Gardeners Saturday

Well I thought since many people do their yard work on Saturdays I would show you a card I made this last week. These Rubbernecker Stamps Characters just crack me up! They are too funny. This little lady knows all the dirt! I think these images are great just to make someone smile. If you like the ones I have shown recently you should check out the website because they have tons of them, with many different subjects. Just look under the category of "Old Characters" in their stamp list.

I colored her with my copic markers, and layered her on two colors of bazzill card stock. I do not know the name of the pattern paper, as it is from my scraps. The ribbon again so proud of my recycling... came off of a prior purchase! I used three brads at the top right corner, then felt it needed more, so I used my gold gel pen and did dots of three around everything.

I also thought you might enjoy a donkey hug this morning -

The Spotted one is "Victoria's Secret" we call her Vicky, and Ellie Mae.

Vicky is from a long line of champions her daddy and grand-daddy were both state and national blue ribbon champions. She is one of my soon to be Momma's as well, she is breed with little smiling donkey at that is my "image" can't wait to see what the baby looks like!

Now Ellie Mae, sorry you can't see her face in this photo as she has amazing eyes, I will work on another photo. She stands out from all of our donkeys for one reason.... her yell. No she does not Hee Haw... she has this high pitch, long, screaming yell. Sounds like a 2 year old girl at the top of her lungs. It is hysterical. And she does it every time you drive up, or at dinner or breakfast. Especially to "Daddy" cuz he has a special bond with her. We have had a hard time breeding her, she is now 5 years old and had not had a baby yet. We are hoping this is her year. Regardless she will never be sold as hubby and I love her dearly and no matter what your mood her call brings a smile to you.

Well off to get a couple things done before I have to leave, I have two classes to teach today at my LSS. Have a great day!
