Hello and Happy Monday - this week on the Magnolia Vs. Stampavie Challenge we had a bit of delay. I hope that things are up and running now because my post is scheduled, and I don't want to go "live" before the challenge.
I really wanted to do some different things with this sketch. I get in the habit of doing square all the time and love when I get reminded to do 5x7's.... this sketch did just that for me.
The pattern papers are My Minds Eye Laundry Line, 
yummy and glittery. I found a peach colored card stock for the base and for the band across the middle. I made two or three different bands for the middle and decided I liked this one best. Punched on both sides with one of Martha Stewart's border punches. I dotted the edges of it with white gel pen, and then added a small satin ribbon in the same shades of the papers.

Lelo Designs, and is called "Hippo Birthday" isn't that a cute name! Colored with my Copics, and then I added two metal corner brads, they really look pink here... they match better in person.
I distressed the edges of all the layers, I don't do that very often, wowow what a mess... the puppy was rolling in paper fuzz! Had to grab her up quick and clean it up and off of my. Wow messy, but I like the look! LOL
Monday again... the start of another week - I got lots of crafting done yesterday, actually a day or two ahead, that is really rare for me lately! Did you get to craft Sunday to? That seems to be a great day for me to get stuff done, especially in the evening.
