Alota Molly Moo Cows...

Today's card shows off one of the cows from the Alota Rubber Stamps from the Molly Moo Cows set. And I am using this card for this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge, which is Autumn Haze. To make a card with an Autumn theme.
Well a Farmer Cow in a corn field is autumn don't you think? I started off with a Kraft Paper card base.
I then picked two pieces of Coordination's paper that matched the K&Company K-Ology papers that I thought had a fall/autumn feel to them. Love the Coordination's paper and the look it gets when sanded. I cut to size and the rounded the corners to match the card base and sanded away!

I colored Molly Moo with my Copics, rounded the corners and matted to match the card. I also made a orange mat for the striped paper to make it pop a bit more off the other pattern paper. The sentiment is also from the set, love it! I then found three flowers in my stash that matched, used a glittered brad and done. Was actually pretty fast and I love how it came out.
Well Hurricane Ike is still scary. The reports are now saying that it is turning more to the left once it hits landfall. If that happens we will not get the "eye". We are not putting our guard down just yet... we still we get tropical strength winds and lots of rain. I think most of these weather people are just guessing. This thing can do whatever it wants and can change anytime. Weather can really be scary. We are still preparing today, I would rather make sure everything is safe and done everything we can and nothing happen to sit and my house and watch everything fall apart. Guess that is where the saying "Better Safe than Sorry" comes from huh? Off to get the day going hope you have a great day planned and have some fun planned -

GREAT! Thanks for enabling me to want to spend MORE money on stamps. UGH! My stamp diet just isn't doing to well right now. :) I am a fanatic when it comes to all things cow related. Even my e-mail address is cow related: moosisk. How funny is that?! Well, gotta go the cows are calling over at ALotastamps. LOL
