Lovin my new album!

Ok, I purchased on of those American Crafts 3-ring Scrapbook Albums, it is one that you can cover yourself. Well I have been picking up scrapbook papers and trying to decide which one I wanted to use. And just couldn't find the perfect one. Well due to the rain yesterday, I had some extra crafting time and got this idea that I would make my own cover. I pulled out some of my Magnolia Stamps and went to work. I am so loving it! It was suppose to be for my donkey pages, but now it is going to be for my nieces and nephew. I have tons scrapbook page of them and the are mixed in with the "family" album. So they will now have one of their own. Now I still need a donkey album... do you think Magnolia could read this and hear my plea to make a donkey stamp. I have the cute horse that came out this year, but I would just die for a donkey!

I layered green card stock as the "hill" on top of the Cosmo Cricket Storytime Chicken Little Cloud paper. I stamped the green with my Stamps by Judith grass stamp, over and over and over.... etc. Then added some water in the corner with blue card stock inked. I also stamped some flowers on the green, then again on white card stock, I colored the flower parts and cut them out and placed the buds on top of the green. Stamped out my Magnolia houses, and just some of my favorite little angel Magnolia Stamps, colored them all with my Copic Markers, cut everything out with my new fingertip Fiskars Knife (oh I LOVE this thing! where was it when I use to hand cut my titles!) I placed all the friends on the landscape and used Stickles on their wings for some bling. I just love it! Ok I haven't glued it down yet. I am now trying to figure out if I should seal it, or cover it in plastic. But I am lovin it!
