A second post today, for a challenge and a sweet birthday!

A Second post today! I am trying to catch up you know. This card is for the Ismaki Card Challenge, but also for a sweet blogger friend - Annie at Ink 'n' Rubba had a birthday this week and so while doing the challenge I made sure to make it a sweet birthday card for her! She has always been so kind in her encouraging comments so "Annie, this one is for you!" Hope you had a fabulous birthday and sorry I was a little late!

The challenge sketch this week was tough for me, as I know everything has been this week. I finally got my stuff together and I actually really like how it turned out. There was a lot to this weeks challenge, and I think I got all the basics in there. I used a black card base, with the fun hot pink Amy Blue pattern paper. I stamped out my magnolia in the rain, then again on the pattern paper to cut out her coat and boots and piece them onto the image. I colored the rest in with my copic markers, highlighted her ruffle with a Sakura Souffle Puff pen, then the wings and rain with stickles. I cut it with my Circle Nestibilities, then the scalloped circle as well. I dotted the scallops with the same Souffle pen. Ok, now tell me you love those flowers! I found those at Micheal's in the bridal section. They are called Brides confetti. They came in white and off -white in the cutest little pail that I will surely alter! He he I got both colors! I used some hot pink and black striped ribbon, and then black buttons for the design. The sentiment is from The Cat's Pajamas. I love it with this particular Tilda! Hope they like it at the challenge blog... but more importantly I hope Annie likes it!

Card Info:
Stamps: Magnolia, The Cat's Pajamas
Paper: Bazzill, Amy Blue
