Just Magnolia is "CHARM"ing today!

Yes.. it is Friday and that is Just Magnolia day! And today it is all about charms! Yes Charms are all the rage and we want to see some sort of charm on your card with a Magnolia image and you can join in on the challenge and have a chance at a Simon Says Stamp $25 voucher to spend in their store!!

For my card I played with my New Pet/Animal collection again - I just love the face on this big guy - I colored the elephant with my Copics.

For my card I pulled out My Minds Eye, seemed to make the elephant pop with that bright red.
I cut out a few of the circles from one of the pattern paper and put them on the dotted one. Then I used a EK Success border punch for the striped paper. And just because I loved the flower striped paper I cut one band off and used it vertically. I doodled around the elephant - and then found a High Hopes Sentiment that was just perfect - :0)

There are two prima's stacked with a jewelry spacer, mini brad and then chain... and that chain leads down to one large set of charms!!

I know... I think I went just a bit over board on the charm theme... I have these wonderful heart charms that spaces to hang more on them. I was just dying to use them - so I pulled out some silver wire and loaded up some beads and heart slides and created one large charm - that bottom charm also has some really pretty bling!

Hope you will find the time to join in this week - charms are just plain fun to use!

So do you have fun plans for the weekend? We are BBQing but staying in that evening. I am so happy that fireworks are banned again this year - it is just way to dangerous with all the drought and very very dry dead grass.

Rosie update: She is already doing so much better - greeting us this morning, and slowly went to the the hay rack and ate this morning with everyone else. YEA!!! So now she will stay on the meds and we will feed the tar out of her to get her weight back up. I just hope that the new meds will really kick it this time!

Have a great Friday -
HUGS

Beautiful! And I don't think you went overboard with the char at all! It has that look of jelwelry from India that I have seen. It is very pretty.
I am so happy that little Rosie is doing better! I think she is going to be your very special one. The one meant to be with you because you will be so attuned to her health issues.
A Happy and Safe 4th of July!
