Howdy -
Spent the afternoon Thursday out and enjoying the fur babies! First up we went to check on the Lady Donkeys... Bella is VERY WIDE!!
I am so looking forward to a new baby donkey to hug love and pet! Darlene our oldest Matriarch is Bella's best friend. They are never far apart. Hope she is ok sharing Bella with a new baby!
Of course Miss Juliet was right in the middle of all attention! LOL Love those BIG Brown Eyes! So expressive!
Juliet and Pepita both were really pushing "Dad" for attention, Good thing Dad has two hands and can love on both at the same time!
The baby boys are doing great. Getting SO BIG! I call them little Knot heads right now... those horns are really starting to show now!
They are now very interested in the girls. Here all three were trying to show off for Abigail.. one of the hot older chicks in the pen! LOL
When they are showing off and smell a girl.. they love to roll their lip up and grin for everyone to see. Luna is doing pretty good at this traditional sign of the season.
Too cute isn't he?
Snapped a cute shot of Mother and Son.
It is just so handy to use Mom's horns to scratch that hard to reach itch! LOL
Now a really COOL shot! While Hubby and I were outside we kept hearing a couple of Hawks circling above us. They have been really chatting a lot the last few days. The Season you know... These two were either courting or probably just married as they were more like screaming at each other! HA!
Beautiful aren't they. Love watching them as long as they leave my chickens and baby goats alone. Usually they keep to themselves and are good.
Hope you have something wonderful planned for the weekend, hug a fur baby!

Inside the card more of the same papers -

Animal Crackers - Handsome isn't he?
Howdy -
Another beautiful week of weather here. Great for snapping photographs. We have been spending some time this week with the men goats. They are Loving their new pen out in front of the new house. Still hoping this spring we can build them some lounging and tables to climb on, but they are happy for now. And Handsome...
Hank is still a love! He is very friendly and loves attention. He is a talker and likes to chat while you are visiting. He was making little noises while I was snapping and you can see his pretty little white teeth. :0) He is the king of the pen of men. Rightly so...
Alex is for sure the most timid of the men. And I love those big bold eyes.
Not sure what he has rubbed his bottom lip on but he keeps doing it and rubbing that little raw spot. I have tried to ask him... nothing. I have tried to watch and still haven't come up with it. Maybe soon I will catch him in the act and find a way to stop it.
Now you can't see Charles "Chuck" face here but I decided to post this one cuz this dude has one LONG set of horns! Wowser!
Some set of horns huh? Little worn and dings showing battle scars from those domination head banging sessions. But still so very impressive!
Chickens have been doing their job and we have been getting an ok supply of eggs each day. We for sure will be adding more chickens this spring as we have lost so many the last year. Doris has be laying off and on and lately she has become very broody... (she won't get off the nest) Pretty girl isn't she?
And not happy that I opened the coop door to snap a photograph of her. Now we have tried something for a first time....
We gathered up some of Eleanore's eggs since she is the only chicken with a "husband'. And we got a small incubator and have tried to see if we can raise some new chicks ourselves. Well it isn't looking great for them. We have tried to candle them to see how they are doing and can't see anything. Still a little more than a week before time is up.. but not feeling positive right now.
Miss Moxie has been really loving the weather and has been enjoying running and spending time near all the pens.
So in love with that face! She is such a very very sweet little girl. Would bring her in the house to live in a heartbeat. But one Libbie wouldn't stand for it, and two I don't think Moxie would be happy. She has lived out on the farm since she was born and she loves being able to keep watch on all her furry friends on the farm and run and run and run.
Hope you enjoyed this week and got a smile, the babies are all doing great and getting bigger each day. OH... and guess what!!! Remember about 11 months ago we had a fence knocked down the Lady Donkeys spent a night with our Man Black Jack. Wellllllllll looking like one of the Ladies, Bella just happened to be in season that night and is looking like we may have a baby donkey in the next 2-4 weeks!! Oh I am so hoping we are right!!!

High Hopes Stamps - Waiting for Heifer
Howdy -
Had some fun with another great High Hopes Stamp - Bossie's Bad Mood is this one, and I just love matching her up with the sentiment "Waiting For Heifer". I know I get grumpy when I wait for something a long time! LOL
I colored with my Copics (colors below) masking off the cow and adding the High Hopes "Bale O'Hay" image for her to be sitting on, and then found some sweet papers from Authentique's Legacy collection. Inking the edges of all the papers with Rangers Distress Ink Tea Dye, and the sewing all the layers together. A band of vintage ribbon around the middle. Martha Stewart Frond and branch punches and lots of mulberry roses. I inked the leaves, branches and roses a little to give them a little more aged look.
Inside the same papers.
Copic colors used -
Don't forget about the High Hopes Sale going on... you know you NEED some new stamps!
Hope you have a wonderful blessed day!

Animal Crackers - Beautiful Sunshine
Howdy -
The weather has been gorgeous here the past few days and that makes it fun to get out and enjoy the "kids". The three new kids are typical boys, and they are starting to become really independent and many little boys do they are in that no cuddling stage and not wanting to come to me and let me hold and love on them. I still can get Luna and Centavo to come to me and let me rub on them, but boy that Uno is a macho little guy and really is a little nut. LOL
I love going out and sitting in the pen while Hubby feeds breakfast. Everyone is busy running from each piece of hay to make sure no one is getting a better piece than the last. The boys are really into chewing now and have learned the difference between plain coastal hay and alfalfa... we all prefer the richer alfalfa days you know.
Now climbing onto breakfast is just as great as eating it. Luna was leaning back here and getting ready to run across a large flake... until Mom grunted and he went back to her that is...
Uno eats close to his Mom as well. Heck his Momma Chloe is probably the lead girl in the pen at this time. She tells everyone how it will be. And when it comes to breakfast, once she stakes out her flake NO ONE but her kid is allowed to eat with her. So Uno gets filled up pretty fast as he isn't haven't to run all around grabbing a piece here and there like everyone else.
They are growing up so fast! Look at those little knots on his head!! Yep Horns are already coming in. Can't believe how much they have grown.
Got some photographs a little while back I wanted to show and not miss out. Love this view of Jazz.
This girl gives all new meaning to "Long Ears" She is such a sweet lady. And LOVES attention. And look at Miss Sonia in the background. Man that girl gets long shaggy hair... Sometimes she has a hard time loosing it all before it gets hot here and we have to shear her or brush it out to help cool her off. Hope this year she looses more on her own, less stressful that way then I just do a little clean up on her.
Funny view of Sonia here...
Was trying to show her "bangs" ... makes her look like she has hardly no legs at all. She is one of the little ladies, but this shot really makes her look tiny! LOL
Hope you enjoyed again this week. Nice weather does make for nicer photographs. And shows off that beautiful blue sky and all our blessed green grass we have had this winter.
Have a wonderful weekend

Centavo likes running all around, his Momma is a first time Mom and doesn't really do the noises to keep him close like some of the more protective Moms do. So he has lots of freedom. He wants to be scratched on and loved on but also knows they other boys run around so here he would run up to me... say a few things to me... let me pet his nose and then run off to jump in the hay with the others. He is such a beautiful color and that pink nose and lips just kill me.
Here Luna is making sure that the alfalfa just under Mom was the best for him to taste.Gracie likes Luna to stick close and I don't think he can eat much closer than this.

Howdy -
Day three of the February New Release for Whimsy Stamps! Today I am sharing "Honey Little Spring Helper" by Elisabeth Bell's Little Cottage Cuties Collection. Don't you just swoon over Elisabeth Bell images?
I colored with Copics (colors below) And matched up with papers from Bo Bunny's Li' Miss Collection. I sewed down the pattern papers on to inked cream card stock, and light green card stock. I took one of the striped pattern papers and created a border with the Double Scallop Die also from Whimsy. I love this border die it is so versatile. Then the Whimsy Vine Die Set for something for thos mulberry roses to grown on. And then one more Whimsy Die "hello" My tip for the day is don't stress when your papers or embellishments don't match up with your papers. My Hello sentiment and those roses... they were cream colored to start off. I used one of my Copics and colored them to match! Makes your supplies go so much farther!

High Hopes Stamps - Hare Raising Experience
Howdy -
A little fun today with some bunnies! This High Hopes Stamp is Busy Mama. I think she makes a great Mothers Day card image... or just a Mom needed a friendly note card!
Isn't this "Busy Mama" adorable! Love the little ones hiding around their mom. I colored with my Copics (colors below) and found some pretty spring papers from Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection. I sewed down the layers, added a polka dot ribbon with borders of Martha Stewart's scalloped heart border punch on both sides of the ribbon.
The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Hare Raising" and is perfect with this image! I added some Martha Stewart Frond punches and then a few mulberry roses.
Inside of the card more of the same papers -
And the Copic colors used -
Really a fun image!
Hope you enjoyed and to see more and take advantage of a great sale!
Have a wonderfully blessed day!
