Gardening Sunday - Things are getting HOT!

Howdy -
Well the weather is really starting warm up for the 1st of June today... but the Garden is really heating up too!

The Jalapeno's are just about ready to start picking

Hubby is looking forward to those - Me... I am standing and waiting for the Tomatoes to start turning red!!!

And LOOK!!

These are some of the grape sized tomatoes- Hubby said one more day then I can pick that one!! It will be the first of the year.

And look at the difference one week and good rain does for the watermelons this week -

The are just the cutest. Hubby swears you can stand out there and see them growing. I think he might have been in the heat too long yesterday... LOL  But man they are growing fast!

Picked the first green beans yesterday - Thinking this afternoon we will just have to cook them up for dinner. And also having squash and Zucchini ... we are always having Squash and Zucchini.. LOL LOTS to eat.. And we now approach people - "Hi How are You? Would you like some Squash?"

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday - I will be back later with the Whimsy June Release -
HUGS and

Oh my, your garden looks great. We are still waiting for the 1st ANYTHING. We are so far behind you we do not even have squash blooms yet. :( Soon enough and we will be wanting to give it away, too! Prolific buggers aren't they?

Thanks for the weekly update, I ♥ it. I have two pumpkins plants and one Zuchhini plant. At the time we are building a high bed for our vegetables. But you know we are still in the beginning of our garden. We do not even have grass... but wait! Since today we have a few pieces of grass :)

I can't believe the size of those watermelons!! Did you replace those teeny ones from last week with bigger ones just for the photo?? ;-))) Everything looks wonderful & I'm jealous, the only things growing in my garden are weeds. Enjoy that first tomato.
