No seriously you really might need your sunglasses to view this card! It started as a simple fun card for the
Rubbernecker Challenge this week. The rules were to use Red, Yellow and White, and of course try and use
Rubbernecker Stamps. Well I did that!! Possibly over did it! HA! I came home last night to some new stamps in the box, Rubbernecker stamps - it was so perfect timing! So I pulled out these three ladies and inked them up right away! I colored it with a few shades of yellow and red Copic Markers. I cut them out and placed them on an embosses piece of white card stock that I rubbed lightly with yellow ink. I cut the sentiment (which is a stamp by Stampabilities) with my nestibilities, then backed with a red piece of card stock scalloped also with my nestibilities. I put a red and white ribbon along the bottom... kinda looked like a beach blanket. Once it was all together the black ink just looked blah.. almost grey. So I pulled out my Sakura Black Glaze Pen. BAM POP WOW - it sure is bold now! It is way out of my box - but I guess sometimes that is the point of challenges.
Well gotta get the day going, I am having lunch with a group of ladies I use to work with. It is nice to catch up and see old friends. Hope you have a great Tuesday!
