Animal Crackers - Baby Sebastian

Howdy -

I have to say lots of spare time has been spent out getting to know Sebastian... he is such a love!
And absolutely Adorable!! Just don't look close at my house as I have spent too long out there! Oh heck it is never too long to spend with a new baby!

This little guy just loves his hugs! And just like his Momma Bella he is pushy for it! LOL But that is just alright by me.

I really don't think there is anything cuter than a little baby donkey with those long legs and LONG EARS!

Mom likes to get a little pushy with her son as well... they do love to play with each other and have fun.

I just can't stop saying it... adorable!!

He is a pistol.. he is already eating a bit of grass and hay.. following his Mom and learning what she does.

ok... new word... Beautiful. Even as a boy he is is beautiful!

Other news around our place. We said goodbye to Uno this last week. He went to a new home and has a bunch of new girlfriends to keep him company. I am sure he is a happy boy.

And sadly the two other little boys will probably being moving on this weekend. We would love to keep all our kids, but we already have too many "men"  around and the smart thing to do is make sure our boys that leave go to a good home and are happy and taken care of.

I will say I will miss these handsome guys... Luna has been especially sweet for me.

Centavo is a little more independent but just as sweet and handsome!

We are planning to move around a few and get some girls in with Peso and hopefully DOC as well. Hubby thinks he may still be a little young... but I still want to give him a girl or two!

Hope you have a very blessed weekend and hug someone furry!

Whimsy Stamps - Jillian and Friends

Howdy -

Colored up a new image from Whimsy Stamps this week and was lots of fun because the stamp set by Sylvia Zet called Jillian and Friends. This set multiple options to create lots of fun images, with sentiments!

I colored up with my Copics after masking off and setting the cute little squirrel next to Jillian. I found some papers from First Edition Spring Feast collection. I sewed down all the layers and used a kraft card stock for the base. Used a sentiment from the collection as well.

Mulberry Flowers in the corner  with Martha Stewart Leaf and Branch punches. For some added sparkle to match the sparkle on the pattern paper I added some stickles down between the flowers and on the dots in the image.

Inside the card more of the same papers.

Copic markers used -

Love this sweet image set and how many cards can be made with just one set.

Make sure you visit the store and see all the new image from the month of March and then get ready for the new April images next week! You can see them HERE.

Have a wonderful blessed day!

High Hopes Stamps - NEW RELEASE

Howdy -

I feel so blessed to be working for High Hopes Stamps! Especially when a new release comes out with such fun exciting NEW images and matching SVG files!

For my first project with the new release I had a chance to play with "Puppy Wonder"  - always fun to play with a cute puppy!

I colored with my Copic markers (colors below) - after I cut out the Puppy Wonder stamp shape with my Silhouette Cameo - been a while since I worked with my Cameo... I dusted it off. Opened up the Puppy Wonder file, chose to cut and loaded my paper. And like butter it cut out perfectly for my stamp! Was so fabulous how quick it all went! I then picked out my pattern paper for some matting opened up the mat file for the same image... and a minute later had the cut out mat that fit fabulously! Had so much fun that I did it all over again with my sentiment from High Hopes "Heart Sing" ! Don't you just love the way it makes it all just pop!  So exciting to have my Cameo out and playing with it and I do believe it is going to get a whole bunch of use with all these fun files from High Hopes!

My pattern papers are from First Edition Bella Rose collection. A border punch from Martha Stewart, embroidered lace, and some sewing with my machine puts all the layers together. I added a few dots of Viva Decor pearl pen for a little embellishments.

Inside the card more of the same pattern papers  -

Copic colors used -

I am so looking forward to playing with all the new release images and SVG files from High Hopes!! Make sure to visit the store HERE and see all the great fun!

Animal Crackers - Meet Bella's Boy!!

Howdy -

YES Finally we have a baby here! Bella delivered a bouncing baby boy Thursday morning!!

Meet Sebastian!

This little guy is a pistol! He is an active dude, as all of Bella's babies are!

Traditional Day One photo with "Dad"

Was hard to get that photo as Sebastian was running in the air while Hubby was trying to hold him. LOL Bella is making sure all is good...

She is a good Mom. Some times a little pushy but a very attentive Mom.

Love this shot of the Donkey Hug!!!
Hubby squatted down and Sebastian ran over and pushed himself against him. Then Bella wanted in on the action and was rubbing and pushing too...

There are lots more photographs to show off - will show more during the week and next Saturday for sure.

Been working the Round Top Antique Show all week and we are just beat! Did have one other photograph I took earlier to show off though....

Found the brothers Fraidy and Scaredy Cat resting in a shady spot. Can you tell they are brothers and why I can hardly tell which is which??

Good looking guys and usually pretty close to each other so we just call them both... Ha!

Hope you have a great blessed weekend!

Animal Crackers - Spring, Shake and Roll

Howdy -

Well SPRING is officially here. And things are really growing! Our front pasture is finally showing the colors of spring with the first of the flowers. Indian Paintbrushes, and soon we should see a few more bluebonnets.

Hubby caught a great photograph of Cocoa and Valentine enjoying the afternoon in the sun surrounded by the flowers.

They do look pretty standing in the flowers don't they?

Found Leon enjoying the spring weather as well... talking and showing off to the girls next door. He is a handsome young guy isn't he?

And then he decided to SHAKE off things and start strutting all over again.

He is funny... but don't tell him, he thinks he is totally cool.

And for a little ROLL, I found Miss Moxie enjoying a little back rub roll in one of the donkey pens. Oh my that girl is never clean for long, she loves rolling in the dirt.

Love this shot of Darlene - My old lady...

We have put Bella into a smaller pen near the house to keep a close watch on her as she is really starting to show her signs of a baby coming. And since her BFF is Darlene we decided until it is time for the delivery we would have Darlene keep Bella company in the pen. Ok so neither of them are super happy being in a small pen away from all the girls. But as long as they are getting fresh hay they are dealing with it.

Libbie in her new bed... Yes. that is a hole with stuffing coming out. I asked what happened to her pretty bed and she put her head down and gave me this sad looking little face.

Now how in the world can you be upset with that face. We will just have to fix her bed and move on. Will get her a new one if we have too. A better sewn one next time I am thinking. You can see in the photo only one eye is flashing back, she is totally blind in that one eye and most of the time she copes just fine. She still bumps into a few things from time to time. But she has learned to not move full speed if she can't see well so bumping isn't to hard on her. Love this girl so much -

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend - A very blessed Easter Sunday -
