Whimsy Stamps - Birdies on Corn

Howdy -

Today I am showing a Whimsy Stamps image from Crissy Armstrong I just adore these two little birdies. They seem to very happy on their corn don't' they?

Birdies on Corn

Sweet little image - I colored with my Copics (colors below) The image seemed to match up perfect to with an older collection of Graphic 45 papers. Love the rich warm colors. I sewed down all the layers and then found some mulberry flowers to match the pattern paper. The colors weren't right for the papers so I colored a bit with my copics to match them up better, topped off with buttons. A bit of high lighting on the image with a fine tip white paint marker to finish it off.

Inside more the same paper scraps -

Hope you enjoyed my fall card with the Birdies on Corn. Had a lot of fun doing this one. To see more Whimsy Stamps images visit the store HERE.

High Hopes Stamps - Two Peas in a Pod

Howdy -

I am so in love with High Hopes Stamps new Baby Boom Release! So much cuteness I am on overload! LOL… This one really made me smile…

Two Peas in a Pod

Now I love seeing clean and simple cards that show of the image so well. But I struggle so much to make one! I bet I sat longer working on this card than any I have made in months. I just feel like I need to keep adding… more papers… flowers… sewing… more. But with this one I wanted so bad to keep it simple.

I stamped out the adorable little pair in their pea pod and colored with Copics (colors below) Then I found a scrap pink dotted paper in my stash and matched it up with a piece of Core'dinations lime green card stock that I lightly sanded around the edges. All placed on a white card stock base. I doodled around the edge with a black memento marker.

Found some Whimsy Stamps Enamel dots to add ahead of the perfect "like two Peas in a Pod" sentiment. Sort of a little dot dot dot.. ya know?

I just couldn't stand it … it needed something else in that huge white area. And sitting on my desk I found a Whimsy Little 3D Bow die and decided that might be perfect. I cut it out with the same green card stock and sanded a bit and then put it together. Love that little bow.

Now if only I can just back away from the desk and say it is done. Why is that so hard for me?

Here are the Copic colors used -

Animal Crackers - A few more in the Sunset!

Howdy -

I had so many fun photographs last week I just had to share a few more of them. I love this one of Pepita….

She is such a beautiful girl. We are so thrilled to have a girl that looks just like her Daddy Black Jack. That gorgeous black velvet nose! And those FABULOUS Long Ears!

Macie was gorgeous with the sun setting behind her…

This girl has the largest big brown eyes. Beautiful lady - And so sweet.

Victoria was one of the last to come up for attention… told her to hurry up as the sun was setting…

She is a pretty girl, not the shining white pretty girl she normally is, as she was a dirty mess. I think she had enjoyed a good roll in the dirt or possibly mud! LOL

Looks like Vera was deep in thought - Not sure how much or how intelligent a goat is in deep thought… but she was seriously in though about something.  Or Half Asleep…??

Maybe it was the talk I had with her that she needed to be a little more friendly and when it comes time end of the month to choose girls to breed, this time if chosen she stays in the pen and doesn't find a way over, under or through the fence. I have tried to breed her twice! And both times she found ways out!! I really want that grey line to find some babies!

Now one last photo I took just before typing up this weeks post - This is my baby boy Autie…

In his place of choice.. under my chair. He gets right under my chair, I can't move an inch once he gets under my computer desk and chair. So here I still sit, no movement…. listening to the constant sound of his manly little snore…. soothing in some way. Love my baby.

Hope you have a little fur baby soothing you with a little snore too. Have a wonderfully blessed weekend.

High Hopes Stamps - Willy One Eye

Howdy  -

Still pulling out Fall images from my wonderful collection of High Hopes Stamps. I don't really do many monster cards... but felt Willy One Eye was one I needed to do. (Yes Deana heard you snicker there!)

Willy One Eye is a funny little monster -

I colored up Willy with my copics (colors below). I found some papers from KaiserCraft's Bluebelle collection that I matched up with core'dinations cardstock that I sanded. A bit of zig zag stitching to hold it all together.

The image matches up perfect with the sentiment "I've got my eye on you!". Then three black buttons to match.

Inside more of the same papers -

Copic colors used -

A bit different card for me, but it did make me chuckle doing it.

Animal Crackers - Summer Sunset

Howdy,

First I will report that we are all doing well this week here on the farm. :0)

I had a little love fest with Baby Boy Sebastian one evening this week.

My baby boy isn't such a baby any more. Now he isn't a baby any more... in fact the dreaded conversation about weaning him and which pen to move him too, has been a major topic this past week. I HATE moving babies away from their Momma's but we have been watching Sebastian with his Momma Bella and honestly I think Mom is about ready for her teenager to move on. You know how trying teenage boys can be...

But seriously he is a cutie...

And a love! This guy really does adore head scratches! But he isn't going to be a happy boy when we move him away from all the ladies -

Found Irene enjoying a bit of a scratch herself!

Those T-Post make the best scratching post! She was really enjoying herself. LOL

Now these are great photos as I zoomed in a ways to get them... but I found Gabby and Fancy Pants having some sort of private conversation... and then I do believe that Miss Gabby stuck her tongue out at me!

And then were they laughing at me????

Ok, maybe it was a yawn.. But you know these ladies do have a sense of humor! Just not normally directed at me. HA!

As heading back into the house I just had to snap a photograph of the sunset -

The animals are our number one reason of loving our lives in the country... but sunsets and nature are surely a close runner up.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend - Enjoy a sunset where you are.
