My THIRD Donkey Card - Karen's Doodles!

Here is my THIRD Donkey Card!!
I just have to tell you about this image... as the first cards started coming in after my accident... this donkey was showing up - even drugged and a bit loopy I freaked over it. Where did it come from? I hadn't seen it before and he looks so much like my first baby Diego!!! I had to have it, but was in no shape to follow up and try and find it. Then after a couple of weeks I saw it online! OH MY it was made for me???? I was nearly in tears - and so happy to have found it. So I have to send out a Thank you to Karen's Doodles!!!  This image has given lots of wonderful smiles!

For my card I colored with my Copics, and then used K&Company pattern papers. I liked the red white and blue colors with the mat card stock. I sewed down with zig zag stitching. Red gingham ribbon - with a Stampin UP sentiment matted with a Fiskar's scallop punch.

Hope you like, I had fun with this one - it is my Diego! Gotta run... going to get my hair cut, the past two months it has gotten a bit out of control!!

HUGS and -

Michelle, this is a fabulous card. I love the green eyes on the donkey, just too cute and you did a wonderful job coloring him. We at Karen's Doodles are thrilled that you liked the image Karen drew for you and are glad you are on the road to recovery. Hugs

THIS IS SO FREAKIN CUTE!!! I'm so glad you found the origin. And I can tell from your three cards post accident that your accident has not diminished your "eye" for putting a cute card together. But we all know that your talent cannot be held back!! Hope everything goes well with the next Dr appt and you can get back to hot showers and a more "normal" life. Have you thought about a beauty shop appointment as a treat? Keep up the good work and the recovery!

This card is just wonderful. What a neat donkey! Did you get my message about the free digi image of the zedonk on Elizabeth's site? I left it yesterday I think, in comments. So glad you are making cards again - and doing so beautifully!
