A Pink and Blue Christmas Mouse?

My Stampavie Christmas DT kit came yesterday!!!! Hubby even recognized the importance of the box coming from France! Well of course last night I had to ink up one and use it, I placed them all out and decided that the Rachelle Anne Miller Christmas Mouse was the perfect one to start with. One he is just adorable, and two that ornament was the perfect excuse to use one of the colored Glazes I got this weekend. Told you yesterday I was going to be using these a lot!

Ok, so the mouse is colored with my Copics. I left the ornament white.... and moved on to the rest card, going through the stacks of the Christmas paper I found these two patterns from Paper Studio. Ok, different Christmas colors for me, but fun and thought I would try it. The card base is a light blue to match the blue dots and the sky in the image. I matted the pattern paper with red card stock, stitched the edges with white gel pen and red around the edges of the card. I cut the image with Nestibilities and stitched it to. It needed more... so I found a red satin ribbon and tied a knot and placed it across the bottom. Ok, a pink and blue Christmas Card needs bling right? So I found some pastel shades of sparkles and ran them across the ribbon. Now it is time for the ornament... I colored the top with Spica Gold Glitter Pen, the the ornament is filled in with Stencil Collections Glazed Dimensions dark pink. It looked better when it was only one layer of it. But the cat ran through.... no she didn't step on it.... I grabbed it so she wouldn't mess it up, and in grabbing it I hit it against a piece of paper.... so a second layer was needed to fix my mess up. So what do you think of my Pink and Blue Christmas Mouse?

I also want to shout out a huge Congrats to my Sister!!! She just opened her own online store! Ok.... so it isn't full of paper, and crafty things, darn now that would be really cool. But she has opened up a embroidery shop! And she makes some great and fun things. I have to say I am really lucky that I get some of the "sample products" to wear... here are the fronts of a couple of my latest new T-shirts

Now here is even better.... she said that anyone that clicks to her store through my blog will get a "DONKEY DISCOUNT"! Isn't that a riot! You don't even have to put in the discount it is automatic! Just click the link here or on my side bar and you get 10% off.... she has other items as well these are just the kind that grab my attention. Go ahead and visit her store see what grabs your attention G-Town Designs - Good Luck Melanie... Love Ya!
Ok, I am off now .... Long list again, and a pile of laundry that even the cat is scared to climb! Hope you have a great Wednesday and get some time to get inky!

Michelle- great card! I hope your sis does well. Maybe she should make a t-shirt that includes NOT doing laundry and then you won't have to do that either!
