I really think that my kitty thinks she is a Super Model! One she loves to get in my photo tent and I think she actually likes and poses for photographs. Two she eats in little tiny portions numerous times a day. Three her best friend is a dog. and - Four she is a party animal! She loves to hang from my curtains, no literally! Well you all are probably tired of Gato photos but these two from this morning were too good to not share -
I do have a card for today too! I am loving the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. I have to say before this past few weeks, I have made maybe one snow card. Really snow is one thing that here in Texas snow is a rare thing. At my age I have only seen measurable snow here 2 or 3 times. But I will say I have had fun making them this week. And Charlie with his snowballs was the perfect chance to "play" with some snow! I colored him with my Copics and then cut him out leaving a base at the bottom for more snow. I then used fabric puff paint and carefully colored in the snow balls leaving the black lines showing, didn't want them to just look like a pile of snow. Put that aside to dry.
Then went to work on the sketch from this weeks challenge. This week the sketch was designed by Heather and it is a great one. I went through my stash of papers and found a handful of papers that all matched and had a snow pattern. I don't know who the maker is as they are not marked, but I think they may be Cloud 9 as I remember getting a pack of the winter collection a year or so ago. I decided to go with white card stock as the base, with a background of a dark teal blue. Followed the sketch with my pattern papers, and found two ribbons that I liked and stacked them. Each one did not look right alone, but when I put them together they seemed perfect. I matted Charlie with the same card stocks. Doodled the edge with a dot and snowflake pattern, and then used two large silver pieces as my embellishments on the corner, I think they look like snowflakes. Used white brads for the corners and ta da! I like it... I think it is the snow.... Fun huh!
Now I also have to Congratulate Andrea! She emailed me and I do believe she is excited that she won! I again thank each of you for helping me celebrate! I'll start thinking now what I will do next time, cuz this one may be a hard one to top! I mean really me giving away a whole bunch of donkeys was super special!
Gotta get going, Hubby is gone for an hour or so and if I hurry I can do some blog surfing before he gets back and wants me to stand, hold, get or do... it is a pain being the "helper" in his projects, but it is my job what can I say.
HUGS and I hope you all have a great Thursday and remember... get inky!

oh that cat! and what a fabby card you made with Charlie and the snowballs. We don't get snow very often here in Cornwall, too close to the sea, although I can remember some winters when I was a little girl we had lots of snow - must be the global warming! hugs, annie x
