Ouch... I should know better!

At my age I know better... especially when I have done this before! Hubby asked me to come out and help him with the addition he is working on our house. Just for a minute, then I can come right back in.

Remember when I said that the sun came out yesterday morning? Well I was only going out for just a minute to help hold a beam until he attached it. 4 hours later I came in. I couldn't take anymore.. I was a lobster!! I really kept saying I needed to go in and put lotion on, and then would think well I'll just help with one more board. So here I sit, very carefully. Actually it isn't as bad this morning as I thought I would be. But last night I was miserable. So much so, here is the shocker, I didn't feel like making anything! I just sat and watched the Olympics. I never just sit and watch TV... I craft when I watch TV.

So today you are seeing a card I started a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't happy with how it was turning out so I put it aside. I love the image from Alota Rubberstamps, but wasn't happy on the placement of things. But decided to show it anyway, cuz I was happy with the "string" tied around it. How cute is it? Not hard to do at all. Now I should say how I punched holes in the paper and threaded it around and then tied that pretty little knot. But I can't fib... It is a rub-on. Yep a rub on from Basic Grey. How funny it is? It looks so real. For the sentiment I used a Paper Studio stamp and my Stampin Up Word Window Punch. My image is colored with Copics and Sakura Glaze pens. I love the dragon fly brad... hubby said it was hard to see.
Ok... off to put lotion on and then get to work. Have a great Thursday... and stay out of the sun unless you are wearing sunscreen! ;)
HUGS and-

oh you poor thing! I hope the lotion is doing the trick and you can relax a little - and enjoy your craft again. I really did think that you had threaded cotton around your card - and was amazed to find out it's a rub-on! annie x
