Happy Birthday to me.. with THREE Babies!

I still can't believe it! Three babies this week.. three adorable babies! What a wonderful Birthday Gift!! Yes today is my birthday... I think I am going to spend it loving on furry babies and working on my Craft room addition with Hubby - Then maybe dinner out later -

So now what to see some baby photos?
How is this for a group shot of all three babies with "Dad"... I still LOVE seeing all of them together!
Sergio meets his half sister Felicia...

And then he meets his half brother Carlos ...
Here is a Carlos... stunning little man - already we can see he is going to be the outgoing one, very friendly and well .. funny!

And here is Felicia... very tiny about 18-19 inches tall, very fuzzy and just adorable. She at first was kind of skittish - her Mom is skittish.. so that is where she gets it. But we have loved all over her and she is really a hugger and very friendly.

And then our man.. Sergio - Wow just stunning the oldest of the three he is very independent - again his Mom makes him this way. She is a very "loose" Mom lets him wander off on his own. She feels safe in this pen and trust all the other ladies here. (Black Jack the babies Dad is penned up for a couple of weeks while the little ones get their legs under them) I think Hubby is going to have a really hard time selling this one - he is attached to all three already.. but Sergio being a solid black well... he is just solid gold!

And then here is Libbie.. she was more than ready for us to be done loving on the baby donkeys... she is definitely my dog.. hates the heat and loves the air conditioning!! Pant Pant Pant....

Hope you enjoyed!

See you tomorrow for the winner of my Birthday Blog Candy...

Just Magnolia 2 - Monthly Challenge 3-D

Once a month the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog has a special monthly tutorial challenge... and today is it and we are just popping with excitement! Yep popping out in 3-D!

For my card I went with one of my all time favorite Tilda's... ( I say that with a lot of them huh? LOL ) But really this is one of my favorites.. I colored her with my Copics.
I was thrilled that my Martha Stewart Corner and Border Loop punch had arrived when I sat down to make this card! Love those punches and I do think I need to get a couple of the others..
Now my papers.. they are just yummy aren't they? They are Basic Grey porcelain - love the soft colors. I cut the rose out of one of the pattern papers.. and the lace border from another... I gel pen stitched the edges.. oh after I used my corner rounder. The sentiment is from Greeting Farm. Then there were three pearl dots for the corner.
Here is a photo to show how the blouse and her head are pop dotted off the main image. So for this 3-d I used three stamped images and cut out the different areas to bring out.

I do hope you will visit the Just Magnolia too challenge and see all they eye popping wonderful cards!

HUGS and I will be back later today with Donkey/Libbie Day photos... I hope you will forgive me for two post in two days.. not normal, but needed :0)

Just Magnolia - Friends!

Today is Just Magnolia day and we are all Friends! The challenge this week is to make a Friendship card.

Friendship.... well that is a fun and easy theme - and always needed card! So I went through my Magnolias and found sitting Tilda holding a heart - perfect. I colored her with my Copics and then cut her out with my Fiskars kraft knife!
For my card I started out with a white card stock, then found a three pattern papers from my new K&Company stack "Be Mine". Really pretty papers. I inked the edges of the background paper, then took the other two pattern and used my labels Nesties for Tilda to sit in. She is sitting on a line in the pattern paper - worked out well. I gel pen stitched the edge of the tan pattern paper and Tilda is pop dotted.

I then wrapped the corners of the background paper with twine three times on each corner. I ran a piece of Organdy ribbon thru the Nestie label with my Stampin Up punch, oh and also a piece of the twine. Then added six pearl floral dots.

Instead of a bow.. cuz I just got totally nuts trying to make one that looked half way decent.. sigh.. just wouldn't work for nothing!! So instead of a bow I used a large Prima flower - gorgeous huh? Love those big full flowers! I then stuck a few Martha Stewart branch punches behind it for some greenery.

And then my sentiment... I have had this for a while now. Love those Micheal's clearance isles! I paid 99 cents for this one - and it is just perfect for a Friendship card! I cut out a square then used my Fiskars corner punch - the ticket corner, then inked the edges.

I do hope you will visit the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog and see all of the DT cards! WOW these girls just keep getting better and better! And a great prize again this week.

Oh and tomorrow is the Just Magnolia Monthly challenge... so do visit for that again. I will have two post for tomorrow and I will be back again tonight for a second post today! Finally a Card... :0)

So this card is way way late... this is for the Stampavie DT Blog challenge that was suppose to be seen on Tuesday... oops.. I just had so much Donkey news that this poor card just kept getting bumped... wonder if it was because I was questioning it..LOL

I liked it when I made it, I thought it was fun, bright and different... well the bright and different were correct! LOL

I have this SEI stack of paper called Bridgeport ... really fun patterns and colors and I have had it for MONTHS and MONTHS! I pulled it out and decided that it was time to use it. And since the challenge this time for Stampavie Dt is Summer fun... bright and fun these are. They have a wonderful shine to them.. all of the dots and leaves are really shiny. I used two of the purple patterns to punch out some EK Success flowers - colors all go together in the stack.. really they do... LOL

I also used a EK Success border punch for along the band. I used my gel pen to doodle stitch around the edges of everything. The one part of the card that I am still happy with is the Tina Wenke "Opossum Pals" image from Stampavie!! You know opossums are something here.. well we don't like them, they are really not cute. Large nasty rats that we do not like to find here. Well in art they are always cute... and these two really are really cute and having some fun! I colored them with my Copics. I really don't think I can tell you which of these new Tina Wenke images is my favorite.. I say one and then the next one that I color becomes my favorite then!

These images are available now in stores! So no need to wait on them... if you store does not have them make sure to give them the Stampavie web site address... www.stampavie.com and tell them to check them out and order quick! If you don't have a LSS ... you can use any of these links below to find stores that do carry Stampavie.
Australia Austria Belgium Canada Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Iceland Ireland Israel Italy Korea, Republic of Netherlands Norway Poland Reunion Russian Federation Singapore Slovenia Spain Sweden Switzerland Taiwan United Kingdom United States

Hope that helps you feed your need of some really adorable stamps! Just call me the enabler :0)

Today we are putting the rafters up on the craft room addition... yuck.. ladder work. I really don't think God intended for this fat girl to work off the ground... Hubby knows this though and he puts me in place and then does all the stunt man work .. LOL I just need to hold lumber while he puts things together. I hope to snap some more photos today as things are starting to look like a building... for a few days it has looked more like a dance floor or stage. But now we have stud walls going up and we got windows yesterday!! It is really happening!!

Better get my shoes on and get ready to do my shift of construction.. cuz once it starts to get over 100 degrees I am out -

The Race is OVER!!

It was a long race, and it ended with a VERY long night last night! Yes.. both Macey and Jazz crossed the finish line last night! We have two MORE babies! Jazz was first at 10:45.. she delivered a beautiful baby boy.. looks like black again.. this time with a black nose. He popped out, then up and was on the run... and he hasn't stopped. He is going to keep Jazz on her toes and running after him all of the time! Oh yes.. it is a he - Carlos...

Then at 11:30 Macey went into labor despite a snake crawling near her.. she delivered a wonderful tiny healthy little girl! (Yes.. Hubby took care of the snake as soon as we saw it!! eek!) Macey did give us a worry for a while as there for a few minutes we thought there might actually be two babies... but no (twins can be very dangerous) Please meet.. Felicia - she is named for my one of my best friends daughters.. (NOW Becky... I have named a donkey for you :0) LOL) Felicia is really a gorgeous little grey dun with the sweetest white "star" on the top of her head.
We had to do our traditional "Dad with baby" photos this morning... Dad with Carlos...

Dad with Felicia....

And Dad with Sergio... (born day before yesterday)
How wonderful is this photo? Look at all those Moms with their babies... Lots to take photos of now huh? Now we have a breather for a month or two before Patti should be coming close and we will start watching her... This is the joy of breeding Donkeys!

I do hope you will forgive me for not having a card again today... I was out in the pen with the donkeys for over 7 hours last night and well... on top of working all day with Hubby out side in the 102 degree heat building the addition - BTW.. I look like a lobster. Today.. I am just worn out -

So again forgive me for not having a card - those that are new to my blog.. normally I only show donkey photos on Saturdays.. but it was a busy week here with all the new babies! Back to regular schedule tomorrow..... me.. I think I need a nap now! LOL
