Animal Crackers - 2019 Year in Review

Howdy -

On the last Saturday of the year I always take time to review the blessings of the year. I suppose the best blessings are the babies. We have had three bouncing babies this year...

Penelope was our first - a surprise blessing the end of February. A total surprise to Hubby... me I Loved telling him I told you so! A beautiful little girl -

She really is gorgeous just like her Mommy Abigail and her very young teenage Dad Domino .. he he he.

Then our other two blessing were the twins the boys Alvin Junior and Chipmunk. These two are seriously sweet boys.

Both have their Mommy Thelma and their Daddy Alvin's personality - loving and friendly!

All our "children" are blessings in our lives. Smiles daily with them.

Frankie ALWAYS has grins for us and gives us an abundance of smiles. Seriously you are grinning right?

The same with Mr. Alvin. - 2019 was our first full year with him, and he gave us the adorable boys and lots of loving and joy.

A sweet face, that loves attention!

The three stooges are the connection to everyone. They roam the property to check on each and all the animals. They take their responsibility very seriously to watch over their family... well after breakfast...

Autie gave us a scare this year. My baby boy. He is doing so much better now and as long as we watch his diet very closely he seems to be fine.

So happy he came through it all and is currently snoring at my feet.

Libbie too has had us worrying this year as well.

She has learned to get around with her blindness and still have control of all that she reigns over. Our worry was her horrible skin allergies. I think finally we may have found a food that helps her instead of causing issues. I hope..

We really are blessed to have the life to have all our fur babies and I do hope you enjoyed visiting them 2019 and will continue to visit us 2020 ... babies are coming!!!!

Happy New Year!

High Hopes Stamps - Hopeful Tink

Howdy -

Isn't he cute? This is Hopeful Tink from High Hopes Stamps.

Now adorable here.. coloring him up... but in person within a nose.. uh no. A relative of this cutie decided to visit under our house this week. Stinky!! But back to the sweet little guy here. I colored with my Copics and then added some Viva Decor sparkle on the hat. Cuz every Santa hat needs some magical sparkle. I found some papers from DCWV and sewed all the layers together with a zig zag stitch. Matted with bright red card stock. Then I used the adorable High Hopes Stamps "Dreams Come True"

Copic colors used -

Love all the fun images from High Hopes Stamps for the Christmas season! You can pop over HERE and see them all! They just make you happy!

Animal Crackers - Uh Oh...

Howdy -

Uh oh... here they come and they think I have treats... I'm in trouble when they find out I don't.

They are funny when they run though. They waddle.. guess I shouldn't laugh I am sure IF I ran I would more than waddle! I am sorry girls just here to snap photos...

These two are my "twins" from different Moms... Thelma and Lizzie.

The only way I can tell these two apart is if I see them straight on. That is Thelma in the lead and then Lizzie is following. It is amazing how much these ladies look alike. Just that slight difference in the white on their forehead. Born months apart and different Mommy's and they are almost identical.

And then my true twin baby boys... Chipmunk "Chippy" and Alvin Junior. "Junior" Why do they grow up so fast? I want them to stay little and cute. Ok they are still cute, but little would be nice.

They are so sweet! Wish I could get better photos of them, but they want attention and move so fast they are at me in seconds.

The boys.. or men.. They were coming for a peppermint treat. And we all know how much they love that!

Tails going, ears back... I will be the first to get one!! Miguel was so serious about getting his. And yes, he got his first. LOL

Now when I tell Hubby you need to put up your clean clothes out of the dining room chair... he needs to start paying attention.

You see Libbie LOVES to lay on clothes. Usually it is dirty clothes when Hubby doesn't get them to the hamper. Not that he does that often.. eyes rolling here. But here Libbie has pulled off a few pieces, Autie has joined her, and for some reason Autie drug up his house shoes just in case he needs them. Autie loves shoes. Never chews on them, but likes to lick the bottom of them and lay with them. Yes I know nasty licking them. But dogs are dogs I suppose. And now now another load of laundry to do...

I hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend - Laundry free and lots of hugs from furry friends!

High Hopes Stamps - Joey Snowy

Howdy -

Today I would like you to meet "Joey Snowy" from High Hopes Stamps! Isn't he just a precious little guy?!

He just makes you happy right? I colored with Copics (colors below) and then I decided to take a different route of color combo... I had out blues, but then decided this guy was cheerful and bright so went bright with my colors! LOL I think he likes it! I matted with red card stock and used a brown card stock base. The sentiment is perfect for my "Joey Snowy" it is called "Snowman Greeting"

A fun cheerful little Christmas card - You like the bright and cheerful color combo?

Animal Crackers - Will She Stop in Time???

Howdy -

OH my ... Will She Stop in Time??? Gotta Love Juliet's enthusiasm when she see's you in her pen... but...

Now you can't tell by this photo but she is coming full steam towards me. She is no fly weight... So do you run, or brace. I braced and held my breath, she stopped but bumped me pretty good. It is all in love.. she just gets so excited to be the first one to greet you when you are out for a visit. Funny... but a bit scary! LOL

Olive Oyl was just chillin in the shade watching and grinning... Do you think she was hoping for the run in to me or not?

I think she knew Juliet wouldn't totally run me down... I hope...

Oh my then I found Darlene totally flirting with Raffie...BIG TIME! She may be nearly 28 years old but still a cougar in her own mind! LOL

She thinks she is still one of the young girls in the pen!

Speaking of one of our old Ladies ...

This is one of the Rhode Island Reds.. our older ladies... Still a beauty but well... egg production has gone way down the last few months. Spring we will have to fill in the coops with some young chicks here.

Hubby came home with a "new" donkey a little while back. He found a fabulous OLD concrete donkey at an estate sale.

Looks like I officially have a collection of concrete donkeys too... Love them.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned - family, friends and lots of furry friends!
Have a blessed day -

High Hopes Stamps - Christmas Treats

Howdy -

Today for High Hopes Stamps an adorable Christmas Image ... "Christmas Treat". How can you not love Santa with a puppy?

I know our doggies are high on my treat list for Christmas! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut out the image with a circle die cut. I inked the edges with Ranger Distress ink to make it pop a bit more. Pattern papers from Cloud 9 seemed fun with the whimsical trees. And I love the glitter to the paper. The sentiment is from High Hopes Stamps "Good Friends" is perfect with this image! Then three vintage buttons on the corner for embellishments.
