It's Friday again! And that is time for Just Magnolias and Hanglars challenge. This week sure went by fast didn't it? This week at the challenge is a great sketch by fellow DT member
Jacque.
With the added request to add flowers - either on your paper, or embellishments.

I pulled out one of my older Hanglar stamps - I just adore this little girl - is it the hat or the spotted bloomers? LOL I colored with my Copics and the shaded with my pencils. Then I pulled out some Rubber Tapestry Stump Stamps and stamped out some grass, flowers and leaves as if she was under a tree. Been forever since I have pulled out my stumps and used them - Love the added look they give.

My card - I used one piece of pattern paper from the K&Company Paper stack by Susan Winget. Wonderful papers - all in purples, greens and blues. These flowers reminded me of the stamp I used in the grass. And then that lead me to my flowers I chose. These are from the floral department at Hobby Lobby, really pretty paper and foam flowers on wire stems. I cut a few and tied them together with twine. The rest of my card I went with ribbons from Papertrey Ink and then the Jumbo Martha Stewart trellis punch. Which I punched on both sides so it could be used as a band. Yes... it took me a couple of tries to get it all lined up correctly and not punch through it. LOL
The sentiment is from Melody Ross -
Purple and Green is one of my most favorite color combos - This paper will be all used up from this collection I am sure! So now you need to pop over to the
Just Magnolias and Hanglars Challenge and see all the flowers from the DT with the great sketch.
Off to catch up on a few things from the week - Hubby was home a few days, so I have gotten behind on my things I normally do during the week. We are building a new barn. HA... he would love the "We" - but I have been out there helping. The sunburn is proof of that. I'll snap photos of it as we get it going - so you can see the entire process in the works.
Have a great Friday - HUGS and-
