High Hopes Stamps - Sparkle & Cheer

Howdy -

Oh my Christmas is coming soon!! Time to get those Christmas Cards done and all our gifts wrapped. I like to make my own tags for my presents. With so many wonderful little images and sentiments they can be made pretty quickly and they add so much to a wrapped gift.

The new Sentiment "Sparkle & Cheer" is perfect!

I stamped the sentiment, the doodled around the edge. Then decided it needed more color to it and used my Copics to color! Dark red card stock, scraps of Graphic 45 papers and then a couple of Whimsy Snowflake dies with red Ranger Stickles centers. Was fast and really does make things special for your To and From Tag.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day - and pop back tomorrow for the High Hopes December Release! And also the Whimsy Stamps Digital Release!

Animal Crackers - Feeding Frenzy

Howdy -

First before I get on with today's Animal Crackers post... I am thrilled to report that Jolene has been given a clean bill of health! Building her weight back up but she is doing wonderful, and is back with all her girlfriends and doing really wonderful.

Now Feeding Frenzy could be describing my Thanksgiving day meal... it is more than likely an accurate description, but this is a description for our goat feeding yesterday evening. LOL

Hubby took life into his own hands and went in to feed the goats... It is always a riot to watch. You would think these goats are starving... but those bellies give that away as untrue.

They were very happy they do love their special dinners.

Look at that smile from Sweet Pea... ok the smile was before she knew she was getting feed.

Love when they do that grin.

Then there is just a simple grin... Belle has a great smile don't you think?

She really looks like she needs braces... LOL Still cute.

And another great smile. Jorge has a great smile. Those teeth are just perfect! Years of me wearing braces and mine aren't that straight! ha!

Hubby found a large ball... thought the boys might like to "play ball". It was pretty funny they were chasing it around the ball.. biting at it, kicking it and running after it. Then about 10 minutes later they were all bored.

Love this shot of Sandy... she was chilin' on the roof of one of the huts.

Not sure what the hay sticking out of the side of her face... maybe she was saving it for later?
She is a pretty thing even if she is wearing a little snack.

How about a little peek a boo?

Valentine was hiding from me and the camera. Handsome even through the branches. Now when he thought I was carrying a carrot he came out from hiding - my boy. :0)

Hope my fur babies gave you a smile this week.

High Hopes Stamps - Loads of Love

Howdy -

This Fall Winter Release at High Hopes has been a wonderful one, so many great images to choose from. But I have to say "The Old Pick Up Truck" is my all time favorite!

I totally love this Truck! Colored with my copics (colors below) Then I layered the image up with the Presents images in the back of the Truck. Then I matched the image with some of my favorite papers from Graphic 45. Love the traditional feel of these papers. I sewed the layers down with multiple zig zag stitching. Then the wonderful sentiment "Sending you Loads of Wishes"

The buttons for a little additional embellishment.

For the inside of the card more of the same papers.

Thanks so much for looking! And Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Animal Crackers - Yo Yo Cat

Howdy -

Gato lives to find the cushiest and newest warm places to take one of her long cat naps. Usually it is the warm laundry, a jacket just removed, or the rug in front of the refrigerator. But this week... She decided that my new Yo -You quilt I purchased from an estate sale last week was all meant for her.

She is not going to be a happy camper when I move her to pack it up for our show this weekend. But I left her for as long as I could... She did looks really comfortable.

Speaking of comfortable.... I guess this would be what you call breakfast in bed....

Chloe seemed to really be comfortable right? Now I would say a hay bed is a nice soft bed, but I think this is mostly a tactical factor here... if you lay across the fresh hay... it leaves a large chunk of it protected for just you to eat!! LOL

Found Chachi wouldn't come to see me. We had that rain a couple of weeks ago, and with the warm week we just had we have lots of new growth.

Chachi was really enjoying all the green... Handsome man!

And Handsome is Doc as well....

Such a pretty face... oops handsome. Those eyes just melt me.

The boys have been in a temporary pen for a week or so,  They are such good boys, and have been getting along so well in their pen together. They are going to love the new pasture when "Dad" has it finished.

 '
Can't talk about and show off Miguel without showing off his BFF Rico.

These two guys have been buddies for years and always have been pen-mates. Now they are newly bonding with the other guys in the pen. I have been so thrilled that they are all getting along so well.

One last photo... my girl Moxie -

Love this girl so much! She just makes me so happy, that grin just warms my heart and makes me grin as well. That is what loving a furry friend is all about right?

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend!

Cute little mice aren't they? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then found some beautiful papers from Whimsy Stamps Paper Pads... You have gone and see their papers right? Wonderful patterns! This is from the "Winter Wishes 6x6 Paper Pad" And if you hurry.... it is one sale right now! Who doesn't love a sale? All the layers are sewn down, and then I found my die from Whimsy Stamps new Shapeology collection "Geometric Snowflakes" LOVE these.. I used them apart and scattered them across the card, love that. Then I used the Whimsy Winter Wishes Enamel Dots. The sentiment seemed so perfect, it is from the set
Snowman and Friends. Great set with lots of wonderful sentiments.

Whimsy Stamps - November Release! - Love Me Anyway

Howdy -

Time for the Whimsy Stamps November Release! Wonderful new images and my favorite is an adorable little pouting kitty...

Crissy Armstrong's new "Love Me Anyway" cat -

This is one sorry little kitty don't you think? Just love those big eyes. I colored it twice, and then cut out one and pop dotted it over the other. Gives a great shadow. I used a kraft card stock base, with papers from Basic Grey's Lucille papers, I inked the edges with black to highlight the edges more. I sewed all the layers down, then added a bead flourish along with the word "Sorry". Love the font, they are one of Whimsy Stamps die sets! Brush Script Lowercase Alphabet set.  Then I added three dots of Viva Decor Charcoal Paint Pen.

Inside more of the same papers.

Animal Crackers - Girls Lovin' their new pen

Howdy

This week we moved the girls into their new pen. A BIG pen. Really not a pen... more like the back half of our property. They are loving it. It is wonderful that all our donkeys are back on our property now. Was nice to have the extra grass for them on the neighbors property, but now they are all back home. Not that next door was so far away.

The girls were all anxious for "Dad" to open up that fence and explore their new land. But once it was open it was like the doors at a white sale. If you are in the way you just might get trampled! LOL

They went in all directions and were unsure where and what to eat first.

Really did confuse Juliet. The only standard donkey in the group, she thinks she is one in charge of everyone, it is really hard to go every direction at once to oversee all her girls!

The brush to wander in was new and pretty cool!

It is going to take Dad some time to get it all in the shape he is wanting in this part of our property, but he will. And the girls are really happy now and will love it even more later.

All but Miss Jolene. She has been under the weather. Vet says kidneys... not good. Prayers please....

I didn't want to snap any photos of her right now. She is really sad and not feeling well. I pulled up a few of favorite from the past....

Love this girl so much, and she has such a sweet personality... Praying she will beat this... with all of your prayers she has even a better chance.

Having so many kids can really cause worry sometimes. But we love them each so much - they are our family for sure! Donkeys - Goats - Chickens - Dogs and Cats!

HUGS and have a very blessed weekend-

Whimsy Stamps - Candle Light

Howdy -

This week for Whimsy Stamps I had fun with one of Sylvia Zet's adorable new Winter images. "Candle Light"

I just love this image. So precious. I colored with my Copic (colors below) then found scrap papers from my stash. I roughed up the edges of all the pieces and inked them with Rangers's Distress Ink. Sewed the pattern papers together and layered with burlap. The leaves are Martha Stewart large frond leaves from coredi'nations card stock that I sanded. I added some dots of red stickles for berries. Very hard to see that one! The sentiment is also a favorite. From Whimsy's Digital Sentiments, "Christmas Time Digital Sentiments" Love how many great holiday sentiments you get in this set!!

Here are the Copic colors used -

Adore this image. Such a warm country Winter image if that makes any sense at all...

Hope you like it - make sure to visit the Whimsy Store and see all the wonderful images new and old!

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day ... saying a few prayers here... having the Vet out this morning to check on Jolene as she isn't herself and acting a bit down. Hope it is just something simple he can find and fix.

See you tomorrow for Animal Crackers - HUGS and

High Hopes Stamps - Charlie's Moo-ry Christmas

Howdy -

Who doesn't Love Charlie? A Cow ready to celebrate the Christmas Season?

Charlie's Moo-ry Christmas

I colored Charlie with my Copics (colors below) and then added Ranger's Stickles to his ho ho hat.
And of course I had to match up Charlie with the perfect sentiment from High Hopes "Moo-rry Christmas" I used Whimsy Stamps Christmas Papers with White and Black cardstock. Not a traditional color combo, but worked well with Charlie right? I added a Whimsy Snowflake die cut that I added more stickles on top of. Love added bling sparkle to a Christmas card.

Inside same papers
