So the challenge today is "In the Garden" ... lots of room for so many of the Stampavie images! Well I just had to use another one of the new Sarah Kay images, there are so many that I love. This image is "Gardens need many helpers" Isn't she cute?
For my card I started with a pale yellow card stock base. I was just dying to use my new Martha Stewart Chicks border punch (THANK YOU HELENE!!! She got this for me, I couldn't find it anywhere locally) ... so much of the card was planned around it. A white card stock mat with all Making Memories pattern papers....the gingham paper was punched with a Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, then sewed down to the white. Then this is where I got to use my chickie border punch!!! I punched the country blue card stock scrap, then layered it over a yellow scrap. Isn't it cute!! I stacked the pretty floral paper on that and sewed it down. The image, that is colored with Copics, is sewed down to a scrap of yellow card stock. I love the colors...
A piece of wide white ribbon twill as a band across the middle... under the pop dotted image. Forgot to mention that.
I found two large Prima flowers.. oh these are just about all gone, and I have loved this style... pout pout. Martha Frond punches for the leaves, with light blue button centers sewed with white twine.
