I was so sad when Willow with Cookies was sold out during the first sale of the "new" Whiff of Joy stamps. This was my favorite... as it must have been everyone else's too as it was sold out ;0)
Well I got it as soon as it was available again, and I just love it! Ok Willow is just gorgeous, we all love her, but I think the warm cookies just puts me over the edge! MMMMM warm cookies!
Today's Challenge at the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog is Burgundy (red) and Green! Well perfect for all the yummy Christmas papers.

Willow is stamped out and colored with My Copics and white gel pen. Then I chose two pieces of American Crafts Christmas paper, used the back sides of the papers for their mats and inked the edges and blanket stitched around them both with dark red thread. I then inked the edges of Willow and the sentiment (which is from Stampapbilities) and the sewed a straight stitch. I ran a piece of American Crafts ribbon across the bottom, then added two white metal corners... sorry I don't know who made them as they were in a drawer in my stash. I am happy with this one! Makes me want to go and pull out my Christmas Cookie recipes and start baking!
Today is a rare day for me... Hubby is fishing, house isn't a total disaster, a little bit of laundry but I can put it off a day, and no where that I have to go today... I think I am going to catch up on some DT work, prepare a few samples for some classes in November, and just get inky!!! I haven't had a day like this in forever! I do think I need to clean my space a bit too, but I will do that in between projects.
So I am going to go get a Coke and some breakfast, spend a little bit of time surfing the net... then "get to work" he he ! Oh and don't forget the Candy in yesterday's post!!!
Hope you have a great day planned too!
