Howdy -
This week for Whimsy Stamps I colored up one of the new winter images "Christmas Penguin" by Lee Holland. He is just so sweet.
I colored with my copies (colors below) and then I went a bit nuts with my new Marvy Snow Marker. Love that stuff, it is like magic when you heat it up! LOL Then I pulled out three papers from the new Whimsy Stamps Paper "Christmas Cheer" 6x6 pad. LOVE these holiday papers! I sewed down the layers then added some of the matching Whimsy "Christmas Cheer Enamel Dots" Fabulous dots and LOVE that they are made to match up with the papers! Then I topped it off with a couple of the new Whimsy Shapeology "Snowflake Dies"
Inside the card the same papers.

It is time to start thinking about those Christmas cards and you will LOVE what you find to play with at Whimsy Stamps Store!! Promise!

High Hopes Stamps - Crawling Baby Boy
Howdy -
With the new Baby Boom Release at High Hopes I have just been ga ga over coloring up and these cute babies. Since I worked with a baby girl card last week. This week I went with a little boy, blue and green colors. This image is Crawling Baby Boy.
Isn't' that a adorable little face? Well and that crawling with that little rear end up in the air. Colored with Copics (colors below) and then I matched it up with the papers from Authentique Cuddle Boy Papers. I sewed all the layers together with a zig zag stitch. Added three buttons and the the High Hopes Sentiment "It's a Boy" -
Inside the card more of the same papers -

Animal Crackers - Miss Macey
Howdy -
This week we are taking special care of Miss Macey. And asking for prayers that she will heal and get back to normal.
Macie has injured her back leg. Not sure if it is a sprain or a bruise, some times she is limping, some times she steps oddly and then will totally three leg it. So we are praying that it isn't something worse. We love this lady so much. She is one of the very first girls we purchased years ago. I feel in love with those giant big brown eyes the very first time I saw her. A totally sweetheart. So please add Macie to your prayers and she will recover soon. For now she is up in the small Momma Pen getting lots of extra attention. And lots of hugs.
The goats were all taking it easy yesterday afternoon -
Lucy, Chloe, Jennifer, Annie and Frankie were all taking advantage of the shade yesterday. It was hot in the sun, but wasn't horrible in the shade. Actually… this is pretty much their afternoon every afternoon… not much else required of them… eating, sleeping, rubbing their horns… not too much on their schedules… LOL
Abigail is such a beauty…
Not in the shade, but still taking it easy… LOL
Spartacus was talking a bit… chewing on whatever is left in his mouth and basically looking like one good lookin' dude…
He is you know… LOL smells terrible… but is a cutie!!
Speaking of cutie… My baby Autie got his last hair cut of the year this last week.
Hubby didn't want to do a full cut, said it was getting to close to fall… but seriously we are in Texas here and it has still been in the 90's here…. I am sure he will grow out a couple of inches before COLD gets here. And he really needed it. Look how adorable he is… we cut a lot more around his face and ears this time. Now when he looks at you and turns his head he really does have the puppy look. Love my baby!
Some good new! We got our first egg from the youngest chickens! Finally!
Egg production around here has been horrible this month, but maybe now that the young gals are going to contribute things will pick up!
One more this week…. Hubby found a friend…
The guy loves bugs! We were leaving the other day and he stopped the truck and jumped out. I thought something was wrong with the truck… but nope. He saw this Praying Mantis on the truck and wanted to make sure it got off safely "at home" instead of flying off the truck down the road…. my Hubby :0)
Hope you got a smile this week… prayers from Macie.

High Hopes Stamps - Swaddling Baby Girl
Howdy -
I have a confession… I am in total love with the new release at High Hopes Stamps. Who doesn't love a baby? Today I had fun playing with "Saddling Baby Girl"
Isn't she adorable? I colored her with my Copics (colors below), I then paper pieced the blanket. Love the pink and green pattern paper from Authentique Cuddle Baby Girl Collection. I matched it up with Core'dinations pink and cream card stock. I sanded all the card stock, and sewed down the layers with a large zig zag stitch. I cut out a Spellbinders Scalloped Diet to mat the circle cut of the image. A bunch of mulberry flowers, with Martha Stewart Frond Leaf punches, sanded and white opaque paint to enhance. The High Hopes sentiment "It's a girl" just perfect. For some added embellishment I added dots of Viva Decor Cream Pearl Pen.

That is the man watching all the girls walk by…. if he could do cat calls he would. Just a few Stud Hee Haws though… What a good looking man though!!! Stunning!
Hope you got another smile with my babies today…. they are so wonderful. Have a wonderfully blessed weekend!

Had some afternoon hugs and head scratches with the ladies yesterday afternoon - Excuse me… the ladies and Sebastian..
He shot me a smile to remind me he was there too! LOL Such a sweet boy… and yes dragging our feet to wean him… I know I have said it a couple of times that it is time…. But it is going to happen soon. Look at those sparkling white young teeth. Gorgeous!
Then Patti gave me a smile… to show off her pearly whites!
Uh.. NOT! Oh my Patti we need to get a toothbrush to those grass filled teeth! LOL She was still smiling though!
Then here she comes…. get ready… its JULIET!
This girl DEMANDS all the attention and everyone else has to move aside…
But hey she is a beauty… here is her "MOM Put down the camera and love on me!!" look….
Love this gal… too funny. Now some ask me what is the difference in the miniatures and the standards? Well here is Juliet watching Sonia in the weeds…
Little bit of a difference huh? And Hubby would love one day to add a Mammoth Donkey to our family… that is a HUGE jump in size again!! Maybe one day… maybe….
Then when I turned and looked I found Sergio with a very serious stance…
That is the man watching all the girls walk by…. if he could do cat calls he would. Just a few Stud Hee Haws though… What a good looking man though!!! Stunning!

Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Apple Allie
Howdy -
Another day of New Release at Whimsy Stamps! And today I just had to share Apple Allie from Elisabeth Bell collection. I swoon over her images don't you?
I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then inked the edges with Ranger's Tea Dye ink to age it up a bit. I found some papers from My Mind's Eye Pretty Things collection. I sewed down layers with Core'dinations dark red card stock as a base. Love to sand that card stock and match it up to vintage feeling papers. I added some lace, Martha Stewart Frond and branch punches, and mulberry roses to match the papers. Then the sentiment from Whimsy's Bold Sentiment collection. Such fun sentiments with this large collection of stamps.

Whimsy Stamps - New Release! - Build A Snowman
Howdy -
Whimsy Stamps September Release!! There are so many wonderful fall/winter images, dies, papers and dots to choose from!
My first card with a new release this month I am using "Build A Snowman" by Lee Holland for Whimsy Stamps. Such a cute winter image.
I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then I added some Marvy Snow Marker and heated it up to make a little puffy snow. Love that stuff! For my papers I just had to use some of the new Whimsy Stamps Papers. This is from the Winter Wishes Collection. Perfect with my teddy bear and snowman I think. I sewed down the layers then used the Whimsy Shapeology New Snowflake Dies. Three great snowflakes to add a little snow embellishment!
The sentiment "Thanks" is also a Whimsy Shapeology die set… Card Builder Many Thanks Die Set.
And for some added bling… I added some of those new fabulous enamel dots! Glittering Blue from the Winter Wishes Enamel set! Love those dots!!

Animal Crackers - Here's Looking at You Kid….
Howdy -
Yesterday morning I went out to chat with the lady goats for a bit. Now many were still finishing up their breakfast and were not interested in me, but a few had already claimed the best lounging spots and said hello….
Our old lady Paintbrush was in her favorite shack stretched out enjoying the morning breeze before it the temps got to hot.
Should I tell her she is wearing a piece of her breakfast in her beard? No… that might embarrass her, she might just be saving that for later right? Love this lady to pieces… She sure has given up some stunning babies over the years… she is retired now, we are praying we have years to keep on hugging on her. She loves hugs BTW….
Found Alice just walking away from breakfast… actually with a bite still being chomped on as she was waddling away.
She is a looker, isn't she… black with the spots of white and those fabulous ice blue eyes.
Then there is her 1/2 sister Gracie… just the opposite but just a stunning of a beauty!
White with the spots of black and those same baby blues! Gracie has always been a bit stand offish, not super friendly, but she is getting so much better. She really wants the attention and is almost there for letting us love all over her. After I snapped this photo I actually got to pet the end of her nose and have a close chat with her.
No worries of not getting to pet on on this gal… Miss Lizzie is one of the super obnoxious friendly girls. I snapped this photo of her chillin' in the shade and then in 1/2 a second she was out and jumping up on me for a little head scratching.
Then I had to pay constant attention while trying to move around and keep taking a few photos. Pushy… but totally adored and loved.
Louise is another that really wants the total attention but just can't quite bring herself to let you… I get a nose rub… maybe a scratch between the horns and then she backs up.
Funny how their personalities are so different. Her twin Thelma (who looks exactly like Lizzie) Thelma is more of lap goat, and total attention hog.. LOL
Then there is goats like Jennifer. I don't' think she has allowed us to pet her once since very long after she was weaned. Nope a loner, and very rude I think. But she is family so what can you do?
I would love to blame her for the condition of that igloo she is in. But I was a combination of many of the goats. Incase I haven't said it before… goats are very destructive creatures.
The Dogloo's are the best huts we have found for them. They last the longest without damage… but once in a while one hut will give in to the abuse. They have lots of horn rubbing and just give in to the power of these ladies…. This hut will be dumpstered shortly I am sure… Nothing last forever I suppose.
One more photo… found one of the Guinea's has taken up a dogloo for herself….
We pick up Guinea eggs everywhere in the goat pen. They lay them wherever and whenever they want. But once in a while they start a stash to sit on. Now they will never hatch as we have no "boy" for them. But this Guinea tries her best to raise up some little chicks. We really need to find her a man and let her have some babies don't we? She doesn't know it here… but I am going to collection those eggs and try and cook them dry and dye them to decorate with…. A friend did some for me and they are just beautiful. So I want to try myself and see how hard it is to do. I have the Guinea eggs for sure…just need to make the time to actually do it now.
Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend - enjoy some fun with someone furry or feathered! :0)
