Animal Crackers - Looking Back 2018

Howdy -

On the last Saturday of the year I always look back at a few of my favorite photos of the year.  It is always hard to pick just a few of my fur children to show off again, but sometimes a photo just is special :0)

Babies are always a highlight!

Domino was born in May and has more personality than he knows what to do with...

Then we were blessed two weeks later with Waylon and Willie... twins that follow Domino around like little shadows and all though Willie is a bit more shy than Waylon or Domino they are all three super special little boys!

Now another thing that just had to be shown off as a highlight

Alvin... Oh my we love Alvin!

This guy has made himself at home here on the farm and in our hearts! He is such a warm friendly dude and we can't wait to see what kind of little babies we get from him and a few of our girls this Spring! Hoping for some of his color and LOTS of his personality!

Now Black Jack has been such a special man for so many years here ... and he LOVE to have his photo taken.

He is getting a little grey with age, but with age comes wisdom and sweetness!

For a smile EVERY TIME... you call up Lacey and Patti.

Those faces are just beautiful and those eyes just crack me up they are so full of humor and personality!

And speaking of personality... I LOVE this girl. Moxie!

She was so proud of herself and enjoying her view of the world from the top of this hay bale! Being the Momma I was worried about her getting down safely... but like lightning she was down and running a million miles an hour then back up again. LOL

Love this group shot of the girls... One second they were all focused on me...

The next they were all totally focused on "Dad" coming with a load of hay. That was so much more important than me!

This face just says it all...

Love this boy and his big brown eyes.. he just melts me. My special boy -

And then this girl she has her Daddys same eyes but she does her special look with more of a grin.

My Libbie... she since being blind is slower and more cautious but don't let that fool you...

She is still 110% in charge of everyone and everything!

It has been a wonderful and blessed year here at Animal Crackers... praying that 2019 brings lots of smiles to you all year long!

Have a blessed weekend and new year!

Animal Crackers - Merry Christmas

Howdy -

A few photos to share from the last few days - and a bit of Merry Christmas from all of us...

Jackie seems to be talking a bit from the side of her face, but she would only want to send good wishes and Merry Christmas to everyone.

Such a pretty lady... a bit of a loud sad girl this last week as she has not been happy with us that we moved her sister Lizzie to her Alvin's pen. But she is finally calmed down a little bit and accepted that her sister has moved next door for a time.

I got a great shot of Chloe... my gorgeous girl.

So pretty... and those stunning blue eyes. As she has gotten so much calmer and friendlier over time.

Fancy Pants is a gorgeous girl....

Shame we never were able to get any babies from her. But she has been a wonderful part of our family.

Love this shot of Raffie... He just screams personality right?

Love this man so much. Funny Handsome and a very well known "Smiling Donkey" LOL Ha!

Every year I share the image from our family Christmas Card from us to you -

From all of us - we do wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!
Have a blessed Holiday -

HighHopesStamps - Penguin Tag

Howdy -

I love making tags with High Hopes Stamps but today I decided I made a card with one. Love this little Penguin behind his sign. This is  "Penguin Tag" with the new "Merry Christmas" sentiment.

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then found a piece of Paper Studio Christmas collection with some red card stock and a Spellbinders die cut out of white card stock. I sewed the layers down with a zig zag stitch and straight stitch. The sentiment Merry Christmas for the sign. Then that red hat needed a glitter bling for some sparkle.

Copic colors used -

Less than a week away from Christmas! Loving these great images...Perfect for your Christmas tags or cards.

Have a wonderfully blessed day -

Animal Crackers - Beautiful Faces

Howdy -

That Beautiful Face -

The weather late this week was sunny... and VERY breezy and got cold. I went out yesterday afternoon and all though it was sunny and gorgeous. It was cold. But I got a few really beautiful faces. Chica is such a sweetheart. And those eyes warm your heart. Right?

And then I called out to Autie... and then that face warmed me too...

Seriously aren't they just too cute for words. Nothing more gorgeous than my Autie boy with his freshly bathed fur blowing in the breeze... Love... sigh.

Speaking of Love... uh... not so much in Alvin's pen. This week there has been a lot of "talking" or "yelling" going on. The girls have had a few escape plans and none that worked out. But things are calming down. Well a little bit.

The girls have now told Alvin that they are in control and as often as they can then take ownership of his hut. He steals it back now and then, but sharing and living together in the hut hasn't quite happened yet.... But they are starting to learn to live together.

All though while I was out there... Alvin was at the fence calling out to the other girls...

"rolling eyes here"... always wanting what they can't have. I give him three girls and he wants the others.... but soon these girls will be in the right season for him and he will have more interest in the girls he has... men... sigh. LOL

Funny photo... I found the Guinea with her wings out in the wind... must have felt like flying?

With the safety of never leaving the ground sounds good to me. LOL Really it was really windy!

And how beautiful does Victoria look? All in her puffy fur from the cold air.

She is so beautiful. Most of the girls were not interested in leaving their hay bale, but I got a couple to come for some lovin'. They are so fuzzy and soft right now. Beautiful - Faces and all!

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend -

Animal Crackers - A Happy Face

Howdy -

Its been a big week around here... Alvin got "pen mates". And he has been a really happy boy! I mean jump for joy excited about things happy!

That is the look of one happy boy!

And he made sure that everyone all around saw that big smile!!

We really love that face! And he is very happy that he has some new girl friends to play with...

Lizzie - Alice and Mary have come to visit Alvins new pen. And next spring...we should hope to have lots of happy healthy bouncing babies! And with all this color and all those blue eyes they should be stunning!

Leon was announcing it at the top of his lungs!!! Babies next spring?!!!

Then again Leon announces everything at the top of his lungs... everything!

Was a rainy wet day yesterday and we have LOTS of rain in the forecast... Didn't stop Darlene from standing out in the rain to eat her breakfast...

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to Darlene... once that meal is done then Lunch is most important... then an snack of course... then dinner... then you need a bite to eat before bed time. Problem is this old lady doesn't take breaks often between each of these meals... LOL

Oops started raining again...

Darlene might be able to stand out and chance getting wet... but not the goats. And Paintbrush... she didn't come out even when it had stopped for a minute. It is best to not chance a drop touching her... she would melt she just knows it!

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend planned - indoors or out! Hug a furry or feathered friend! And smile!

High Hopes Stamps - Forest Seasons Greetings

Howdy -

A Little Forest Seasons Greetings  - High Hopes Stamps Woodsy Christmas stamps have been so fun to play with! For today's card I just felt a bit more serious and wanted to play with some snow.

I colored "Forest" with Copics and then added lots of Marvy snow marker. Maybe a bit too much snow.. but I was having fun with it. Paper Studio pattern paper with some black card stock and kraft card stock seemed to work well. I sewed they layers down and added three enamel dots to the corners. And the sentiment Seasons greetings is perfect.

Copics colors used -

Hope you enjoyed my snowy card -
Have a blessed day -

Whimsy Stamps - Snowman and Bird

Howdy-

Back again for the Whimsy Digital Stamps new release and today I am showing off the new "Snowman and Bird" from CC Designs.

I love snowmen on the kraft cardstock! I printed him and then colored with both pencils and Copics. and then it just started snowing! The Marvy snow marker for a mound of snow at the base and then flakes falling through the sky! A scrap piece of pattern paper that I think is My Minds Eye - red card stock and more kraft card stock are all sewed together with a zig zag stitch. A piece of large dotted red ribbon as a band. I love using ribbon... sigh. Then for one last embellishment a Whimsy Stamps Chipboard element! Pretty Snowflakes Chipboard
