Our baby Tuco

We said goodbye to Tuco Monday evening. And coming on and posting it here has been very difficult for me.

He wasn't sick, didn't act even like he didn't feel well. Normal playful and happy. Asked to go out - Hubby took all of them out, they were running and playing and in less than 60 seconds he started crying. Took Hubby just a few seconds to get back to the yard, and he was already gone. He had a aneurism is what the Vet thinks. Probably caused from his stomach flipping - rare in dogs small young dogs. But does happen. It was so fast and such a horrible shock. Can't stop crying -

The house seems so empty - he was the heart of our family.  Thought I would share my 4 favorite photos of him with you.

He was only 16 months old.

And we miss him already so much.

We were blessed to have him the 16 months that we did,  but still can't believe he is gone.

Sorry to hear about Tuco Michelle! Losing a fur baby was as hard for me as when I miscarried our middle child. They give so much love and ask so little in return. I wish you all the best and I know that is not enough to replace the emptiness you are feeling right now! {{hugs}}

Oh Michelle. I'm crying my eyes out. Tuco was always my favourite, he was so small when he was born & I would talk to his pictures, willing him to survive. Every week it was a thrill to see him growing stronger. I can't believe it & I know how you must be feeling. I'm glad he didn't suffer, but you are going to miss him so much & I will miss not seeing his happy face in your posts. I'm so very sorry, my love to you all.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Tuco - we lost an Alsatian to the same thing a few years ago - the vet operated on him for over an hour but to no avail. It's just so sad to lose them like this.

Oh, Michelle - I am so sorry! He was such a sweet, beautiful dog! It's been 4 years since we lost our Ziggy, and it still hurts. It's so hard! Just know that you gave him a great life and lots of love in his short life. :)

Oh no Michelle (and hubby), what awful news, my heart goes out to you both. I cried my eyes out at this sad sudden loss. You're so kind to let us peek into your lives giving us a little [cyber]attachment to your furry babies. Take some comfort knowing Tuco was amongst those he loved and couldnt have had a better 16 wonderful months than in your excellent care and love. Thank you for letting us know, he'll always be in your hearts.

Michelle, I am so, so sorry. This is the second time I've been here because I simply could not comment the first time and even now, I have no words to make this easier for you. Just know that I am sorry. I do know that if you have to be a dog, cat, donkey, goat or even a chicken, you want to be one of Michelle and her hub's because you will be treated like royalty.

Michelle,

I am SO sorry to hear about Tuco's passing. I've followed your blog for several years now seldom de-lurking to comment. It is so difficult to lose the ones that we love - especially our little furbabies who just weave their way into our hearts. Hopefully he has been met on the other side of the rainbow bridge by those who have gone before. He's probably romping with all his new friends and playing to his hearts content. May you have peace in the coming days as you come to terms with his passing. God Bless!!!!!!!!!!
