High Hopes Stamps - Miss Liberty and Belle

Howdy -

This week for High Hopes Stamps I was looking through my boxes of High Hopes Stamps.. yes. I love my High Hopes Stamps and have more than a few.... LOL. I found one stamp that I realized I had never inked before. Insert Shocked Face here! How did I ever not ink this pretty little girl? And now is the perfect time to get those 4th of July cards made.

This is Miss Liberty and Belle -

Isn't she just the most little patriotic gal you have ever seen? I colored with my Copics (colors below). I used a scrap of the red dot I used last week, with a Blue Core'dinations cardstock. I punched out a loop punch from Martha Stewart for a border.

The sentiment is also a High Hopes Stamp - "God Bless America" Love this sentiment! Then I added a few sparkle enamel dots for a bit of bling.

I hope you enjoyed my little patriotic card -

Animal Crackers - You're going to just have to stick with me...

Howdy -

Well...  we have a few reasons this week you are going to just have to stick with me and enjoy a bit more Domino this week...

You see I have been working quite a few hours this week and got home yesterday evening to go out and snap photos for today - one - I was worn out. All day outside in 94 degree heat.. not my norm. and I and wiped out. Two - I honestly was going to show a few donkey photos today since Miss Abigail hasn't released her captive babies yet. But we had a little water leak during the day and I had on new shoes and would have had to go all the way back to the house to put on some water boots. And not ruin my new shoes, So Nope.. to tired to go for the boots.  Three - As I said Abigail is still pregnant - very very wide pregnant so only one adored little baby to love on and play with and snap cute photos of...

Here is a little love to Momma first off -

I know! I can hear you awe.... He is so adorable! He really has stolen our hearts as well as all the other ladies in the pen. Even Abigail has warmed up to him and is sweet on him.

Our big boy accomplishment this week is the bench! We are barely 2 weeks old and he has mastered jumping up onto the bench.

Now I am sorry it is a bit grainy of a photo... but if I had walked any closer he would have jumped down to start the run run run chase me play game. But it is cute too.

I love this little guy so much! He is so funny. Ok they are all adorable and all funny and cute when little like this, but I think cuz it has been a while since we had a baby goat and this guy is so fun then so cuddly he seems so special to us. He is..

Now the big bench has been mastered, but the igloo huts.. nope that one may be a bit longer until we can check that off our list of doing -

He tries and tries... until he is too worn out and gives up for a while. Won't be too long but a bit longer I am sure. Don't grow up too fast baby boy!

Here is my really big girl. Now I lightly complain that she hasn't given birth this week. But honestly I have a couple more days of long days of work, and am ok if she will wait until I am home to be there for the delivery.

Hubby describes her milk bag as a basket ball... so she is really close. Praying for a smooth easy delivery for this first time Mom... and striking babies that are as gorgeous as she is.

Wanted to update about Olive Oyl.

She lost her baby a few weeks ago after a long long delivery. I was really concerned that she would develop an infection or have some sort of effects from it all. But she seems to be doing fabulous. She as slimmed down, milk bag went away (that caused a little uncomfortable issues the first few days) And she is eating and doing great. Her favorite thing right now seems to being a "kid sitter" for Sweet Pea and watch over Domino and sleep with Domino if Mom has gone to get a bite to eat or move around. She is a great goat - love her to pieces and will have to see how long before we try again to breed her. But for now she can play with Domino -

Hope you got a smile and didn't mind so much cuteness with more Domino a second week.. You and I both know you will be seeing lots of little Domino in the future... LOL

Have a blessed weekend -

Whimsy Stamps - Hillside Lighthouse

Howdy -

Today for Whimsy Stamps I pulled out the DoveArt Hillside Lighthouse. A Calm and stunning image for a nice thoughtful card.  I just adore these Dove Art image so much detail!

These image I think lend themselves to a simple card - So I stick to a simple layout. I found two more scrap papers that I sewed down with a zig zag stitch, on a dark card stock base. I colored with my copics (colors below) The sentiment is from the Whimsy collection  Painted Sayings - love how large and useful this set is!

High Hopes Stamps - Rosie's Ride

Howdy -

Fun image from High Hopes Stamps - Rosie's Ride. Isn't she adorable? Or is it that little goat that has me grinning? :0)

I found some older scraps in my box and sewed down the layers - And attached to a cream colored base. Love the red dots paper with those roses. The sentiment "Thanks!" is a favorite of my High Hopes Stamps.

I colored Rosie and her goat with my Copics (colors below)

Love these colors, they just make me smile so happy! Then add roses and a goat and that just makes it extra special .

Animal Crackers - It's all about Domino!!

Howdy -

This week it is all about Domino! I told you earlier in the week we finally have a bouncing baby here. Sweet Pea last weekend gave birth to an absolutely adorable little boy - We named him Domino....

Peeking to say hello..

This little guy has seriously stolen our hearts! Now we play a little bit of the chase game sometimes to pick him up.. he loves to run! But once we have him he snuggles, chews on your shirt and loves to be scratched on.

He is very handsome~

Right now his favorite thing is the raised platform... took him a couple of days to get the jump to actually get on it, but now he is the master! The coolest thing is that it make thumping noises when you bounce on it. Not like that quiet dirt.

I took about 60 photos while out taking these yesterday... many look like this ...

So thankful for digital cameras!

Then after 10-15 minutes of hard playing.. STOP! TIME OUT!

Milk break! A minute or two of nutrients and we are ready to go again! Sweet Pea is a wonderful Mom. So proud of her. She had a text book birth, cleaned him up and has been taking care of him fabulously. Now I have seen she is having a bit of a hard time "controlling" him. He doesn't seem to mind very well when she tells him something. I told her that is just little boys... it isn't a reflection on her at all. Right?

He talks a bit - and oh my that little noise makes you just melt!

I think he will grow in a bit of Peso's grey areas as he gets older. He has a bit on his chest, his ears and on the side of his face.

And what a cute side ...

Ok there's not a not cute side! I was out the other morning and even called Hubby to tell him how cute he is when he stops to tinkle.. I know I am a total dork. Just been so long since I had a baby to bounce around! And this one is going to be spoiled rotten. He will keep me occupied until we have a few more... then they all will be spoiled! Hubby has "decided" that we are going to probably "fix" Domino when he is old enough and that way he can stay as a pet. (insert big softy heart here) Love him! But then again Hubby wants to keep all the babies. :0)

Update - got a call that Gabby and Sonia are doing well at their new home. Loving the grass and getting lots of carrots and lovin' - Missing them terribly, but happy they have a family that is going to spoil them.

Hope you got a little happiness and a smile today - I think I will go out and do more loving while it is still not so hot out... Once it gets hot (been 98 here this week) Domino heads into the hut and doesn't come out much until it cools down in the evening. Me too..

Whimsy Stamps - Bunny Cuddles

Howdy -

How about a bit of Bunny Cuddles today?  This sweet little Bunny image from Whimsy Stamps is by Lee Holland and just gives you that warm hug feeling doesn't it?

Now I first started to make a 'love' card for like an Anniversary, but then saw the sentiment from Whimsy that just seemed to work perfectly as well. I colored with my copics (colors below) and then loosely cut it out and matted with the same dark brown card stock as the base. I found a pattern paper from SEI and then a shimmering pink metallic card stock.

I first used the new Whimsy Straight Edger Die set - love that!  Just gives that punched hint of the hearts at the base of the shimmering paper. Pulled out one of my favorite Whimsy dies Doodled doily die as a background to the image. A few dots of Viva Decor Pearl Pen in the corners, oh .. after sewing down my layers. Then for the sentiment that great Happy for you from the Clearly Bold Statements set - if you haven't taken a look at this set.. you must it is so fun!

High Hopes Stamps - It's A Boy!

Howdy -

High Hopes Stamps today and for my card today I had a little inspiration... but that is for later. :0)

This stamp is a totally adorable image and a must have the perfect baby card! This is "Swaddled Baby Boy"

This little guy is such a cutie... I love paper piecing with this one. That blanket just screams out to match up to the pattern paper. So decided to only use on piece of pattern paper and make it pop sort of. A cream card stock, and the piece of green dot pattern paper for the card. Then I stamped the image on the pattern paper and cut out the blanket and glued it to the image. I sewed the image down with a zig zat stitch. For the corners I punched out a corner punch and then cut it to fit inwards in the card. Heart shaped pearls for the corners.

The sentiment is High Hopes Stamps "It a Boy"  is perfect with that little heart that I just had to add a little pink color too. Simple card, but some images just need to stay the focus - don't you think?

Copic colors used -

Now how about that little teaser at the start? Well IT'S A BOY!
Sweet Pea gave us an absolutely adorable little boy this week! He is such a sweetie!! And a cuddler big time!!

I would like you to meet "Domino"  -

Can't wait to share lots of photos of this guy! He is already stole out hearts!

Have a blessed day -

Animal Crackers - He could have brought me...

Howdy -

Well Hubby could have brought me.. flowers, candy, craft supplies, something furry or feathered... but nope... he gave me his illness! His bug he had! Oh.. now the main thing to understand is that according to him... "As a man he was much sicker than me and handled it well because a man is stronger... " Oh MY ! He was such a baby! Honestly though for a "cold" this has been the worst I have had and remember in forever. The aches and pains with it and the fact that I have had no energy to move much less do anything. So he was a baby... but man this was or is a doozy of a bug! But I am now I think on the mend to a degree so it is time to get some things done.

First off we are going to have to say good bye to a couple of our girls. Very Very Very sadly as these two girls are favorites around here. But we had a call for a Mother's Day gift for a wife and for his small son to raise up and love on. And I know these two girls are going to be loved and have a nice home. I will probably tear up big time though when they leave tomorrow.

Sonia and Gabby are moving on.

I didn't get a photo this week of Gabby this week.. but I happened to get one of Sonia -

Dad spoiled the girls with part of a bale of fresh hay - So attention was not their main focus. We are going to miss Sonia and Gabby horribly.. but we have to share the love I suppose.

Now Lacey was really trying hard to say.. "LOOK HOW CUTE I AM!"

That nose through the fence pose is a favorite - They know they melt my heart with this pose. Such a sweet lady...

Then I find Patti.. I may be a bit older lady but I can pull off this cute pose too!!

Yes Patti and even if a bit older you are just as cute! A bit pushy as many of you girls are... but simply adorable! And yes.. I leaned down and kissed both of those sweet spotted noses!

Found this a fun shot...

Now shhhhh don't tell Juliet she isn't just like her BFF's! She was suppose to be a friend for our standard Valentine, but that didn't work out because Val was afraid of Juliet.. big baby boy. So Juliet has ended up being all the girls "BIG" sister. And she loves her gals.

Irene looks around and says normally I would be pushing forward for some attention, but I will miss out on this bite of hay!

Funny girl... I understand eat first.. I would too.

Ellie Mae was keeping a very close watch on Moxie, who was wandering in and out of the girls pen. She knows to stay a good distance from the donkeys -

And Ellie Mae is one that is always on guard for any dog... she knows Moxie is family.. but she is still a dog so she needs to be watched. Ellie you are a good watch donkey... just keep it more to coyotes ok?

One other sad note I have to mention - Olive Oyl went into labor this week. And after staying with her a long while we decided this was not a normal birth.. with a little help she delivered a still born boy. So sad.. but now all turns to making sure Olive is ok. So far she is doing really well and I think is going to be ok. We were so looking forward to her first baby - but most important is our girl Olive being ok. So we keep a close watch - Now if one of those other pregnant gals will give a bouncing healthy baby that would really cheer me up. Just because I count down the days of pregnancy from the day we put them in with the boys - that doesn't mean that was the very day they actually got bred and it took.. so I leave things to God and try and stay calm and not freak - sigh.. not easy.

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend -

Whimsy Stamps - DoveArt Great Blue Heron

Howdy

Today I have another new DoveArt image from Whimsy Stamps - Lovin' these DoveArt stamps... This is Great Blue Heron

Stunning bird right? We love when Heron's visit our pond. They like our pond we seem to have nice little frogs that really like. LOL I colored with my Copics (colors below) I decided to stay simple with this guy. I found a pattern paper in my scraps that the color worked and it is a simple pattern background. A white card stock base, the pattern paper and then I cut the image a bit larger. I added 10 Whimsy stamps enamel dots. I have a thing for these enamel dots.. sigh.

Copic colors used -

High Hopes Stamps - Leapin' Larry Hoppy Birthday

Howdy -

This week for High Hopes Stamps I pulled out an older favorite for a great fun Birthday card - This is Leapin' Larry... isn't he an energetic little guy?

Wish I had that jump in me! I colored with my Copics (colors below) Then I cut Larry out with a Whimsy Stitched Oval Die. Then for the sentiment the perfect for Larry "Open Hoppy Birthday" that I colored with the same copics. Green card stock for the base and then two pieces of pattern paper from Making Memories.

For a little added fun I cut out Larry's arm from the paper and popped it up above the sentiment, like he is sort of waving. Hi Larry!

Copic colors used -
