I decided that I didn't want to go pink or red. Make it just a bit more of a challenge for myself. And I had all of my new Sarah Kay images, from Stampavie, sitting here screaming to be inked up. Then I remembered these really cool Heidi Grace Hearts I have in my stash. They are snaps... they have a back to them, kind of different. But really pretty.
So since my hearts are a pretty cream color, I started looking through my papers to see what would match. I found this Graphic 45 paper - just gorgeous paper... That helped in my coloring of the new Sarah Kay image "Can I tell you a secret?" I went with light greens and peaches - with my Copics and high lighted with white gel pen.
I inked the edges of all of the Graphic 45 pattern papers and then sewed everything. The flowers were a perfect find as well... they match the papers perfectly! I punched out some Martha Stewart branches out of a dark olive card stock. See aren't the flowers just gorgeous? Sadly I am also just about out of these - The border punch is from Fiskars is Apron Lace.
And the epoxy stickers are Heidi Grace - seemed just perfect for the image.
Now pop over to A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge and see all the Hearts!!! I just love them! A Cute prize this week!
Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday -
