High Hopes Stamps - Need for Speed

Howdy -

Today for High Hopes Stamps I needed a "fast" birthday card. And couldn't get much faster than "Need for Speed" Fun image for anyone.

I was planning on going all sleek and shiny - but somehow I think I ended up a little hippie? Not sure but I still think it is a fun card. I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut it out with a small border. I found papers from SEI and then matted with yellow card stock. Every layer is sewn down with either a zig zag or straight stitch. The fast sentiment "Live Life at full Throttle" was a perfect match up for this card. A great Birthday card don't you think? Three brads for embellishments and done.

Today for Whimsy Stamps I have a little "Penguin Birthday" from artist Crissy Armstrong Collection.

Such a fun image! And so perfect for any age birthday card! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added some clear Nuvo on the balloon. I found some papers from Jellibean that were just too perfect for this little penguin! I matted each layer with dark red card stock and sewed them together.

Then a fabulous sentiment... I am in total love with the Whimsy Chipboard Elements sentiments! There are so many to choose from and the look great on the card! I colored with Copics and glued down. simple and Fun!

Animal Crackers - just too much fun

Howdy -

I can't help it.. another week of baby goats. You are going to be seeing lots of photos of baby goats, hope you are ok with that cuz... well they are just too much fun. Not that all my children are boring, but seriously bouncing babies are really too much fun to watch and play with!

My favorite time is early in the morning. Kids are out and playful! Well after you entertain Mom with breakfast otherwise she wants all the attention. LOL Woa.. Thelma that is one big bite of Alfalfa!

There is a huge difference of babies from a friendly Mom and a skittish Mom. For example, Abigail and Penelope, it is work to get Penelope to be friendly especially when someone new is around. Just me she will let me love on her, but anyone else there and she plays the shy timid card like her Mom. But then there is Thelma and her twins. These two come running when you head out. Heads poking out wanting attention... LOVE THAT!

But really love when I can capture some of the morning fun with my camera! I call this one... Flying Chipmunk!

Both boys love to run and jump.. Chipmunk was especially active while I was out the other morning. All fours were actually off the ground. Just make me happy all over to watch healthy happy kids playing!

Junior loves his special attention!

Usually is first to the fence for head scratches. Love he looks so much like his Daddy Alvin. And I adore that part that looks like a mini toupee..

Chipmunk has a bit of sillier personality. And with those ears.. Well he just adorable.

Adorable even when he is too fast and gets nose prints all over my camera lens!

He was just making sure it wasn't some sort of food... can you believe they are just over a week old and already chewing on and trying out grasses and hay. Kids.. they grow up so fast!

Ok.. one non baby goat photo. I snapped this one the other night.

Gato is a lap cat in the evenings. And most of the time she is all Daddy's cat. He sits down and with in a few minutes she is there and getting cozy. But recently... she is all mine. As long as Autie isn't there first... then she gets really pushy and tries to shove him off of me. Now I love that she wants to cuddle up and snooze on me, but then that little paw stretches out... and then the needing starts. I have to make sure that I have plenty of blanket or a pillow when she starts that up - man she has claws. Even with the claws.. totally love this kitty.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend.

High Hopes Stamps - Thanks a Ton!

Howdy -

This week for High Hopes Stamps I pulled out a "little" favorite. This is Baby Elephant Celebrates - a sweet elephant that brings a smile!

I colored with my copics (colors below) and then added Clear Nuvo on the balloon.. and then white Nuvo on his toe nails. Every little elephant needs a really nice Pedi right? I found paper from DCWV Tres Chic collection on a cream colored base. I sewed the layers down with a straight and zig zag stitch. A pink polk a dot ribbon around tied with a bow.  A fun play on words for a sentiment.

Fun card right? Love how cute this image is.

Whimsy Stamps - Baby Giraffe

Howdy -

This is one seriously cute image from Whimsy Stamps and Sylvia Zet - This is Baby Giraffe... cute right?

Totally cute .. I colored with my Copics (colors below) and decided to make most of the focus on the image itself. So I printed my digital image a little larger and had fun coloring. Then I had a bit of doodle feeling going on and instead of sewing on this one I doodled around the edges! A couple of die cut words for sentiment and done! Simple and Simple adorable!

Animal Crackers - THEY ARE HERE!!

Howdy -

YEP.. Thelma decided it was time to release the babies! And let me tell you.. I always have that little nagging worry about first time Mommies, the delivery and accepting babies. But this was amazing! And despite the fact that these twins are boys... We are over the moon with these guys! Totally in Love!

Thelma started showing big signs that it was the big day Wednesday, so I was going out and checking on her every 30 minutes. Hubby got home about 4:30... we checked on her and nope nothing yet and she was eating. We went inside... at 4:55 went back out and there they were... she delivered, cleaned them up, they were both standing and enjoying their first feeding from Mom!! It was amazing!

And let me tell you... Thelma is a fabulous Momma! She is attentive, cleans on them, chatters with them when they get too far. I am so proud of her!

Now our biggest boy... he has Daddy, Alvin's coloring and his parents blue eyes... His tiny brother has darker coloring with black feet and stripe. Hubby named them. He thinks he is pretty funny. They are named Alvin Junior and Chipmunk...  so Junior and Chipmunk it is!

So they came into the world fast, and are doing fabulous. And they are extremely friendly - I love that! When Mommy is calm and not timid... it passes on to the babies. These two are totally chilled when holding them, and runs to you when you enter the pen, well unless it is time for a meal, then you have to wait til they are done.  Jumping and Bouncing all over the pen when they aren't eating or passed out.

So totally adorable... and what new babies photo shoot would be complete with our Daddy Day One Photo...

Now we have started to watch Alice closer as her milk bag is really getting big... hopefully she won't make us wait as long as Thelma when her signs start really showing. LOL

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day - here we are very blessed!

High Hopes Stamps - Lil Fireman

Howdy -

Today for High Hopes Stamps I pulled out a "Lil Fireman" to color for a cute card!  I am not sure which is cuter, the fireman... that sweet little puppy riding with him or that adorable little truck!

Total Cutie right? I colored with my copics (colors below) Now I found some papers from Carta Bella Cowboy Country collection. Put them all together with a zig zag stitch and straight stitch on my sewing machine. The sentiment "Let's Ride" seemed too fun and perfect for this little pair. It is from the Sentiment Set #4 collection. Great group of sentiments! Then three dots of Nuvo black. Love how fun this one turned out!

Copic colors used

Now I hope this one gave you a smile.... now lets think... I think I have someone that would like to get this in the mail... It's on its way he he he!

Animal Crackers - Yes.. he knows he is adorable!

Howdy -

My baby boy Autie was playing hide and seek yesterday... Just being totally adorable!!

Yes... he knows he is totally cute! He got another hair cut this week. This time I went shorter... his fur just grows so fast! He likes it, thinks he is a super model. I say just a cutie pie!

We have had lots of rain this week, which makes lots of weeds and things grow really fast. Great for Hubby's new garden, but the weeds wow... poor Hubby can't get a chance to mow around here cuz once it starts to dry out... here comes more rain. A Good thing for fresh grass to eat, but a little mowing would be nice too.... the weather also does a number on hair styles!

Waylon's cute little curled bangs are just hanging in his eyes! I would get a hair clip for him, but that wouldn't be very manly. It will warm up and dry up and then he will get his spring back!  Now I know you are wondering what is that weed hanging from his horn....

Domino found more...

LOL... was having a hard time getting them off... HELP ME MOM! as he was running towards me...

So I did just that and then we had some cuddles for some Thank you's ...

 Sweetie! Love this guy!

I know you are all yelling it out at me... Did Thelma have the babies yet??? Uh NOPE. She is driving me nuts! So we just won't talk about it at this time. Lets visit Alice and see if maybe she wants to deliver first maybe?

That big blank stare.. "UH NO I don't want to go first!" LOL I think she is behind Thelma... but who knows now. Goats just making me crazy! I want some babies to play with girls!

So then I went to talk to these four..

I am SO praying that this year these girls get pregnant. We didn't have luck last year with Vicky, Lacey or Pepita and our stud Raffie.... but maybe it was just not long enough or weather... or moon and stars alignment, I have no clue. So this year I am really praying that there isn't any problems and one or all of these girls get pregnant. We put Patti in too this time as she is an easy breeder and hoping that maybe a calmer donkey helps out. Long way out for babies... Late Fall.. that seem a long time, but we know time flies -

Now I told you about all the rain this last week. I thought it was funny I found these girls sticking real close to the door way to the coop.

Just in case one of those heavy rains came out of nowhere... smart chickens!

Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed weekend - those in the US.. a very Happy Mother's Day -
And the very best to my Mommy... WE LOVE YOU!

High Hopes Stamps - Willow

Howdy -

I just love Spring don't you? And today for High Hopes Stamps I found a stamp that just gave me that warm good feeling of Spring. This is Willow -

So pretty in . her little pink dress, enjoying the butterfly on a spring flower. She is colored with Copic markers (colors below) then found papers from First Edition Floral Pavilion collection. One of the papers has a sheen to it, love it but it is hard to photo. I sewed the layers down with my sewing machine. Behind the image I layered a Spellbinders die, just a little addition of scrolls. A few dots of Viva Decor white for the dots and sparkle around the bottom of her dress. Then the sentiment from High Hopes Stamps "Live Life in full Bloom"  - Such a pretty image! There are so many to choose from at High Hopes stamps!

Animal Crackers - A Watched Pot...

Howdy -

Well Thelma was about to pop... milk bag looked just right, things counted up on the calendar correctly... and now we wait. Or as they say "A watched pot never boils..."

Now I will say she has been enjoying the special treats and extra attention and maybe she thinks if she has babies the attention will go all to them. But for now she holding off on delivering. I will say the babies have moved lower and look like they are lining up. But that may be me just looking for signs.

We do still have another baby to love on...

We had some loud storms here the other night and it was a long night so everyone was taking naps during the afternoon. Abigail and Penelope was all curled up on the bench snoozing. I did get a little hello from Penelope just after I snapped, but then she went back to sleep. I never have understood how the goats sleep with their neck flipped back like that. And I suppose Abigail was holding that one piece of hay on her horn for later... LOL

Moxie thought that was funny I suppose...

Little chuckle and her tongue sticking out... LOVE that face! Love that girl!!

And then there is my handsome bottle baby Sergio... not such a baby anymore.

Isn't he just stunning... well without the dried mud. Handsome and Sweet!

With the good rain this week Hubby's garden has been growing like crazy! Doesn't look like much now but there are lots of baby veggies growing! Hubby says that we will have fresh squash and zucchini in a week or two!!

And then check this out!!

We have lots of Peaches growing on the trees! Now if only they will continue to ripen and stay safe from the critters until they are ready to pick!! But check out all those yummy peaches! We are excited! We have a had a few over the past couple of years, but this looks like we may have a good bunch of them this year.

Do you have fun family plans this weekend,  I think we will be around home most all the weekend, which is a good thing for me. Time with furry children is always nice.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend -
