First I want to introduce you to our newest family member! Meet Louisiana "Louie" - Cutie huh? Jill went into labor one day this week... it was SO glad we were home. Hubby was actually out showing off his new Hay barn to the neighbor. When I looked out the back window and saw that Jilly was in labor in the middle of the pen. I flew out to the pen, Jilly's baby was breech. But I got out there, and helped him out a bit, and made sure he was breathing... yep ... he is tiny but healthy! We named him in honor of the neighbor that was here... from Louisiana...
Totally a cutie! He is just adorable. I know they all are :0) But Louie is so tiny...
His Mom Jilly is small too... that is one reason I was so worried about her first birthing. But after it all.. she has been a wonderful Mom. A bit confused at how to get around the pen and eat and keep her eye on him. But she is starting to figure out that "Mom's Call" and he knows his Moms voice and comes running!
Just as I was taking the photo of Jilly and Louie I noticed that everyone was watching me take the photos -
Lots of Goats.. I know... but all these boys will have to go as soon they are of age. Man won't that be a hard day!!
Fric and Frac ... I love them - Real fun boys! They bounce everywhere! I am going to visit a neighbor that raises the same goats. I want to see if she is willing to do a swap for a boy for a boy. Get some new genes in our pool... for all of Frankie's daughters -
Bo and Daisy these two are shadows of their older 1/2 brothers Fric and Frac. And yes... they have that bouncing down well too.. Here they had just figured out how to jump and get up on top of the barn. Very proud moment here! The high roof... the sound it makes when they jump all over the roof... over looking the yard... and the jumping off is a total adventure! Then we do it all over again! How is this for a morning sun photo?
Love the morning sun rays, coming through the trees and over the little girls while they eat their breakfast!
Then I looked down the fence line - no need for trimming the trees here! They are trimmed up daily - They love new leaves! LOL Then our "Spot" pen - Raffie and his ladies. Here Patti, Lacey and Vickie. Breakfast time here as well... and very important meal of the day for these pregnant ladies.
I was getting some profile photos of Yolanda - got a couple of great ones for her file. But I thought this one was funny... it was almost as if she said.. hold on Mom.. got to scratch!!! And then she went right back to her profile pose!
Went in for some puppy photos... Autie just was still a bit tired.....
Getting photos of the puppies have been a chore! They are not easy to snap, they are always on the move! Here is Puppy One... "Precious" - she is so calm and loving.
Puppy Two - Sweetie, she is the more active, VERY active one. She is also the loudest of the two. She likes her new found bark, and she adores her little growl. Heck... I think I do too at this stage, it is just so darn cute! Now ask me again in a couple of weeks... and that may change ;0)
Ok, I have too many photos this week. But I had to show you how the barn is coming along. Hubby has really been working hard on our new hay barn. It isn't far from being done. Well this main part done. All it needs now is the two sliding doors, and the metal around the bottom. Then he will start on the attached cover areas. Each of the 4 sides, will have large covered areas for tractors and donkey shade. It is going to be wonderful!
Now I have taken lots of space and your time with lots of photos. :0) I really enjoyed it - hope you did too! I only took about 60 photos - so this wasn't bad to narrow down too.
Have a great weekend! HUGS and-

Great photos Michelle, your 'family' are beautiful, and it must be so hard to part from any of them. I'm such a softy, I can't even go into a pet store for birdseed, as you never know what I may come out with...lol..
