Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Puppy Love and Paw Prints

Howdy -

Is there anything better than a puppy? Ok a baby goat or donkey is up there too. But this new image from Whimsy Stamps is just so adorable to play with and along with the brand new background stamp it all just works so well together!

This is Whimsy Stamps "Puppy Love" by Kirsten Winkelbauer. And the Background stamp "Puppy Paws" by Deb Davis

Cute right? I colored with my Copics and then found red and black card stock for my base and mats. A white card stock to stamp my background stamp simply with black ink to match up to the black card stock.

I then pulled out the Whimsy Clear stamp set "Unconditional Love" - fabulous set for those with pets!

Whimsy Stamps - Peace Love Joy

Howdy -

We are really close to Christmas. Where did time go? I procrastinated my shopping this year and Hubby and I just got out yesterday to do most all our shopping… yea not smart. But we have just been so busy, next year I really hope to plan much better cuz by the time we got home we were both so wiped out and stressed! Whew!

I needed some fast and pretty note cards… so I came up with a card with one of the Whimsy Stamps Clear sets "Peace Love Joy" by Deb Davis

I stamped out the dove with Mementos White Ink on Dark Brown card stock. Then placed it on a cream card stock base. The branches I stamped in each corner in green, and dotted those berries in red. Then the sentiment in Black ink. Three Viva Decor Paint dots in each corner of the dove card stock and done. I needed to make quite a few so this was a great card to do in an assembly line. And I like how it turned out.

Such a great set if stamps for so many different cards and Iove sets that come with so many sentiments as well!

Ok… now to figure out my grocery list and just how many cookies I am going to make this weekend…. what do we want? and what do we really need to eat?? LOL

Whimsy Stamps - Peace Love Joy

Howdy -

Whimsy Stamps has a lovely new stamp set called "Peace, Love, Joy" by Deb Davis. Perfect set for holiday cards as well as wedding cards. I wanted to give a Clean and Simple Card a try. They are so hard for me. Such a beautiful set to work with and I had an idea.

Not sure if I pulled it off or not, but I love the grey and white combo. I stamped out the dove, and added the branch. There are so many sentiments with this set and they all work with each other, this was perfect for a wedding card. I added Viva Decor Pearl Pen do the dove, really does shine in person. Then a few grey enamel dots for the corners. I wanted so bad to add more... maybe some doodling around the edges... but I forced myself to stop and stick with the original plan of clean and simple. Does anyone else get the shakes doing this? LOL I do like it just felt so so so unlike me!

Whimsy Stamps - Caution Wagging Tail

Howdy -

This new image from Whimsy Stamps just makes me smile. It is too adorable and has so much fun built into the set! This is the new clear set from Whimsy and artist Deb Davis called "Caution Wagging Tail"

This set has so much with it! Look at all the goodies!

For my card I went more simple than normal. White card stock base, light blue card stock for the background and then three layers of green punched with my Martha Stewart Grass Punch. Then I used the Caution Wagging Tail Die Set and the stamps (click the photo of the stamps above to get there) I stamped the dog, his tail wagging, the bowl and the extra bone and added them to the card. Then I used the stamp "Happiness is a wagging tail" from the set. Love this set! Three enamel dots in the corner just cuz I had to add something more. LOL

Then for the inside simple.. but with the paw prints from the set.

Not too many Copic colors used -

Whimsy Stamps - Heartfelt Sympathy

Howdy -

This week I needed a Sympathy card for some very sweet friends. And I realized that the new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps "Paws to Remember"

Now this set is wonderful for those with pets that have crossed over the rainbow bridge, but it is also a wonderful set for some simply beautiful sympathetic card. I used the tree, and colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added some shading with my pencils. I inked the edges with Rangers Distress ink and layered with some papers from Paper Studios. I also added a the Whimsy Stamps die "Doodled Doily" die.  I inked the edges of this as well. All the layers are sewn together. Then for the sentiment I used the Whimsy Stamps Word die set "Heartfelt Sympathy"  Then a few dots of Viva Decor Cream Pearl Pen.

Inside more of the same papers -

Copic colors used -

This is a beautiful set and I think I will be using it more in the future it is such a pretty set.
