First the Business - This weekend is release weekend for The Greeting Farm and all the DT at Club Anya are sharing some Sneak Peeks of the new images that will be available Sunday Afternoon... We only have to show one today.. but I just couldn't decide which one to show so heck... I am gonna show you both!
I am just loving Baseball Ian.. Oh I love all the Ian's but you see I love Baseball - well to watch it.. LOL... And this little guy is just too cute for words if you ask me.
For my card - I started with a white base, layered with a blue card stock. Now I decided that this would make a great little boy's birthday card - and that to me is all kinds of outdoor toys. I used a piece of the K&Company paper from the new Cut -n- Paste Collection, using the bike for the background then my circle punch to pop out a couple of the "toys" from the pattern paper. The dots and the sentiment are also from the same paper - and the felt birthday is out of my stash. I added some fun red & white ribbon, cut Baseball Ian out (BTW he is colored with Copics)and well I think it is just plain fun!
And how perfect is Easter Anya?? Oh my she is so cute - Look at the expression on her face! She is loving Easter Egg hunting isn't she? Or is she hiding? Whatever... she is cute! She is colored with my Copics as well, the matted and sewed down.
The base is a yellow card stock and then all the pattern papers are a gorgeous shimmery papers from Reminisce. Wonderful Easter colors and fun too. I matted each piece and sewed down. The sentiment is wonderful, I purchased it to go with my Happy Hoppers Stamps, but I thought it just went well to not use it. I then added some Michael's Bridal Flowers with jewelry spacers and mini brads.
You just have to check out the Club Anya Blog and see some of the other DT work.. from there you can click to see all the great sneak peeks!
OK ITS IS DONKEY / LIBBIE TIME!
First I just have to warn you the photos today are not great... it was cloudy, cold and drizzling - yuck! I didn't spend much time out there.. and in fact Raffie and Patti didn't want to come out at all! Smart Donkeys!
The girls here Victoria, Lacey and Ellie Mae were just making their way out of the barn - really didn't want to but I think the new round bales we put in the pens were calling them... You can see here that both Victoria and Lacey are pretty far along.. I think Vicky (white/black spot) is racing to be our first Momma this year!
Cocoa (my standard girl) was already out eating her breakfast. She is very skittish.. caution is her middle name. I think she was not treated well before we purchased her - But she loves to have her photo taken. She almost poses for me - It is hard to see here but her fur is all puffed up to protect her from the cold wind and rain.
Now this pen... they got a new bale last night too... Hmmm I took this early this morning, but that is the same place I left them last night... must be a really good bale huh?
Libbie was having a hard time posing and sitting still for me this morning. You see Gato (the cat) was playing with a ball behind me - and it was killing Libbie to not run over there and get it from her. Look at that face!!
She is starting to get into that teenage look, in fact this week one of her ears fell. I don't know if they are both going to do it, or if as she gets bigger and out of this stage it will perk back up, but it does give her a cute expression. Her ears have grown, as has her legs, she eats like a horse.. or donkey.. so I think there are going to be a lot of changes coming. But no matter what stage she is pretty cute. I tell her she is a very wasteful dog... she just waste cute all the time!
Whew... told you it was gonna be a long one! Come back early in the morning cuz Club Anya is having a blog hop.. guess what the image is and your name goes in the hat for a free image. Plus it is also Magnolia Vs. Stampavie day - hint.. another longer post.
HUGS and have a great Saturday!

If that is Ellie Mae in the middle of the "frenzy" at hay bale, I agree she will be the first. Poor thing looks huge. I love my dogs with all my heart, but got to admit Libby is the cutest thing in the world.
I think it would be great if the image was a donkey of course.
fabby cards you made Michelle with the new Ian and Anya images - they are both so cute! and talking of cute, that Libby is one for sure! looking at the donkey pics I was trying to figure out if that was a really really big bale of hay, or your donkeys were very very small! hugs, annie x
