to move in! Flooring and painting still has to be done before he will allow it...

HUGS and see you tomorrow for Just Magnolia's Day!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - with MO!

I am here! and hooked up! Well temporary but here.. Having my computer all set up on a folding table.... very scary! But Hubby says it is for a short time.. oh I so hope so cuz every time I print something - the entire table shakes and freaks me out!

Ok now onto business - today is A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge day, and today is a wonderful sketch by DT Caryn, and the sponsor is MO from Mo's Digital Pencil - she even supplied us with a image to use on our cards! Cool huh?

I picked Duck Day.. I don't know if it was the ducks or that adorable rain coat and boots! :0) I colored with my Copics.

I then followed the sketch and found papers in my scraps - now I must tell you this week is going to be a whole another challenge for me... a limited supplies challenge! OH my if you could only see my crafting area... I do hope Hubby is right and this is all going to be over soon! My stuff is stacked all over the house! He just thought I took up a lot of our bedroom with my craft corner.. cuz now I am everywhere!! LOL

To finish off my card instead of bows on the band across the middle I used two of my MIL's crocheted flowers -with button centers.

There are lots of wonderful cards at Spoon Full of Sugar this week.. and the prize is a gift certificate for MO's Digital Pencil :0).

Thanks for hanging in this week... with all of the working on addition, things are really up in the air. And my craft time is just not there, but hey... all of this work will be a craft room that I can work in so it is worth it! This weekend we got tons done.. we are hoping over the next week or so to get the trim installed -paint - put the flooring in - and then just finishing touches and I am moving in! That is the plan at least :0)

Hope you are having a great week -

Soggy Donkeys?

Hello - ok, I couldn't resist showing the babies just after the rain storm. Now before I hear you yell... "Don't they a have barn?"... Yes they do. But for some reason during that huge storm this week the Momma's kept the babies out in it. And when I say HUGE I mean huge. We have 12-14 inches in 12 hours! And lightning! WOW.. we actually saw them hitting the ground around us! Scary! Anyway as soon as it was safe to go out we had to go out and feed Sergio, so I grabbed my camera to show you Soggy Donkeys...

This is Sergio and Felicia, under one of the small trees... and yes - we even have to look real close when they are this wet to make sure who is who! The Grey duns.. look black.. the brown ones look black.. and the spotted ones.. just look muddy!
Carlos and Sergio realized that the storm had knocked a lot of the leaves off the tree... mmmm leaves!

Here is "Dad" loving on Felicia.. yep that is fluffy, poofy little Felicia! Even wet they think they are going to get Donkey Hugs... but they get lovin's from arms lengths when they are this wet!

And poor Libbie.. no playing outside this week.. way to muddy - heck as low to the ground as she is she would have had to swim across the yard as deep as it has been. :0)

Just a little FYI... if I go missing for a day here or there.. we have knocked the hole in the wall to craft room... and in doing so my Internet has to be moved... as I type the line is stretched across a doorway. Not safe with Gato and Libbie wars!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend... me... I will be helping Hubby all weekend with the room addition we are at a 110% now.. got to get things going and done now that it is opened to the rest of the house.

Friday's Just Magnolias!

Hello and Happy Friday! Wow this week went really fast! It is already Friday again and that is Just Magnolia's day! This week we have a wonderful sketch by DT member Mina!

I decided Edwin needed to come out and play.. and dug really deep into my Magnolias to find him fishing on the pier. I colored him with my Copics and then cut him out with my Nesties.

I followed the sketch using pattern papers from My Minds Eye - and then used red and cream gingham ribbon for all of the bands. I have really been using a lot of gingham lately :0) - Do you do that where you get on a kick for something and use it over and over then it goes away? Oh well.. love the ribbon!

For the "dots" on the bottom of the sketch I used fish charms! They are sewed thru the card with twine.I figured as long as Edwin was fishing he might as well have them lining up to be caught. All thought Hubby said they must already be dead floating up right like that! Men... LOL For the dots at the top I found three red buttons that actually matched.. that is a biggie in my button jar!

I kept it kind of simple cuz I figured this would be a good "man" card... so no foo foo items on it.

Hope you will pop over to the Just Magnolia's site and see the rest of the DT cards! Really amazing as always! and another great prize :0)

Gotta run... we are thinking we might have to close up the side of the addition and knock the hole thru into the house sooner than planned as the humidity is so high it will start to mess with the sheet rock... sigh... man Libbie is gonna be a nightmare keeping her out of there! My little dare devil gets into everything and tries to eat anything she finds... I need an alarm to go off when ever she gets to this end of the house! And man.. I can only imagine what the house is going to look like later today if he does hammer thru!!! AHHH

HUGS and have a great Friday!
