Your Next Stamp - Winter

Howdy -

Today is my last project as Guest DT with Your Next Stamp (YNS) - I have had so much fun playing with a few of their great stamp sets. And now have a very serious addiction to their Gumdrops! (placed my order to make sure I have plenty!) LOL

Now the feature day today has the theme of winter. Now I wasn't sure how to play with winter, but then decided that with the new Java Geek stamp set and some winter colors I went for it.

I stamped out three of the coffee cups and colored with my Copics (colors below) Matched up with some papers from Kaisercraft's Madame Boutique collection. I sewed down the layers with a zig zag stitch and straight stitch. Then I found a white ribbon to use as a band... now I know it isn't white here. I colored it with one of the Copic's to match! Love doing that. For my die cut sentiment I used YNS's Scripty Words Die Set. Really fabulous set with 5 great useful dies.  Then a few more of those yummy Gumdrops!

Inside more of the same papers.

YNS - Sketch Color Challenge!! HANG ON!

Howdy -

Today I am joining in on the Your Next Stamp (YNS) Sketch / Color Challenge - Now for the challenge you can join in on one or the other.. sketch or color. I was trying to pull of both. Not to sure if I accomplished it but it was fun trying!

For my image I went with a few more stamps from the Word Critters Collection.  There are SO MANY stamps in this collection. These two little kitties really gave me a grin. And that sentiment is just perfect with the cats. I colored with my Copics (colors below). Papers from Graphic 45 with card stock to match the challenge. I sewed down the layers and kept it all simple like the sketch.

Inside more of the same papers and another sentiment from the collection.

YNS - Donkey Baby Card

Howdy -

Now you all know how much I love my donkeys... and I am always on the look out for another great donkey stamp. Well I found another one! At Your Next Stamp, YNS,  they have a great funny little donkey, So Sorry Donkey is too adorable!

And after talking to them and finding this adorable little donkey I was asked if I would like to play as a guest with them for the month of December! I love having fun with stamps... :0)

So here is my project with So Sorry Donkey!!

Isn't he cute!! I colored with my Copics (colors below) For my card I found a very old project I did years ago, a sweet little onesie baby jumper card. I decided to recreate for this cute little donkey. For some reason I saw it as a baby card.. LOL I hand cut out the onesie out of green card stock creating a fold at the top. I found two pattern papers from DCWV Nanny's collection I hand cut the papers as bit smaller than the card stock. Then I sanded the edges of everything. Hand cut a collar, and then cut out the image as a large pocket for the front.  I added a piece of satin ribbon and buttons to finish of the Onesie.  I am displaying on an old little hanger isn't it perfect? This image comes with sentiments as well, and they also offer a die for the donkey! Love that!
