A Spoon of Sparkle & Bling.. you may need your shades here!

This week A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge Blog would love to see some Sparkle and Bling on your creations - ok check... lots of sparkle and bling on my card! LOL And there is aa fab prize this week which has very kindly been donated by Lana From Dotty do crafts!

I apologize that my card ended up with a really Springy look... I think is was so warm when I was working on it last week and with the fun of the Hanglar girl in her Bumble Bee suit.. it just went that direction.
Starting with the Hanglar girl colored with my Copics, I wanted it to look like the entire costume was blinking... so I covered it with Glazed Dimensions, while still wet I sprinkled ultra fine yellow and green glitter over it. Letting it sit a few minutes (the glaze dries pretty quick... considering how thick it is) I tapped off all of the excess glitter... so check off the sparkle! I then went to look for paper to go with my image, sitting right in front of my was the new Debbie Mumm/JoAnn's Glitter Pad and the paper just called to me as it has glitter to it as well and it was perfect colors. I chose three card stocks to match, for the base and the mats, the pink I ran through the Martha Stewart floral scallop border punch... I don't know if I like this one or not. Really didn't leave much of an embossed flower.. I even inked it trying to show it off more. I ran two pieces of ribbon stacked, don't you just love the green one with the butterflies on it? Then found the 5 flower blings to add across it. Springy yes.. Sparkly yes.. Bling yes.. And I love it! Not very timely for the fall and winter, but hey it warms ya up! And if you can imagine it... it sparkles more in person!
Now make sure to run over to A Spoon Full of Sugar and take a look at all of the other DT work... GORGEOUS STUFF!!! Then again I love bling!
Well it is MIL shopping day, yes the day my Mother-in-Law and I do our "errands" and shopping. And today I think we are going to try and go do early voting. I hear the lines are really long! Got to find some warmer clothes though... pull out my winter stuff! It was 36 degrees here this morning... remember Sunday I had a BBQ and it was over 80???? Gotta love Texas!
Hope you have a great Tuesday... Get Inky!

Love it- she is dressed as a bee- so it is truly Halloween. Plus, here in Michigan it could look like spring on the 31st for all we know!
