Hanglar Girlfriends Forever

You know the whole time I was putting this together, I thought this little Hanglar girl had wings and I could use her for this weeks Cute Card Challenge... but no, so I will do another later today. But I am happy with how this came out.

I am still practicing with my Distressing Inks and water pen. I am determined aren't I? After coloring her, I doodled around the edge with a Copic Multi-liner, and then inked the edge. I used a dark brown card stock for the base and all of the pattern papers are from a new K&Company Scrap Pad Stack that I got yesterday from Brenda Walton. Love the fall colors. I moved pieces around for an hour, and finally decided I just needed to commit and go with something. I inked the edges of all of the pieces as well.

Don't you just love the sentiment? "Girlfriends Forever" is from All Night Media, I got it at a garage sale a while back.

I also got a chance to play with my new Martha Steward Punches Scallop dots Border and Frond leave punch. So happy I found both of them! The flower is from Collection Inspirations (I think) and is felt with a matching glittered brad for the center.
Well we have been put on alert here... Bella is getting very close to delivering. In fact Hubby thought it would be last night, so I checked on her every couple of hours all night long. I really thought she has a day or two more, but it is better to be safe and it is only sleep I am loosing. So who knows maybe Donkey Day Saturday may be a new introduction? Oh I so hope so, I don't want this to be like Cheyenne this last spring where she took 4 days... man I was a Zombie when little Lola finally came!
Hope you have a great Friday and a fun weekend planned... get inky!
HUGS and-
