Tilda and Friends ATC -

I am soooo honored to have been asked to be this weeks Guest Designers at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge Blog. I love this site. I had never done an ATC when I found the this challenge and now I love making these "little pieces of art".

They asked me to choose the subject of the theme this week. I thought long and hard about what to pick. And then I thought... well I have to include a donkey somehow... so how about Our Animal Friends? Well they agreed and so that is what the challenge is, to join in the fun with us you just need to make an ATC with at least one Magnolia stamp on it and your animal friend.

My ATC is suppose to be a window - well that was the plan anyway. I created the background scene with a donkey stamp that I love, then some Magnolia Clouds and a pop dotted Magnolia bird. I then placed a piece of Transparency film over the top of it to have an appearance of the window glass. I stamped a window frame, that just happens to be the exact size of the ATX and cut out the center. And then the adorable Magnolia Cat was placed on top of the frame. I guess I should mention that everything was colored with Copic Markers and White Gel pen. The window just felt as if it needed more at that point. So I added a curtain rod with yellow cording and then created gathered curtains with a wide wired ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed my little window view - it did make me happy to include a donkey in mine this week. Make sure to go over and see all of the DT work at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge, they really outdid even themselves this week!

My second card today is for Alota Rubber Stamps. I purchased these bugs for one reason. My mother, she has been a beautician since before I was born.... we really don't want to tell how long that is for my sake and hers =). I love this image! And decided to follow this weeks Fridays Sketchers challenge sketch.

I colored it in with Copic markers and white gel pen. And then cut the image with my Nestibilities circle and then cut out out the image with my Fiskar's finger tip craft knife. Then a second circle the same size was cut out of a piece of Heidi Grace pattern paper to be the background wall paper of the beauty shop. A scalloped circle is cut out of green Bazzil card stock. I doodled around the circle and scallops. My base is also Bazzil, and the vertical stripe is a piece of Heidi Grace's shimmering pattern paper, love this stuff it is so pretty. The sentiment is computer generated and just seem to fit the image. I doodled around it, and then stitched down the edges of everything with white gel pen. I think it is pretty funny - what do you think?

Today I am hoping to catch up on some blog hopping, and get some work done around the house. I hope to also get some fun stuff done - hope you do too!
