Howdy -

Today for Whimsy Stamps I have a little "Penguin Birthday" from artist Crissy Armstrong Collection.

Such a fun image! And so perfect for any age birthday card! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added some clear Nuvo on the balloon. I found some papers from Jellibean that were just too perfect for this little penguin! I matted each layer with dark red card stock and sewed them together.

Then a fabulous sentiment... I am in total love with the Whimsy Chipboard Elements sentiments! There are so many to choose from and the look great on the card! I colored with Copics and glued down. simple and Fun!

Whimsy Stamps - New Release - Bath Cat

Howdy -

Another new image from the new Release at Whimsy Stamps! This is Bath Cat by Crissy Armstrong.

I just adore this image... too funny! I used some Making Memories papers that I sewed together with a zig zag stitch and used a grey card stock base. The image I cut out with a Whimsy Basic Stitched Ovals Die set. Great dies! I added lots of Ranger Stickles for the bubbles... cuz bubbles need to sparkle!

A few punched leaves and then old mulberry flowers with silver brads. And for the sentiment one of my new favorites "Thanks Word and Shadow Dies set" Love this sentiment set. All thought when with this image I think it may have a bit of a sarcastic feel to it. LOL

Whismy Stamps - NEW release When Pigs Fly

Howdy -

There is a New Release at Whimsy Stamps!! And this image is just too much fun!

When Pigs Fly by Crissy Armstrong -

Now there are lots of reasons I love using Whimsy Stamps Digital images... but one of my favorite is the fact that I can print out the image with the background. Sometimes I use digital patterns paper, and sometimes I used a real photo image. And for a flying pig I really needed a big bright blue sky! My pig is being flown by three yellow birds. I colored with my Copics (colors below) And just LOVE how this came out. I sewed the image down on white card stock and then found a piece of DCWV pattern paper with a glitter pattern. And then the Whimsy Stamps Die set "Thanks Word and Shadow" Set. Adore this set of dies! Three layers that stack up perfectly and look fabulous on your card! I then added three dots of Nuvo White drops for embellishments.

This card just make me happy! And there are so many new images at Whimsy Stamps in the new release and you can find them at the Whimsy website HERE.

Howdy -

It is the first and time for a new release at Whimsy Stamps! And today I am playing with one of the totally adorable new Digital images!

This is Lamb Hugs -

Such a sweet image! I adore this soft little image, I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then I used my Marvy Snow Marker on the lamb... cuz a lamb just has to be fluffy, right? I found some papers from Paper Studio that I sewed the layers down with a zig zag stitch. For embellishment I added some Whimsy Stamps Dies from the Peony Flower Dies Set from Core'dinations cardstock that I sanded. Topped with some mulberry flowers. The sentiment is a retired Whimsy Die "Blessings".

Love this sweet image -

Howdy -

How beautiful is this image from Whimsy Stamps? Love the Crissy Armstrong "Cuddle Bunny" so pretty!

After printing the image out I colored with Copics (colors below). I cut out the image with the Whimsy Stamps Basic Stitched Ovals Set. Don't you just adore the little stitched pattern it puts around the oval? My papers are from Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe on a white card stock base. Then for the corners I used the Whimsy Stamps Doodled Die that I cut into 4 pieces for corners on the card. And for the Leaves in the bottom Whimsy Stamps Leaf Foliage 2 Dies set. with a pretty Happy Birthday Script sentiment.

Whimsy Stamps - New Release!! Crateful of Kittens

Howdy - and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New Release time at Whimsy Stamps! A Crissy Armstrong Digital "Crateful of Kittens" Love how adorable this image is!

Seriously... doesn't this image make you swoon??? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then inked the edges of the image with Rangers Distress ink. I found some older Tilda papers in my stash that have that fun spring look to them. A kraft card stock base with all the pattern papers sewn together. A bright pink dotted ribbon for a band around the middle. On the corners I used a retired Whimsy Stamps Doodled Doily Die. I like to think outside the box sometimes with dies... this is a circle shaped die that I cut to create the corners. Multi Use! Love that! For fun a couple of Whimsy Enamel Dots on the corners as well. Then for the sentiment I used one the Whimsy Chipboard Elements. I have gone nuts for these! This is the "Hello" Word Chipboard - love how it comes as two pieces I colored the shadow with a dark pink and the front piece a light green.

Whimsy Digital Stamps - Pretty Girl Happy Mail

Howdy -

Today for Whimsy Stamps I had some fun coloring up "Pretty Girl Happy Mail" Don't you love when all the mail is happy mail? Christmas time is especially wonderful to receive all those wonderful Holiday wishes!

I colored up this Pretty Girl with my Copics (colors below) and then because every winter coat and hat needs a little bling on the hat and coat I added Nuvo glitter. My background of this pretty girl is printed in with the image! I LOVE using digital images and doing this!

My pattern papers are all from My Minds Eye - I sewed down the layers with a zig zag stitch. A background die cut from Spellbinders add some pretty scrolling behind don't you think? Then for the sentiment I used the Whimsy Stamps word die "Heartfelt" from the "Sympathy Heartfelt Condolences" set. Great size to these three words in this set!

Whimsy Stamps - Scruffy Cat

Howdy -

Another new release image from Whimsy Stamps!! This is one of the new Whimsy digital images from Crissy Armstrong called "Scruffy Cat"

I ADORE this guy! he just screams I have personality! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and decided this guy just had too much going on with that grin and he needed to be on a CAS card (Clean and Simple). And with that a very simple sentiment "hello" from an older set. And then a "handstitch" Doodle around the edge. I just love this cat! And can't wait to use another of him in this new release. Look forward to that next week.

Whimsy Stamps - Christmas Mermaid

Howdy -

Now that Fall is here it is time to start preparing for Christmas right? And there are so many wonderful Christmas images at Whimsy Stamps to play with. And this image was really fun to play with as a Digital image. This is Christmas Mermaid by Crissy Armstrong...

I have been having so much fun playing with Digital images! And this Mermaid... well lets just say I tried a few oceans on her before I decided on this one! LOL I chose a free iamge and then placed her over it before printing. Printed it out then colored her with my Copics (colors below) I love how she becomes a part of the ocean! Her and her little swimming friends. Then they all had to have some Rangers Stickles added to their hats for some bling!

My pattern papers are scraps from long ago that I sewed together. I pulled out all my leaf dies and found a couple that looked like they could be under the water plants.  The green leaves are from Whimsy's Leaf Foliage 2 Die Set. And the purple is a retired die. For my sentiment at Merry Christmas -

I think she is fun.. and a great image for someone that loves a little under the sea adventures!

Whimsy Stamps - Penguin Magic

Howdy -

I had this image and card rolling around in my head for a while now.. and it didn't come out exactly as I imagined but it was my first shaker card in a million years... so I think after a few more tries I might get it right...LOL

This is Whimsy Stamps Penguin Magic - I needed a fun interactive card and this image fit perfect with my shaker card idea -

Now I colored the Crissy Armstrong image with my Copics (colors below) and then cut out the Whimsy Shaker Maker die  As I said this is my first real shaker card in many many years and I had planned these cute little stars that I have... or had... I couldn't find them anywhere in my stash. So I went with a plan "B" and cut out the clear plastic and filled the shaker card with glitter. It shakes pretty well but I wish I had those stars! I then cut out the Whimsy Word die "Magical" from the "birthday, wishes, magical" set.  I adore word dies!!! And Magical just is perfect with this little guy!

What do you want to make bet those stars fall out of no where and appear on my desk this week? LOL

I think I need to make another shaker card ... it was fun and makes a fun interactive card! You should pop over and see all the fun dies at Whimsy that you can play with!

Do just love this cute little guy or what? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then matched up with a million different papers and embellishments... Maybe it is just my mood from the insane crazy week ... but I think I needed a little CAS card. Just wish my house and everything else was clean and simple! I sewed down the image paper onto a sage green card stock and then placed on a light brown card stock base. The same brown card stock I used my Whimsy Stamp die "celebrate"

I do love my word dies!

Howdy -

Back again today with another new release image from Whimsy Stamps! And today is another new Digital image, from Crissy Armstrong "Girl and a Pumpkin" Such a beautiful Fall image for sure!

She is just so pretty! I colored her with my copics (oops... forgot to take a photo of them sorry) and then cut her out with a Spellbinders Oval ... then I matted her sort of matted. I cut out the mat from a light green card stock with the Whimsy Stamps Oval Stitched Die Set... then that fun Pumpkin paper shows through just a bit around the image. And do you love that pattern paper with this image??!! I pulled out some older corner dies for the corners of the mat and then added them on with orange brads. Wow haven't used a brad in forever! Need to keep them out on the desk and use more! Then to finish of my card the Whimsy Word die "Celebrate" - love that this set has three different words to play with "Smiles Happy Celebrate" Love them!

Whimsy Stamps - Hats off to You!

Howdy -

This week for Whimsy Digital Stamps I had some fun with a bit yee haw! LOL The new Digital Set Western Pony  by Crissy Armstrong and it has a Cowboy Hat as part of the set... I took that hat and made a congratulations card for someone!

Before I printed the hat I added the sentiment "Hats off to You!" then printed. I colored with my Copics, and then inked the edges with Ranger Distress ink. Those yummy papers are a new favorite of mine from Carta Bella Cowboy Country. Always have had a soft spot for those western papers! I sewed all the patterns to Kraft cardstock for the base. I then added two Whimsy Stamps "Leaf Foliage Set 2" - Love the selection of leaf dies.

Copic colors used -

I had lots of fun with this one this week! Now... I think that western horse is calling out to me to color it up!

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day -

Whimsy DIgital Stamps - KING LION

Howdy -

ROAR! today I have the King of the Jungle! KING LION by Crissy Armstrong and Whimsy Digital Stamps.

Isn't he just the most regal thing? I have been lovin' playing techie and working with the digital stamps... I found a free jungle photo that I opened up in my Photoshop program. Then the King Lion went into the jungle! A flat image to work with! I colored the Lion with my Copics (colors below) and then topped his nose and crown with Nuvo clear for some shiny-ness! I dug through my piles of paper to find this yellow-orange coredinations card stock that I tore to shape around the image to size it up. Then I sewed down the image on the card stock with a zig zag stitch. A Black card stock base for my card. I then pulled out those fun and fabulous Whimsy Word Dies for some Birthday Wishes. I cut them out twice once with the black card stock and then again with the yellowish. I layered them up for a shadow look.

Hope my lion made you ROAR!
