"Hi There" Baby Angelina!!!

Wow what an exciting night! Macey had her baby... a beautiful little girl whose name is Angelina! I went out to check on Macey and Cheyenne, the two Momma's to be about 7pm last night. And Macey was acting just a bit odd. Went and got hubby. And about 30-45 minutes later we had another little girl! I won't lie, I stood there and prayed the entire time, Macey did struggle and had a tough birth. You see her first baby two years ago was breech and it was bad. We almost lost Macey. But she is healthy, and she did give birth to a healthy little girl.

I hope I am forgiven for not getting the candy winner last night ... but we were out with the donkeys and building a temporary Baby pen. You see our other privacy pens are full. We thought it might work out where one came out just in time for another to go in, but oh well! We still have one more, Cheyenne due any time... then no one due until the end of summer.

I love this photo of the two of them, it is about 15 minutes after birth. The sun was setting, and everything had a glow. The second photo is Macey showing "Daddy" Black Jack his new daughter. Isn't that just the sweetest.
The third photo is from this morning. All dry and cleaned up and puffy! She has her Momma's BIG beautiful eyes and I really just don't know where she got those ears.... they are skinny, long pointed ears that have a slight curl at the tip, speaking of curl, her tail is curled like a little pig. I am sure that will straighten out but it is just adorable, and I tried to get a photo of it for you to see, but it doesn't really stop wagging....
I do have one card to show today, despite the fact I didn't get a chance to work on anything last night. I week or so ago I got my new Scor-Pal, a really cool tool. I have been really wanting to make a gate fold card, and since getting this thing it is a breeze! This is my first gate fold card, and I could say that I photographed it "open" so you could see the gate fold, but no I need to figure out how to keep it closed. Any ideas? I also made the matching envelope! It was soooo easy with their instructions! I now can make my hard to find square envelopes! I don't know who the pattern paper is by, as it wasn't marked and it has been in my stash for I really don't how long. The House Mouse stamp just seemed a really good size for the card and I haven't used it in a while as well. Colored in with my Copics, added a little of Spica Glitter Pen. Then added some piercing holes and white gel pen for my "stitching". The sentiment, is from My Favorite Things.
Judging for the Funniest Joke Blog Candy will be tonight!!! (he he unless Cheyenne decides differently!)
