Two Challenges! A Spoon full of Sugar and Just Magnolias Monthly!

Hello - Sorry I am a bit late today - I am a bit under the weather, and moving really slow.

I have two challenges to show you today -

A Spoon Full of Sugar this week is a sketch by DT member Debbie, I loved working with this one! lots of layers!

I started with another BRAND NEW Sarah Kay image "Aren't you Cute" I colored with my Copics. My pattern papers are all from My Minds Eye. I love the shine, and bling to these papers. I matted each layer for the sketch with white card stock and sewed them together, then placed them down according to the sketch. My flowers are cream flowers that I sprayed with my air compressor and Copic Markers. Love them... maybe a bit bright, but I still like them. I also added 6 blings to follow the sketch.
Make sure you visit the Spoon Full of Sugar site... really wonderful again this week and another great prize.

Second Challenge today is the Just Magnolia's Monthly Challenge. This month DT member Rach challenges us to use a paper bag as a card! Now that was a real challenge for me. I looked at that bag on my desk for a couple of weeks and just didn't know how to tackle it. But then finally I jumped in and gave it a go. I started with my image. I colored the Magnolia watering can with my Copics. and then stamped the cute new little cat, I cut him out and pop dotted him on the can.

My papers are all from DCWV, and I used the same patterns all through the bag. I wanted to go really different so I distressed the edges of everything before I sewed them together. Lots of flowers, ribbon and punched leaves for the cover. The inside I did the same, but added the new

hummingbird from Magnolia and the sentiment is from a friend.

Really wonderful thought isn't it. I cut it out with my new Nesties labels.

Here you can see the bag can still be opened to put in a small gift. Maybe some stamped images?

I hope you will head over to the Just Magnolia's Monthly Challenge Blog and see just how different paper bag cards can look! And there is a prize too if you want to join in!

Sorry I am short today... really not feeling well... and well this computer screen is killing my head. And my stomach is doing flip flops... I hate being sick!

Hope you are doing much better!
HUGS and-
