Libbie just loves being outside, and the donkeys really do wonder just what that little "dust ball" is exactly, it isn't a rabbit, it isn't a opossum, it isn't a dog is it? I am sure as she grows up and they get to know her (through a fence, never together) they will get use to her and she will be a part of the family. But right now she is still a bit odd to them.

Double up for the Magnolia Vs. Stampavie Challenge!
Now for me... I went a bit further than the two stamps, hope that was ok, but for my project... it just needed sooooo much more!
I created a gift pail, with 4 different Stampavie Leere Aldrich images, 2 different Magnolia images to create a scene around the pail. I started with my Copics and my air system, to create the sky, grass, road and brick path. Then stamped all of the different images right on top of the background colors. (I had placed everything out so I knew exactly where I was putting everything. The car is actually stamped and cut out then placed onto the road, and because my paper was just about an inch short of reaching around, that is where I used the large tree from Magnolia to fill the gap. ( which I just noticed you can't see in any of my photos.. LOL sorry)
Now two of my images from Stampavie is actually on the top of the can for some added fun, and filler. I then put ribbon on the top and bottom, some matching ribbons for frills on the handle, and then some white and light blue flower, spacers and mini brads. I love how it turned out - And this whole project was a recycled can... so that was even better. This can is one of the many that I have gotten Michael's Bridal Flowers in. Love that they are shorter and wider than most you can purchase, and they make the flowers a really great deal when you figure in using the pail.
I hope you will take a look at this weeks Magnolia Vs. Stampavie Challenge this week - it may be a bit more "trouble" to put together, but I bet you will love how it turns out!
Hope you all have a great Sunday - Hubby and I have a long chore list today, including loving on Donkeys - while cleaning the pens. And lots of doggie time with Bonnie and Libbie... and of course some scratching on Gato too - LOL!

A Scene for Cute Card Challenge
How fun is it to make a scene - well that is this weeks challenge on Cute Card!
This was a great time to use another one of Alota Rubber Stamps. This is "Girlfriend Birgit", she is also named for one of the Alota Dt's. Just love all those shopping bags! For my scene I used Alota's "Park, Pond" Background. Love this one you can make it almost any season you would like. Mine is melting - Winter is ending but there is still a bit of snow on the ground. Ok so Birgit isn't shopping here in Texas...
Everything is colored with my Copics, now those shopping bags were just a bit plain... so I used my Rubber Stampede stumps and stamped some flowers and leaves on them.
For my card I wanted to use up some of the scraps from my card the other day, don't want to waste any of my new Making Memories Chloe's Closet papers, or the flocked dotted DCWV. I used the Martha Stewarts Scallop Double Dots and created a lace edge, the ribbon is part of the MM Chloe's Closet ribbon set. In inked the edges of everything with a light green ink. Because the background stamp is so large you really don't need much pattern papers. Now I love that metal clip! It too is an embellishment from MM Chloe's Closet, thought that bird was fun for the park.
The sentiment is also from Alota Rubber Stamps, and a friend that loves to shop is my kind of friend!
I am trying to get Libbie a Vet appointment, just for a check up and to get her baby shots all lined up... and also cuz my Vet is just dying to meet her! The last couple of days I have let her run around the house - you really have to be careful, she is like a fur ball under your feet. And I have no idea where she finds things and pulls them out to chew on. And oh my... she loves my laundry piles. I think she drug every sock out and all over the house. I'd pick them all up and come around the corner and they were back again. Too cute!
It is Friday - you planning your weekend? We are working around the property this weekend. Luckily the weather is suppose to be great, so hopefully we will get lots done. Hope you have fun planned and not work!

Alota - New Girls... ME and Bonnie
I can not even tell you how much this stamp means to me. I love all of my Donkeys stamps, but I think this one will touch my heart forever. Helene, from Alota Rubber Stamps, did it again - she has brought out an adorable collection of stamps - many of them are named for her DT, how sweet is she to that. But I am sorry the stamp named for me, is the most special. This is "Michelle and Bonnie" - how touching is that? Especially now, Bonnie is still "ok", but we are now starting to see some changes, and see that her Cancer is starting to effect her body more.
No sad right now, cuz this stamp makes me happy - Would make me happier if I really looked that cute! LOL! I just wish my legs looked that skinny... and hmm that is what ankles are suppose to look like - and sorry - but you won't ever see me in heels like that... I am a flats girl - I don't do well on little post under me.
Well when the new stamps arrived I just had to color it up first. Sorry to all of the other Lady DT's- their images are wonderful too. Well sitting new on my desk was the new paper pack from Memories - Sabrina - ooooohhhh this collection is just so pretttttttyyyy! I love brown and pink, but this black and pink is really gorgeous! And they have so many wonderful embellishments that match as well.
I started out with a black card stock as my base, I picked four patterns from the collection, and then colored my image (or Me and Bonnie) with my Copic Markers and high lighted with white gel pen. I doodled the edges of the image with little hearts and wavy lines. I cut down my four patterns for the card, punched the bottom of the pink dot with Martha's little Valentine border punch, then sewed the edges of each piece. I changed from Black thread to light pink on the one black piece. The ribbon is one from the collection, as is the flowers that I have stacked and topped with a jewelry spacer and one of the mini heart brads also called Sabrina. The sentiment is also from Alota Rubber Stamps is "Forever Friends" and is part of a great collection of universal words. Then to finish everything off I just had to gel pen stitch the edge of the black card.
I finished off the inside of the card as well.... but forgot to take the photo and now my camera is dead and is charging - but I did do the inside, really.
Man this week is flying by! Can you believe it is already Thursday? Wow! Today is more cleaning and Puppy patrol, Libbie and Gato, the Cat, really are bonding, in reality tearing it up and chasing each other through the house - it is really cute and funny to watch. Bonnie could care less about the puppy and just ignores her completely. Good thing is the puppy is keeping Gato entertained, Bonnie really isn't up to a lot of playing this week. Well better get my Wii done, so I can do some blog visiting and then get busy - Hope you all have a wonderful day -

A Spoon full of "Baby" -
Alrighty - 24 hours late, but better late than never! I had to make this weeks Spoon full of Sugar no matter what - One I got some new papers that were just perfect for the "Baby" theme, and Two my husbands niece had a baby! MIL needed a card to send with her gift - so I had to make this card! I love how it came out -
This Stampavie Rachelle Anne Miller Image "Play Time" is one of my favorite baby images, it is just too cute and fun and is perfect for the subject of baby. I colored with my copics, and then cut out with my Spellbinders Nestibilities Petite Ovals, the mat is the same as the card base. Now do you love those big polka dots they are embossed and feel almost flocked it is from DCWV and is part of the Nana's Nursery set. I used my Martha Stewart Valentine Border punch and scrap white card stock to make the heart border, hearts are ok for baby cards too right? Of course cuz we love babies so much!
And because of the heart I thought it was ok to punch out the Papertrey Ink Sentiment "Heaven Sent" with my Fiskars Heart Squeeze Punch. For the flowers I used EK Success Retro Flowers. Now all of the flower and the inside paper.. oh yes, I did the inside toooooo! All of these are a new paper stack that I got from Michael's, called Chloe's Closet from Making Memories. And wow.. you should see all the really cool embellishments that they make to go with this paper! Ok, so I inked the edges of everything with a light brown, sewed parts with straight and zig-zag stitches. Flowers are attached with jewelry spacers and mini button brads.
I hope MIL likes it, and I apologize for being late with this one - I have some fabulous DT buddies at Spoon Full of Sugar - they were so nice about me freaking out about being late. So make sure to visit the Spoon site and see how they made some GORGEOUS baby cards!
today - well I am hoping to put everything back into my brand new Utility Room - and get lots of laundry done. That while keeping an eye on Libbie - taking her out a million times. She has had very few accidents in her crate... she is so cute, she doesn't like to "do wrong" in there and wants to go out side to do her business, how cute is that at just over 7 weeks! Now my next thing is her and the cat.... They really love playing, and running all over the house. Gato has been so great with her careful but wearing her out so she sleeps a while!
Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

I am starting to get ink withdrawal!
Now that means that I have no card today for A Spoon Full of Sugar. I feel so down and sad. I hope to get it done later today and will get it posted tomorrow. Please do visit the other more organized DT members cards at the challenge - A great Theme this week - BABY!
Well I will go ahead and post another one of my Leere Aldrich cards that I made a while back.
This image is called "Sisters" - now if only me and my sister looked that cute! Sorry sis... but true huh?
The image is colored with Copics, and high lighted with white gel pen, and spica glitter pens. The edges are doodled, including the sentiment.. yes I have shown that sentiment quite a bit. Told you I love it! It is part of the Sentiment B collection by Leere Aldrich. I wanted this card to have a luxurious feel, so my ribbon is velour... mmmm velour. And I was really lucky to have found some Prima Flowers in the same color.... I was thinking I may have to spray white ones with my Copic Air system, but these were just too perfect. Now it is hard to tell from the photo, but the mini brads are the exact same color as the green in the pattern paper. To give some depth to the papers I inked the edges of everything with a dark brown ink before putting it all together. I am just loving these images! And there are more to ink and color still!
Thanks so much for visiting and I do hope to get back to normal, or as normal as I get. I really wonder how sane it was to re-do the our utility room at the exact same time as getting a puppy. A puppy no bigger than a small bunny! But we seem to have lived through it, and now I can start cleaning up. The puppy, Libbie, definitely has held up our work.. we just can't stop playing with her! Too cute! My "utility room" is all over the house and is now able to be put into the new home we have built! It is so nice to have a real room - with my washer and dryer in place, shelves for storage (something this house has had no room for!), all clean and with new walls and new floor!
Hope you have a fun Tuesday planned... me MIL errands, home to start cleaning, and then me and my ink and images have a date!

I am so excited... looky here!
Ok, I have been published... well once - but now this is super exciting! Stampavie asked me a couple of months ago to create a few cards for an advertisement that they were planning for Paper Crafts Magazine!!! (This ad is in the current issue that is now out on the shelves March/April) The ad is for the new Leere Aldrich images, which I absolutely adore... so that made it really fun - What do you think of the ad? Cute huh?
The cards were super fun to make -
The first one is called "Going Places". Do you love the convertible, who can resist a red convertible!
Colored with my Copics and then used silver adhesive dots as the hub caps. The papers are all Basic Grey I think - maybe My Minds Eye.. heck it has been almost two months. I used a pink card stock as the base, with a dark brown card stock as a mat. I sewed with a zig zag stitch. I cut one of the flourishes out of one of the pattern papers out and then matted with the dark brown.
The sentiment is also from Leere Aldrich, matted on green then brown. With a Green Satin ribbon.
I love the stitching on the card - I think it adds so much texture, and detail you just can't get with paper and ink... shock horror oh my can't believe I said that! But I do love the stitching. Now all I have to do is figure out how I can get one of those convertibles myself! Wonder if it can pull a donkey trailer?
The second card is just so girlie... I used DCWV with my Copics, including the back ground - Baby Girl Nana Nursery Glitter papers, lots of them! All on a hot pink card stock base. I actually did the sewing on them individually before I put the card together - would have been just to thick to sew as one. I colored the fun image "Bathing Beauty"
looks like velvet in person, I cut with my Spellbinders Nestibilities circle, then the dotted pattern paper with a scallop circle, sewed the edge really slow to keep it as a circle. LOL. Sewing in a circle is a challenge for me! There are three ribbons stacked that both seemed to match so well. I punched two flowers with a EK Success retro flower centered with large yellow brads, I high lighted with white gel pen. The sentiment again is also from Leere Aldrich - perfect for the image, part of the Sentiment B collection.
There are so many fun images to color with Leere Aldrich... I can't wait to make my next card!
Run over to Stampavie and see for yourself how fun they all are!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, we have had lots of Puppy time, Libbie is just too cute, and my I really have had to be careful, she is so tiny! You should see her trying to chase Bonnie across the backyard! Bonnie takes 6 or 7 steps to Libbies oh I don't know 200!
Well better get breakfast, do my Wii so I can do some blog surfing! I missed a lot this weekend so I want to catch up -

Sunday tied in Bows -
"Do anything from an atc, altered art project, handmade gift, card, tag etc. as long as it has Bows on, at least 1 bow that you have handmade. There is tons of ways you can change the look of bows, a flat bow , a big bouncy bow with lots of layers, simple little bow etc i think you get the drift now?"
I love big flowing bows, there are some blogs I visit where there bows just make me sit and stare at them trying to figure out how they make them so pretty! Me.. I do good to tie a knot most of the time. I really worked hard on this bow, and it still looks sad and flat to me, but it is technically a bow! I started by using one of the newer Magnolia images, don't you just love that these are larger? Colored with my Copics, I tried to use the same colors as one of my favorite pattern papers from K&Company. I have to really think hard when using this paper as I don't ever want to run out of this paper stack, called "Classic K". I used my new Martha Stewart small scalloped heart punch across the bottom of one of the patterns, then the gorgeous rose pattern, I found a darker piece in the stack and used it as mats behind the image and the wonderful sentiment, love this one from Rubber Stampede. I sewed everything down with either blanket stitches or straight stitches.
Now that bow... the ribbon is a Martha Stewart satin ribbon, tied over and over and over again until I settled on this one. And just because it had to have them, I stacked some Prima flowers, with jewelry spacers and mini brads.
I hope you will run over and check out all of the other DT work! There are some spectacular bows to see!
Me.. I am off to Sunday Breakfast, then home to make a cake for my nieces Birthday party - then off to the party then home to play with Libbie, Bonnie and Gato -
Hope you have a great Sunday -
