Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Dude

Howdy -

Another new release from Whimsy Stamps - another digital image and this little guy is adorable!

This is "Dude" from Pollycraft.. So cute! Just wish I could join him at the beach!

I colored with my Copics and then added Ranger's Stickles for that great beachy sand! Then clear Nuvo for his sunglasses cuz they needed to reflect right? I cut out the image with the Whimsy Stamps Die "Basic Stitched Oval" set, after cutting out that surf board so it would pop a bit more!

Found perfect papers from Paper Studio Beach collection. I matted with brown card stock and sewed down all the layers. For my sentiment I used Whimsy Chipboard Elements "Let's Celebrate the Day" all put together from the "Celebrate Adapt-a=Word" set. So many words to put together for any card or project! I colored the layers with a dark brown copic so they would show well on the card.

Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Daphne

Howdy -

There is a new release at Whimsy Stamps!! LOVE NEW IMAGES! this month there is so many great image and playing with Whimsy Stamps Digital Stamps are just even more cuz you can change you sizes and do so much... fast too!

Today I am showing off the new image Daphne from  Sylvia Zet! She is so sweet and fun!

She is so pretty, right? I colored with my copics (colors below) And then added some Rangers's Stickles to her wings and dots of Nuvo light blue around the card. I found an older piece of SEI paper that I matted with green card stock and placed it all on a yellow card stock base. All sewn down with zig zag stitch and straight stitch. And for a sentiment I used the fabulous Chipboard element "Smile" I colored with my copics so they would match. I ADORE these Chipboard elements! You ordered any yet? Whimsy Stamps - Penguin Birthday

Howdy -

Today for Whimsy Stamps I have a little "Penguin Birthday" from artist Crissy Armstrong Collection. 

Such a fun image! And so perfect for any age birthday card! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added some clear Nuvo on the balloon. I found some papers from Jellibean that were just too perfect for this little penguin! I matted each layer with dark red card stock and sewed them together.

Then a fabulous sentiment... I am in total love with the Whimsy Chipboard Elements sentiments! There are so many to choose from and the look great on the card! I colored with Copics and glued down. simple and Fun!

Cute right?? I colored her with Copics (colors below) and found a piece of paper from My Minds Eye. Love the red. A ribbon, a die cut Vine and dark red mulberry roses for embellishments. And then for those cute little words. They are all from the Whimsy Stamps set "You're Too Kind" I think all these little words are perfect for a "Mom" don't you? Hope my Mom likes it :0) -

Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Bath Cat

Howdy -

Another new image from the new Release at Whimsy Stamps! This is Bath Cat by Crissy Armstrong.  

 I just adore this image... too funny! I used some Making Memories papers that I sewed together with a zig zag stitch and used a grey card stock base. The image I cut out with a Whimsy Basic Stitched Ovals Die set. Great dies! I added lots of Ranger Stickles for the bubbles... cuz bubbles need to sparkle!

A few punched leaves and then old mulberry flowers with silver brads. And for the sentiment one of my new favorites "Thanks Word and Shadow Dies set" Love this sentiment set. All thought when with this image I think it may have a bit of a sarcastic feel to it. LOL

Whimsy Stamps New Release

New Release at Whimsy Stamps!  Fleur is from CC Designs and just adorable!

I went with a little bit of a beach feel, I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut her out loosely. A couple of papers from my scraps that felt a bit like a beach paradise, a ribbon with three antique buttons and then the fabulous sentiment "Smile".  Such a cute image that just gives you a smile right?

Whimsy Stamps - Party Kitty

This is one super cute Birthday image! This is CCDesigns "Party Kitty" 

 Sweet right? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut it out with the Whimsy Basic Stitched Ovals Die Set. I cut out the one balloon to pop off the oval. My pattern papers are from First Edition Floral Pavilon collection. The layers are sewn down and then for my favorite part... The Whimsy Chipboard Elements "happy birthday" oh so adore these sentiments! I color with my matching copics and then add to the card! For a little added sparkle I added some clear Nuvo to the balloons. Balloons do have to shine right?

Whimsy Stamps - NEW Release - Alfie

Howdy -

Another great image from the new release at Whimsy Stamps - This cutie is Alfie - by CC Designs.

She is just so precious - I colored with my Copics. (Colors below)  and then cut out with a Whimsy Stamps Basic Stitched Oval Die Set.  I made sure her little leaf popped out of the oval for some fun! I found some matching pattern papers from Kaisercraft Secret Garden collection. And I found four older Prima mulberry flowers that were perfect matches! with layers of Whimsy Stamps Leaf Foliage 2 Die Set.  Topped off with buttons and brads. And for the sentiment.. a Whimsy Stamps Chipboard "Hello" - I colored the top layer with a Copic to match the card. Love that the you can match up the Chipboard to match and they look so fabulous! A couple of corner dies to finish off this cutie!

Whismy Stamps - NEW release When Pigs Fly

Howdy -

There is a New Release at Whimsy Stamps!! And this image is just too much fun!

When Pigs Fly by Crissy Armstrong -

 Now there are lots of reasons I love using Whimsy Stamps Digital images... but one of my favorite is the fact that I can print out the image with the background. Sometimes I use digital patterns paper, and sometimes I used a real photo image. And for a flying pig I really needed a big bright blue sky! My pig is being flown by three yellow birds. I colored with my Copics (colors below) And just LOVE how this came out. I sewed the image down on white card stock and then found a piece of DCWV pattern paper with a glitter pattern. And then the Whimsy Stamps Die set "Thanks Word and Shadow" Set. Adore this set of dies! Three layers that stack up perfectly and look fabulous on your card! I then added three dots of Nuvo White drops for embellishments.

This card just make me happy! And there are so many new images at Whimsy Stamps in the new release and you can find them at the Whimsy website HERE.

Whimsy Stamps - Bonnie

So excited that Spring is here! And with Spring arriving that means it is time for Easter, and for that cute Happy Easter card is there anything cuter than Whimsy Stamps Sylvia Zets image "Bonnie" - so sweet!

 Adorable right?  - and the Sentiment came with her! I colored with my Copics (colors below) I found a piece of Paper Studios that had that flowering springy feel. The layers are sewn down, and then two Whimsy retired dies for the leaves. Then some old mulberry flowers from Prima with yellow button centers.

Whimsy Stamps - Tulip

Howdy -

Spring is so so close and I am loving the new images from Whimsy Stamps and this little cutie from CC Designs is called Tulip - Cute right? 

Just love those round full cheeks on these girls! I colored with my copics (colors below) and then cut her out with a Whimsy Basic Stitched Oval Die Set

For a pop of color I found pattern papers from Dovecraft Bohemian collection and matched up with white card stock base and a mat that I punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.

That fabulous sentiment "Birthday Wishes" is Whimsy Chipboard! Swoon over these! Seriously they are fabulous and they can have color added to match up perfectly! You must get some right away really! 

Then the card had to have some flowers.. so I found some older pansies and mulberry tulips. I mean this card had to have some tulips on it right?

Whimsy Stamps - Cinnamon and Bunnies

Howdy -

Today for Whimsy Stamps I have a Digital image that is just too precious, from CC Designs. Cinnamon and Bunnies.  How can you not grin with a cute little girl holding bunnies?

Sweet image right? I colored with my copics (colors below) and then used some White Nuvo for the bunny tail. A piece of pattern paper from Simple Stories Florals collection. I sewed down the papers wtih a Yellow card stock and pink card stock. For my sentiment I used a new die I just got... insert happy grin here... Love the Whimsy Friend Word and Shadow Die set!! The word, then two shadow dies make the word really pop!

A couple added old flowers from Prima and some antique buttons and done.

Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Chickie

Howdy -

Today for the Whimsy Stamps New Release I have had some fun coloring the new CC Designs "Chickie" A totally adorable stamp for Easter!

Now one of my favorite things about using Digital Stamps is that I can print up the background with the image for that pro look. And my background today is from the new Pattern Paper collection at Whimsy Stamps Rustic Wood and Brick Papers.  I have a thing for rustic wood and brick papers!! I guess it is that country love that makes me giggle when I see these papers!

Normally I would go light and pastel with my Easter cards - but for some reason I went more country and bold colors. So I printed the Chickie image and barn paper in one piece... then colored up the image with my Copics (colors below) I found a piece of pattern paper from Paper studio matched up with Brown and Pink card stock. All the layers are sewn down with zig zag and straight stitch.

The sentiment is "happy" is one my favorite Whimsy Chipboard elements. I colored with my Copic... These chipboard embellishments are so fabulous!! Then for a little more fun.. just cuz an adorable image with a chickie on her head isn't enough.. I added some Whimsy Enamel Dots!! More fun for sure!

Whimsy Stamps - Lend Me Your Ears

Howdy -

There is a new release at Whimsy Stamps! And this new digital image "Lend Me Your Ears" is so adorable! But then again I am a sucker for a cute animal image!

 Too sweet right? Look at the love and care in their eyes... Colored with my Copics (colors below) And then found a pattern paper from Simple Stories and used a dark brown card stock for the base and mat, sewing down all the layers. I thought some nice corners would work well, so I used a Spellbinders dies. And then my new LOVE the Whimsy Stamps Chipboard Elements.. "Thanks" I so adore these sentiments and embellishments! I can color them with matching Copic colors for that perfect match!

Whimsy Stamps - Adopt Don't Shop CATS

There are two new sets of stamps at Whimsy Stamps that just seriously are totally heart worthy! And a great cause too! Today I am using Adopt  Don't Shop CATS -

This set of cats comes with so many fabulous sentiments - Look -

I colored with my copics (colors below) There is so much fun coloring the patterns of the cats! I found some papers from Bella & Boo. I sewed down the layers of papers with a straight and zig zag stitch. The sentiment "Happy Birthday from the whole KITTEN Caboodle" is just too funny. For just a bit more embellishment I added some Whimsy Stamps Enamel Dots.

Whimsy Stamps - Amy

Howdy -

Today for Whimsy Stamps I am playing with Sylvia Zet's "Amy" - She is so pretty and I am loving her flowers and heart shaped balloon. 

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and with pretty flowers I found some pattern papers from Graphic 45 to match up . I sewed all the layers down on a Core-d'nations cardstock base that I sanded. Bright bold papers for a pretty image.

For my sentiment I pulled out the yummy Whimsy's chipboard element "Celebrate Adapt-a-Words" LOVE LOVE LOVE these chipboard elements.
