I love this image. I think it may be one of my favorite Sarah Kay's... I think that might be because I saw it forever on others cards from the old released Sarah Kay images, and when I found out that Stampavie was bringing it out again I was so excited.
Now for the card today, it is for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which this week is really open for anything, the only thing they ask is that you use something you got for Christmas or purchased new yourself around Christmas. Well this card has some of both.
My new items are:
The papers are from 7 gypsies, and I love them, it is a 8x8 paper stack I got just after Christmas, and I love the country colors. The Raffia is also something I got on one of those Christmas clearances I think I paid like 50 cents for a big roll of it. Then my gift item is the flourishes. Well not them exactly, but I got the new Making Memories Slice and these flourishes are cut from one of the cards. Same flourish and made it two different sizes. I think I am going to love this machine! Thanks to my MIL - she got it for me Christmas.
Other things that are on this card - I used my EK Success Retro Flower punches for the flowers, copper jewelry spacers and copper brads. Inked the edges of everything and put on dark brown card stock. The image is colored with Copic markers, and doodled around the edge.
Well sorry it is a bit short today - it is MIL shopping day and I am soooo late. I will try and do some blog surfing as soon as I get home this afternoon. Thanks so much and take some time to get inky!
