High Hopes Stamps - Just Married

Howdy -

Today is my High Hopes Stamps post and I had some fun with a new great wedding image. This is "Just Married"

This is a really fun wedding image don't you think? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added stickles for her veil. My papers are from  Kaisercraft Bonjour collection. I sewed down the layers with pink thread.

Sentiment is also from the new High Hopes release - "Love Blooms Here" Worked out really great to stamp it directly onto a piece of the pattern paper. I added three Martha Stweart Frond leaf punches, and three mulberry roses.

Inside the same papers.

Copic colors used -

Lots of fun with the new release. You can see all of the High Hopes New images HERE.

Animal Crackers - It's heating up

Howdy -

Hope the weather is nice where you are. Here it has been really pretty. But the heat and humidity is really moving in! We have moved the little chicks out into their pen, and they are getting use to the running room, sun, heat and well... bugs. They are really LOVING the catching bugs! LOL They are always in action and in hunting mode. I did catch Spot resting on their pole.

The pole is a favorite place to hang out in the afternoon, it is in the shade and up high enough to get a little breeze. I cannot even tell you how much we have been loving these four little chicks. We love our other chickens but honestly they aren't the most attentive friendly pets. These four... so friendly! You go into the pen and they all four just run at you and want you to pick them up and well... pet them. I have caught Hubby in there more than once this past week chatting with them. LOL

Tried to get a photo of Frizzle for you... was in serious hunt mode, a fly was buzzing around.

Head was always in movement. So funny to watch, but not great for clear photos!

Found Raffie off in the end of his pen watching the girl donkey's way off in the distance. He is so handsome... I really want to get a couple of girls in with him to have babies next year and the past few weeks with the storm damage and such we just haven't gotten to it.

If we don't get things caught up soon we will have to wait for fall as it will be too hot for sure.

It has gotten so warm here now all the animals are shedding their undercoats. Most all the goats are pretty slick year round, but a few really get some thick winter fur going. Wyatt is one of those. Not a great photo of him but I was hoping you could see how is shedding... and hopefully you can even see the fur hanging from his horns.

I am sure you need a good scratch now and then loosing all that fur... and those horns can reach just that perfect spot.

Now I know I showed off Frankie last week with his new hornless look. But I snapped this photo of him yesterday afternoon and it just made me so happy to see hims feeling so good... I think he is actually smiling here don't you think?

 Man he is a looker!

I wish Jennifer one of the girl goats had her grandfather's personality.... She is a pretty goat, but a pain in the... well she just isn't friendly at all.

Her and her sister Malory both are very skittish and not as friendly and outgoing as most all of the other girls. I really wanted to breed Jennifer and get more buckskin goats. But don't want the personality to follow... She is on our for sale list, but maybe I will try this fall and see if we breed her if it might calm her down and let us love on her. She was very much enjoying the shade here... prime afternoon location in the girls pen. The top girls get those spots. And top meaning grouchy... sigh.

I really wanted to get a few photos of Sebastian for you this week. But that boy has been out in the far pasture every time I go looking to snap a few photos of him. Will keep working on that I know you want to see how big he is getting. Even if the boy is a dirty mess... boys!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend - we are going to see some close friends today that we haven't gotten to see in months so we are looking forward to that!

Whimsy Stamps May Release - Wedding the Odd Couple

Howdy -

Today I am back to show off another Whimsy Stamps May Release! And this one really gave me a chuckle. "Wedding the Odd Couple" by Crissy Armstrong

Is this a fun image or what? Perfect for that funny wedding or anniversary card. I colored with my Copics (colors below) and added stickles to her veil. My papers are from Kaisercraft. I sewed down the layers using a dark grey card stock for mats and the base. The sentiment comes with the image. Is perfect for the image. I added three dots for faux pearls with my Viva Decor pearl pen. Now honestly here they were little round pearls... but and dropped the card and one went flat.. so I dropped it again and made the others go flat and match. Have to make flops work for us right? Lol I then added some Martha Stewart Frond punch leaves and then three mulberry roses.

Inside the same papers.

Whimsy Stamps May Release! - Howl I Live

Howdy -

Today is a new release day for Whimsy Stamps, and there are more fabulous images with this release! For my first to play with for May's Release I went with "Howl I Live" by Crissy Armstrong. You know me and animal images!!

And these two puppies are just adorable!! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then inked the edges with Ranger Tea Dye ink. I found some papers from DCWV that had the same vintage warm feel to them. I sewed with a dark brown zig zag stitch. Like that look it had been a while since I have sewn with darker thread, and I like it. I added a silk ribbon that I colored with my Copic cuz I didn't have the right color to work with.

The sentiment comes with the image and I love this sentiment! I added three dark brown rhinestones for a little more embellishment. Love this one.. but I think I said that.

Inside the card more of the same papers.

High Hopes Stamps - With Deepest Sympathy

Howdy -

This week for High Hopes Stamps I worked with one of the new stamps "With Deepest Sympathy" - a beautiful stamp for those cards of support.

I decided to go with pinks and greens and found some papers from DCWV. This image has the new fabulous SVG files that are available to use with your cutting machine. I have a Silhouette Cameo that is so happy to be used with these great new image! I cut out the image file and then used a matching pattern paper to cut out the mat as well. Doesn't it make such a difference when they are cut out so pretty?  I colored the image with my Copics (colors below)  and then attached to the mat. My papers I sewed down with a zig zag stitch, and then added some faux pearls with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen. I left this one simple - the image is so beautiful I just didn't want to compete with it.

Inside the same papers.

Animal Crackers - Battle of the Box

Howdy -

This week we have a little battle of the box...

Hubby drinks lots of these Topo Chico waters. So we buy by the case. Well earlier in the week Gato found one of the boxes was a fabulous bed. I wasn't thrilled with the plastic and her being inside of it, but was a great photograph. So before I removed the plastic and the rest of the bottles I had to snap a photo. She has lived in this box all week.

Until Libbie found it...

Now Libbie has a bed in the back of the house and in the bedroom. But for some reason the box that Gato claimed seemed to be better. So Libbie has now also napping in the box whenever she can. But when she gets up for any reason...

Yep War of the Box... Gato will claim it again and sit in the box to make sure her original claim is controlled. Libbie was not happy here. A new case came in yesterday, I at first thought well they will both have a box now. But I am betting they still are going to argue about that first box?

We did have some worry this last week. Old Frankie has been really acting "off" and we at first thought oh no his age is getting to him and are we looking at loosing our old buddy? He wouldn't eat, wouldn't move around much and wasn't his normal friendly self and come see us when we would call him. Just not Frankie at all!! We soon found out that the one horn he had that was growing down in front of his one eye .... well he had evidently got it hooked on something and it was knocked loose and was hanging further in his eye and was painful. We put together a plan to catch and hold him and "help" the horn loose. But before we got help to do that, he knocked it completely off. I was so thankful, because having to tie him up and hold him down while "helping" him would have been stressful for him (and me) and may have caused issues with his friendliness. But no worries, he took care of things and horn is gone!

He has been back at his old self and actually acting a bit younger at heart and happier! Still the old man but feeling much better and younger for sure! Still such a handsome man!

Now while I was talking to Frankie and snapping photos of him I was photo bombed and got a big scare when Annie popped into my lens!

She is so funny... yes I had to clean my lens.. she "snorted" on it. LOL Funny girl!

Was a bit jealous of many of the goats yesterday afternoon. I was battling a horrible headache and just wanted to take a nap. The weather was gorgeous and beautiful. Sandy was really enjoying her afternoon nap.

Tried to call out to her and get her to open her eyes and sit up, but I barely got a few ear twitches of interest in getting her photo taken. That nap was just too nice!

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend - and for those in the U.S. enjoy Mother's Day -

High Hopes Stamps - Shopping Divas

Howdy -

Don't these two women look like they have hit some shopping sales? This is one of the new release stamps from High Hopes Stamps called "Shopping Divas" -

So you think they were shopping for fashion or crafts? I would have the smile for the crafts for sure! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then sewed down the pattern papers from DCWV All About Girls collection. Found a fun green dot ribbon to match and then also added the new "Strike a Pose" sentiment - love that one!

A simple card for me, but I just love all those words in the pattern paper and didn't want to add too much to take a way from it.

Inside more of the same papers -
