Animal Crackers - Well Loved Faces

Howdy -

Got out yesterday morning before the rain started and got a few photos of some of the "children". Black Jack was very eager to say hello to you all!!

My old man is getting a bit of grey hair on his nose.... he has earned those grey hairs though. I don't think we could even count all the children, and grandchildren and so on.... He was actually a pretty hot stud in his younger days before we made him part of our family. Now he is one of our studs and we adore him.

Speaking of adore. Scarlett or "Red" as we call her!!

This goat has more personality than just about anyone I know... and humor too! Just look at that face and you can see it! LOL

Chachi was talking too....

He is a loud talker. And handsome. Don't you agree? Really a looker!!!

Ted E. Bear ... such a formal name for such a goofball! He had found a spot under a tree and was enjoying a bit cooler weather before the rain. A little mid morning nap maybe....

Now Cocoa she was hiding....

Shhhhh... don't let her know we can see her! She thinks she is in deep hiding here... LOL

And then we have Mr. Leon.

He was screaming so loud I just had to snap a photo of him. This guy really cracks me up... he struts around and is truly KING of all his ladies. Such a handsome man too...

Well a few funny faces and good looking faces and well... loved faces.
Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend -

Whimsy Stamps - Donkey and Friends

Howdy -

This week I needed an extra special birthday card for someone special. So you know I just had to make sure and pull out one of my favorite Donkey images.

Whimsy Stamps "Donkey and Friends" by  Crissy Armstrong.

Love this Donkey... reminds me of my Diego. I colored with my Copics (colors below) I then found some papers from Prima Marketing Nature Garden collection. I sewed down all the layers and then found a piece of burlap as a band. For the sentiment I just love the Whimsy Shapeology dies "Happy Large Word die" and the "Birthday Large Word die"  Love these dies!!

Whimsy Stamps Digital Shop Grand Re-Opening!

Howdy

The long-anticipated Day is here!! Welcome to Whimsy Stamps Digital Shop Grand Re-Opening!
Whimsy has a selection of images, sentiments and papers that are now available to purchase, download and use immediately!
This is my creation using
Classic Santa - And Digital Papers - I Dream in Christmas

Love playing with digital once in a while don't you? I used my Photoshop and put Santa and the two pattern papers all together in one layer. I also then added the sentiment from the Christmas Time Sentiments (also from Whimsy!) Then I printed it out on my coloring card stock as one piece. Colored up Santa with my Copics (colors below) and then dewed it to a red card stock mat! No individual layers here! I decided that I wanted Santa to stand up so I created an easel card for him.

I printed off on of the digital papers for the back ground and matted an area for a personal note. Then I added some Rangers Stickles to Santas outfit... he has to have some sparkle to him right? LOL

Copic colors used -

Digital images are great because you can flip images, use the computer to “mask” and combine images and backgrounds, and re-size everything to suit your personal projects before you print them off. Please read the Terms Of Use with each product purchased for all the details.
Digital images are so easy to use. And they can be printed again and again, as many times as you like for your own personal crafting needs! What a bonus, especially when it comes to patterned paper - no more need to hoard a paper stash - once you have purchased and downloaded Whimsy’s Digital paper packs, you can print off your favourite sheets as many times as you like! What’s more, you can customize the size of the sheet you are printing (there’s less wasted paper that way). How about that, crafters! Surely it doesn’t get much better than that!
Look at what’s being released at Whimsy today!

Whimsy will be releasing new digital products on the first of every month, so mark your calendars and be sure to join the release party on FB where we will have games and award prizes to randomly drawn players. In fact, get on over to Facebook Party HERE  where the party has just started (Nov 1, 12 PM EST)! If you play the games, you could win something Whimsy-cal. The more you play, the greater your chances. (Exciting, right!?) But don’t leave just yet!
You have just got to see what the rest of the Whimsy Digi Designer Divas, and our Very Special Guest Zoe from Make It Crafty have created with the digi’s. We are showing off our gorgeous cards for you over the next two days, November 1st and 2nd. Go visit each blog to see what magic each Diva has cooked up. Your eyes will bug out of your head and your jaw will hit the floor. You’ve been fairly warned. Jussayin!
Thank you for stopping by! Don’t forget to join the Release Party on Facebook to get in on your chance to win Whimsy-cal prizes!! Bye for now!

Animal Crackers - Hows this for a grin?

Howdy -

Has been a beautiful week around here. A little warmer than normal for the last week of October. But pretty. The animal are all doing well... even Miss Macie I am thrilled to report. She has stayed in the large pen with the other ladies and has really improved well. We are SO Happy!!

I snapped this photo of Mr. Frankie to give you a grin -

This is his best flirting with the Ladies Face... Sexy huh? LOL!! The guy is officially retired but still has a nose for those ladies! He loves to flirt with the girls! Such a Ladies Man.. in his own mind...

Speaking of Ladies Man... Raffie is that for sure! What a stud!

Oh do so wish that it would cool off some here. Nice to have the warm weather so late. But I was really wanting to put some girls in to have babies next year. And it has still just been too hot. Had a couple of days where it looked like it was going to become fall and a little cooler weather but it fooled us.... I know I will soon be complaining that it is too cold. But that is me personally... the animals love it cooler.

And other men...  This photo cracks me up...

You would think all that concentration would be on the opposite sex... but nope. That is a serious stare for a large load of hay that "Dad" was driving in. Girls are priority... unless it is freshly cut hay!

Love the colors with these new chickens.

They were all laying well this last couple of months and now that the time change has gone into effect numbers are down again.... this weekend we will be hanging our lights I suppose.

 Moxie girl... LOVE this girl!!

I got just a tiny bit of her grin here. Hubby was chatting with her and she squinted and smiled for him. You just have to love this girl!

Now I had to photo a photo again this week of Valentine. Seems the shot last week of him slinging the box around was not a flattering view... So here is an adorable shot of that sweet boy.

Little Spoiled... Little bit of a Momma's Boy... Little bit lumpy... but LOVED A LOT!

Hope you got a smile this week again - and I hope you have a totally blessed weekend!

Whimsy Stamps - Warm Hugs Bird

Howdy -

Today I have been coloring up another new Whimsy Stamps image "Warm Hugs Bird" by Krista Heij-Barber

Just love these two birdies. I pulled out my copics to color and for some reason I went with blue... I wanted to do red, but then decided to go with non traditional blue and black for this card. I found papers from Authentique Bundle collection. I added Marvy Snow Marker for the snow on the branch and the tops to their hats.

I added some black vintage ribbon as a band and then used pop dots for the image so it had a little depth on the card. Three Viva Decor Charcoal Paint Pen dots in the corner to finish it off.

Inside the same papers.

Really enjoyed these little birds ... and there is so much more to see that is new this month at Whimsy Stamps. You can pop there quick HERE to see them all.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day - and see you tomorrow for Animal Crackers.

High Hopes Stamps - Apple Mouse Pie

Howdy -

Getting ready for the holiday season? High Hopes Stamps is ready! They have great image for all your favorite fall and winter holidays! Now first comes Halloween.... And we end the year with Christmas... but between there is THANKSGIVING! mmmm.... You just have to love a holiday that is about stopping to give thanks for all that we have and to EAT!

This image is Apple Mouse Pie... he is smart he went for the pie first!

I colored him with my copics (colors below) and then dug and found papers from My Minds Eye Lucille collection. I sewed down the layers after inking the edges with Rangers Distress Ink. A turquoise satin ribbon around as a band with a bow. Pearl adhesive embellishments in the corner. The sentiment "Script Happy Thanksgiving" is perfect! I punched it out with an EK Success punch that I inked the edges.

Inside more of the same papers.
