For my card I pulled out one of my newer favorites... I fell in love with this Tilda as soon as I saw it online, then when I got it in the mail I really was excited! I like that it is a bit larger. I colored her with my Copics - making sure she was all in pink and grey!
And I just love the pattern papers - They are Making Memories, and as soon as I heard the challenge, these papers popped into my head! I picked three of the patterns and then matted them with Papertrey Ink Black Card stock and sewed them down with pink thread. Then all the pieces were placed onto a white card stock base.
Then I remembered that I had gotten a new Martha Stewart "Thanks" border punch!!! How cool is it? I then used EK Success border punch across the bottom of the Thanks... and left just enough in the middle for the pink and white gingham ribbon. I love that Thank punch... I think I need more of the "word" borders - BUT I really love how the new Martha Stewart border punches fold up, wow wish all the border punches did that - They stand up and save space!
Oh and then one more touch to my card - I added one Mulberry Pink Rose on Tilda's rose. Was the perfect size -
Now you just have to visit the Just Magnolia's challenge site and see all the gorgeous Pink, Grey and optional black cards! Our sponsor this week is The Hobby House and has a great prize!
