High Hopes Stamps - Jolly Old St. Nick

Howdy -

High Hopes Stamps today and today is a little giggle... HO HO HO! Jolly Old St. Nick here and isn't he just adorable laughing at those two cute kitties.

This Happy Santa make me smile. I colored with my Copics (colors below) Seems those two kitties like to hide in Santa's boot and hat! I found a old piece of peppermint candy pattern paper in my stash from Fiskars. It has a little shimmer to it. I added red and white card stock and sewed down all the layers with a zig zag stitch. Worked perfect with the HO HO HO sentiment.

Love how you can color the HO HO HO to match your card.  For some added embellishment I added some Viva Decor Pearl Pen to Santa's Coat and hat for a little fuzzy look.

Close up of Santa and the kitties...

Animal Crackers - Bad Peso

Howdy -

This week I went out and snapped some great photos of calm resting animals. They were enjoying the cooler weather (low 80's high 70's) and a nice breeze after a front. But one of my furry children was not calm or relaxing....

Bad Bad Bad Peso! Now his "women" were removed from his pen a couple weeks ago. And now he is back to his old Bachelor ways. Showing off his testosterone  manly ways. I mean don't you think wow that is such a smart hunky guy when you see a a man slamming his head against steel? Be still my heart...

It is a good thing he gives me such pretty babies... LOL

Not a rocket scientist... but for sure a looker!

And here is his damage.  Bad Bad Bad Peso!! These things are not cheap to replace!

Second panel he has destroyed this year.

Nice calm men...

Chachi and Hank are best buds. They are usually always together. Rare for two male goats. But they have known each other and been together all their life. Now how they are both napping on that narrow bench.. I have no clue...

Now I showed you a week or so ago Paintbrush and her daughter Olive enjoying the weather on the spool table. This week I found another of Paintbrush's daughters Rhett enjoying the top of the spool table with her daughters Louise and Thelma.

Good thing Rhett and the girls are a bit smaller than Paint and Olive.... that table is not that big. LOL but it seems to be a great place to nap in nice weather.

In the cat hut we found Momma and Scaredy Cat enjoying another bench.

These two have gotten a bit friendlier but still bolt for cover if you move too fast. Nice to see that they are sort of starting to trust us. But they were not totally happy with me when they realized I did not have can food for them on this trip. They got it later though don't worry... LOL

I do thank you all for the positive thoughts and prayers for Miss Libbie.

She is doing ok. Still bumping into things. But she is getting around and walking better. Hoping she stays leveled out and doesn't get any worse. I love this little girl so much it just kills me to think she is hurting at all. So far just not seeing well in dark places and shadows. Her pupils are always large like this and those cloudy areas seem to get smaller and larger.

Well I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and have something fun planned with friends family or furry children.

Estate sale this morning then lunch with friends. Then I am thinking an afternoon of coloring :0)

Whimsy Stamps - Alex and Her Happy Tacky Xmas

Howdy -

Today's card is one of the new Whimsy Stamps Images... and she just cracks me up! Love when an image makes me laugh while I am working with it. This is "Alex and Her Happy Tacky Xmas"

There is nothing funnier at Christmas than tacky ugly sweaters! Alex has a great one! I colored with my Copics and then cut her out with an oval Nestie. I found some Christmas papers in my scraps. I sewed down a couple patterns with zig zag stitch on green card stock. And I love the sentiment that comes with Alex is PERFECT! "Seriously?"... LOL cracks me up! Great card to send to a friend for some fun.

Inside more of the same papers.

Close up of Alex.. sorry I forgot to take a photo of the Copic colors before I went to my next card.

Seriously? ... LOL

Hope you have a wonderful day and find some time to do some coloring.

Suppose to rain more today... good day to stay in and color! :0)

High Hopes Stamps - Mini Snowman

Howdy -

Today is my High Hopes Stamps day and I had fun playing with.. I mean working with the Snowman Mini Set. This is a great fun set that you can do lots with!

A simple card that I think is really fun. So the three snowmen are stamped and then masked off then I stamped the circles so the arms and hands would hang over the circles. I colored them all with my Copics (colors below) I found some Christmas papers in my stash that I layered and then asked my sewing machine to help me with the embellishment - I sewed the layers together with a snowflake stitch! Love that. Ok it took a while. But I think it was worth it. I tried a few other embellishments on this one, but honestly the stitching and those cute little snowman faces were all I could see working here!

Same papers inside.

Animal Crackers - Enjoying the breeze

Howdy -

Enjoying a little break in the rain and the cooler breeze in the air.

I LOVE the look on Olive Oyl's face. That is true enjoyment don't you think? She is really loving that breeze. Even a little bit of smile there. LOL Paintbrush is Olive Oyl's mom. The two are always together. Adorable.

Speaking of here are our two "babies" they have learned how to jump on the top of their hut and the two had laid back and decided to rest on the roof and enjoy the breeze themselves.

These two crack me up. Thelma is the friendliest of the two and first to come up and get a head scratch. Louise though is the talker. Hubby always rolls his eyes when I carry on conversations with Louise. Oh yes we have long talks. I talk... She talks....I talk...She talks... and yes we know just what we are talking about. LOL

Chickens - well we have had some stress with the chickens. You see the number of eggs went WAY down a couple of weeks ago. Like one to nothing. Now Elenore was my steady regular gal. She went through her molting and as you can see she all beautiful again but still no eggs from her. Not sure why.

Now the Australorp's  pen - we found one very large issue was found and taken care of. A 6 foot chicken snake. But still no number of eggs. They are beautiful as well, really stunning black chickens aren't they? But now I need my eggs...

Hopefully things will pick up again soon.

And then I thought you would like to see that Libbie is doing a little better.

A little. She seems to be coping and learning how to get around. Her eyes don't seem to be nearly as cloudy as they were. That could be wishful thinking, but as long as she is getting around and still barking and my Libbie Lou... Love this girl!

Have a blessed weekend -

Whimsy Stamps - Holiday Holly Giving

Howdy -

I adore Elizabeth Bell images don't you? Well guess what... there are some great new holiday images at Whimsy for you to play with! The Little Cottage Cuties Collection from Elizabeth Bell are always fun.

This is "Holiday Holly Giving

She is beautiful isn't she? I colored her with my Copics (colors below) I went with a bit darker red and green colors to match up with the K&Company Christmas Papers. I sewed the bottom pattern paper with a straight stitch. I think I am insane sometimes. I just can't NOT sew my layers together, I twitch if I don't sew on a card! ... LOL Yes nuts. I matted her with a Spellbinders shaped nestie and then a red card stock. Then all of that is matted with the Whimsy Shapeology  Double Scallop Doily Die. Now I know you are looking at it and saying "Uh that is a rectangle not a square..." Yes it is. Don't let the square hold you back for matting your rectangle images. I cut it in half.... then I over lapped it to make it the needed size.  One of my favorite Whimsy dies has SO many more uses! I added a silk ribbon around the middle. A couple of pearls for some bling, then I found a few poinsettia flowers and leaves in my flower stash.

Inside more of the same papers with the Whimsy the Sentimentables Die "Holiday Set" Merry Christmas.

Really enjoyed making this one - Hope you enjoyed seeing it. Now make sure to visit the Whimsy Stamps New Products page and see all the great new images for the holiday season!

Have a great one! Doing a little outdoor clean up here... getting ready for more rain this coming weekend. We were lucky last weekend the Hurricane gave us nearly 3 inches of very much needed rain but spared us to much to create flooding. Already seeing some grass popping up all over the property well... if you can see it before the animals munch it! LOL

High Hopes Stamps - Winking Snowman

Howdy -

Today for High Hopes Stamps I used the new image "Winking Snowman"... isn't he just too cute!

How can you not smile when a snowman winks at you? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut him out and placed him on a blue pattern paper to have him pop a bit more. All the papers are from BoBunny's Blitzen collection. Love the darker colors with this collection. I chose a few of the pattern papers and then sewed on card stock mats and placed it all on a red card stock base. I used the fun sentiment "Have and Ice Day" A great sentiment from a winking snowman don't you agree? I added a off white ribbon and three buttons for embellishments.
