My birthday is coming... and I decided that was a great time to celebrate - and so I am offering up the "gift" for you! Yep it is BLOG CANDY TIME!!!
Here is my prize:
And so lets see what I have put together here... a little is new stuff I just went out and purchased and a few things are brand new that have been in my stash and need some love!
While digging though one of my drawers a couple of weeks ago I found FOUR new Sugar Nellie images! Imagine that the poor things have never seen ink! They are all Rachelle Anne Miller, Duck in Boots, Lola with Bunny, Simon and Lola and Lola with Gift - all in the package with their adoption certificates - :0)
Then I went shopping...I got two 4 x 6 DCWV Nana's Nursery stacks - one boy and one girl. (my two favorite card stacks)
I found these wonderful card bases & envelopes from K&Co. - recycled card stock in baby colors
One of my other favorites, Cloud 9 epoxy sentiment stickers.
And a Fiskars effervescent Border Punch -
And what would a blog candy be with out some ribbon? So I found this adorable baby carriage ribbon.. and another pink and white check ribbon...I do hope you like all the goodies I have put together... they are some of my favorites and some that I would love see go to a home that will love them. Now what do you have to do to get this?
Well my "day" is August 15th - so let say it will end 8 pm (central time) on Saturday the 15th. My blog post on Sunday will be the winner! To qualify please leave me a comment on this post. Then please spread the word that I am growing another year older... LOL and that I have candy- you do not have to have a blog to qualify, but please spread the word where ever you chat.
Oh and one more thing.. in your comment...some of you may have read that Hubby has started our new addition to the house... my CRAFT ROOM... how about some ideas for paint colors!

For a craft room I'd probably go for neutral colours so they didn't influence the colours I was working with - but if that's too bland I'd spruce it up with details in teal and blue! That's one of my absolute favourite colour combos.

About your scraproom, I would paint it in candylicious colors, like pink with red or limegreen. With lot of shelfs with your homemade projects on it. I would place an tray with teacups and a big old fashion teapot. And a big cake scale with al your mini albums and projects on it!!

Hi! We just finished my new craft room. I am still getting things put away. I went with a pale yellow. Windows are stained a medium wood color. When the cabinets are finished they will match the windows. I wanted something cheerful, but not bright. Also, something I can add many colors too (such as card, projects, etc on display) without it looking overwelming. The paint is custard cream from Behr, and the stain is Provincal 211 by MinWax, both from Home Depot. I hope this helps.

Regarding your craftroom: I always get happy and creative from vibrant colours, but I don't want them to be overwhelming. So I have white walls with decorations in oranges, greens etc and the curtains are the same.

If I had an addition in the works, I'd seriously consider pale butter yellow.
In Germany we don't say "Happy Early birthday", because there is the superstition that this would 't write it, but be sure, that I will think of you (and your fabulous candy!) on Saturday.
If I could chose the colours for my craftroom (I can't because it's my husband's workroom, too) I would choose shades of fresh green with yellow swirls and ornaments.
