A Spoon Full of Sugar - Christmas time!

Tuesday's Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge day and today we are working towards Christmas! And there are so many new fun, beautiful Christmas images out there you know this is a great chance to get some Christmas cards or projects done with new stamps!!

For me... I have become addicted with making these little ornaments. I showed one last week, this is my second one. Yes I went back to the Hobby store and picked up more of these blank paper ornaments. Ok so they were no longer 40% off.. but hey they are only .99 cents so they are still very affordable!

I started with another of the new Stampavie Sarah Kay images, this is Noel Peace, is it gorgeous or what? I colored with my Copics, then tore around the edge of the image and then inked to age. I then covered the ornament with Making Memories papers - lined and music pattens. I tore the edges and glued that down all around the edge of the ornament. Then sanded and inked for aging again. Glued down the image... then added a piece of vintage looking lace, and three small pearl embellishments. Tied a bow with a sheer ribbon at the top and done. These really do come together quickly - and I am just loving making them - that is a warning... you are going to see lots of them over the next few weeks... I can't wait to see a whole tree full of these! And I think they will make great Christmas gifts!

Now please pop on over to A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge and see all the gorgeous Christmas projects! and again we have a great Sponsor this week! Summer owner of Belle's 'n Whistles has some really cute stamps for you to have a chance at!

I am so excited.. Hubby is taking today off and we are going to put the ceiling up in the "addition" my future craft room! Will be lots of labor today.. and I am sure yelling...LOL but after this is the walls... then the floor... and oh my it is really becoming a real room! No longer a dream! Better eat my Wheaties though - I am the "holder" while he puts the boards up!

HUGS and have a wonderful Tuesday!
