Animal Crackers - The one first to the top wins!

While sitting in the goat pen this week the "girls" as we call them. Scarlett and Rhett like to climb on you... especially if you sit down. Then it is a huge race. The one that can get to the top wins! And most of the time Scarlett is the winner - the girl loves to climb! And Dad the mountain is a great place to climb!
Love this photo... These girls are so friendly. They are more like dogs than goats. And it is so funny to sit and play with them in the pen. Hopefully now the other two girls we kept Daisy and Belle will learn to be just as friendly.

Oh and I thought that I would show you that Louie is doing just fine, yes we had him cut this week. Now he is really just a pet. We are happy. And he is happy to be back with his Mommy, Jill. This is their spot during the day. They love the shade from the Goat Table. Yes, this is their table, it is strictly for them to climb on, sleep on, lounge under and just enjoy. OH I guess from time to time if clean enough we sit at it and let goats climb on us....

Cali was watching me come into the pen to do some loving. Just as I snapped it, she took off trotting to me. They all did - couldn't get any more photos in the girls pen, all noses and pushing.

Gabby is still doing well. She is getting bigger and bigger and more adorable each day. Totally makes me grin from ear to ear to hear her grunt and run over to get her daily hugs. Who wouldn't love hugs from this one!
Speaking of adorable. How about this shot I got of Macie and Sonia. They are both just gorgeous!

Here Ramon was trying to get Sonia to play. She will get to running with him from time to time, but always on her terms when she is ready. We don't want to let the boy run the show now do we Sonia? LOL

I took this one - I thought you might like to see the view out my side craft room window. I love when I can see everyone and those babies out my window. All thought I end up staring out the window instead of crafting... and then I loose my Mojo... oh well from time to time with views like this I am ok with that.

Hope you enjoyed today, have a great Saturday!

Just Magnolia & Hanglar - Bev's Sketch

Hi - Today at the Just Magnolia and & Hanglar Challenge there is a great sketch from Bev! I had lots of fun with this sketch, was simple but left room to fill in whatever you personally like. Me... flowers :0)
So this week I went through that old stack of "shared" Hangar images that I have been hoarding for so long. I love this one, I think it is one of their older images. I colored with my Copics going with the colors from the My Minds Eye Honey Cake stack. Love these papers, all though I will admit, orange, light blue and pink... not a first choice color combo for me. But I do love it!

I stacked up lots of the pattern papers, sewed them together following the sketch. And then used a piece of orange netting for the band across the middle. Then added a few mulberry roses, pearl hat pins, Leaf punches from a punch I found at a local scrapbook store ages ago.. all it is marked is Punch Bunch. Then a few Martha Stewart branch punches. My sentiment is a ticket from Tim Holtz.
Of course I had to stickles the wings :0)

Thought I would share where I have been getting my newer 6x6 pads... probably shouldn't cuz once more people start buying there they will run out sooner and I may not get mine :0) - But seriously I have been thrilled with this place and the wonderful prices and shipping they offer.  So here is the secret... shhh....   www.scrapace.com

Maybe you already know them? You sign up, then every morning there is a daily email for you - they only have one item or collection per day - then it is done. And the prices are wonderful! And they have so many really awesome things! I have gone nuts for their collections of 6x6 paper pads. Gotten a bunch and they usually only cost about 12.00-15.00 for three different ones. Divide that out and that is a good price - and they ship pretty darn fast!  But every day is different, one day paper pads, the next ribbon, then some days thickers, and even some of the newer Spellbinders from time to time! So sign up.... but don't blame me ok?

Well - Gotta run - Hubby is fishing today, so the morning Animal rounds is on me... Have a great day - see you tomorrow for Animal Crackers!

Hedgehog Reading Desk Lamp

I love this Letraset Safmat stuff!! LOL really – soon I will be decorating all surfaces of my house. Right now I have been in the lamp mode. This is my second. After making the first I found this cute desk lamp at Target for only $5.99…. I had to buy it and decorate it right?
Simple project, took less than an hour to do.

First you need to find an image – I chose Stampavie’s Tina Wenke “Hedgehog Reading” – perfect for a desk lamp. I colored with my ProMarkers (colors listed below)

Then gather up your supplies
Your colored image – desk lamp and Safmat – and whatever else you want to decorate with.
Scan in or photo your colored image. Then Size to the object you at attaching it to. For my shade I needed it to be 3.5 inches tall – And print out on a sheet of Safmat.

Cut out and stick down – pretty simple huh?

Then you can decorate with what ever you like – me I found some cute flower ribbon to attach around the top.

I kept it simple – small desk lamp so I didn’t want to over do it.
Looks really cool with the light on..

So simple – So Cute! Childs name – school mascot whatever could be put on this lamp and be very personal for not much money. Safmat really does add so much, so easy!
Hope you like my desk lamp… me I am not sure where this one will go. Wonder if one of my nieces would like it on their desk?
Have a wonderful Day -

Me and My Space - Started going through my unused stamps - You want them?

I have started to look through my boxes and boxes of stamps. I have lots in CD cases in decorative boxes.
These two boxes are FULL of stamps in CD's - primarily my older first stamps. Lots of alphabets and larger stamps. I have started putting some of these on my for sale page, I hope to add more in the coming weeks. Just been so swamped lately to get that done.

I then have my more recent unmounted stamps from my more love companies in my clear boxes sorted by company.
This is the best system I have found. And easiest for me to use. You can read the details HERE on this post.

I spent some time going through these boxes last night. And found that there are some stamps that honestly I just don't see me using in the future and that makes me sad, so I figure that they need to start moving on to those that will use them. Some I may put on the for sale page, but I thought that this week I needed to show some love to a loyal reader....

Do you like these?
I have a brand new Greeting Farm - Never used
Three Sugar Nellies - barely used maybe once or twice?
Two Whiff of Joy - One used once, one brand new.

So there are 6 fun stamps - you think you might ink them up and use them? If so then leave me comment here. Next Wednesday I'll draw a winner and announce who the new owner will be. I'll ship world wide so no worries.

I really need to move at least 1/3 of my stamps to new homes so keep an eye... some will go for sale... some I just may pop in and do a quickie blog candy :0)

Hubby and I are running a few errands today, working around the property and keeping our attention on the news and praying for those effected by the wildfires here in Texas. I have had a few emails. We are safe here, no real danger near us at this time... but scary how many fires are just popping up anywhere anytime. My biggest fear in life is fire out here. Yes I worry about our home to a degree... but my bone chilling fear is the animals. It just isn't physically possible to load out 40-50 animals fast with one small animal trailer, and then where do you go with them? Gives me chills.... We will continue to pray for safety here and for all of those effected. Please say a quick one for them all... and that we will get some rain to give some relief for all of us.  I feel like a broken record...

Have a wonderful Wednesday. Hugs and

Dust It Off Sunday - Alota Rubber Stamps - Donkey

Happy Sunday - Today I have a stamp out of one of my all time favorite sets. From Alota Rubberstamps - this is from "Michelle's Sweet Little Donkeys" - yep... the wonderfully sweet Helene named them for my donkeys! There are actually two sets available... they are just too cute for words so pop over and see them for yourself. Everyone needs cute donkey stamps!

Now I have to fess up on the image. I was looking through some stuff I had "stashed" into a drawer a long time ago and found this image already colored. I then remembered this was one of my first images I colored after my accident. One of the first I was happy with for sure. There were lots that went into the trash that first few weeks I was coloring last summer. At that time even coloring wore me out, so I must have put it aside and that was it... MIA for the last year.

So when I found it this week I decided that I needed to make a special card with it. I pulled out the My Minds Eye Lost & Found Portobello Road paper stack. I think I used 6 or 7 sheets for this one, but it all just was going together so perfectly! I just kept stacking up and sewing layers together. Then I remembered some vintage gray satin ribbon in my stash - then added some mulberry roses, Martha Stewart Branch and Frond leaves - and a Oh My Word sentiment.
This card makes me happy. Is it that is was pretty easy to put together, or that adorable donkey stamp? Both probably :0)

I even did a simple inside on this one. I wanted lots of writing space... This card was going out to someone special and I needed some room to write. :0)
So it is already on its way to that special friend. I won't say who... we will just surprise her with it ok?

Take some time and make sure to pop over to Alota Rubber Stamps ok? Helene has some fabulous images -

Well off to breakfast with the locals... have a wonderful Sunday. I think Hubby and I are going to just do some chores around here, and watch the Yankee game. Other than that no big plans. Again - Have a great day :0)

Animal Crackers - GOATS, Going Going Gone - and Gabby running

Well we have some fun here today ;0) First we need to say good bye to 7 of the goats. Yes - 7 of them went to auction this week. It was sad, especially the black, blue and green marks on my legs from catching them. But I was a bit sad to see them go. Lucky, Denim, Fric, Frac, Bo, Hank and Cathy all went. We knew all the boys were going - they had too. But then after some thinking we decided that Cathy should go to. She is a insane goat. And all her babies are and would be just as nuts. So we would rather use our space for goats that are friendly and should have friendly babies. So Bye Bye Goats - we will miss you but the space is nice, it was way too crowded.
Ok... we did keep one boy. Other than our "Buck Stud" Frankie. Hubby really was having a hard time letting go of Louie. He was borderline to young, he could have gone... but I could see in Hubby's eyes that he was really gonna miss him. So we have promised each other that he will be cut this next week. He better!!!

Now lets talk about baby donkeys...
First I have to show you Sonia.... oh my this little one is so precious! And so little.
Now that she is a few days old, Mom is letting her have just a tiny bit of freedom. When you go in the pen, she takes off to meet up with you. Mom trotting right behind her.. saying wait don't you go anywhere with out me girlie! Just so cute!

Then we have RRRRamon - handsome guy!
He is super obnoxious friendly :0) I Love it! But he does love his Mommy Jazz  -

Now for some wonderful news! Gabby is much much better and her and her Mom have been released into their big pen with all their friends. I thank you all for the prayers - they really helped!
Here Diego was reminding himself who she was... he just loves all of Lacey's babies. We call him Uncle Diego, he is a good babysitter for her. And protects the babies from everyone!
Thought you would love to see this one.... how is that for an action shot!! She was so happy to be able to run!!! FREEDOM!!!!!

Oh wait.. how about some action for you? :0)  Now it skips in a few places for some reason, why I can't figure out, but I think you will still enjoy it! This is just after we released Gabby and Lacey back into the pen -Everyone got really excited that they were back!

Don't think badly for all the weeds... it is just too dangerous to mow right now, too dry!

And now for the inside children -
Love this shot I got of Libbie... she wouldn't look at me for nothing. I think it was because Jeter was batting on the Yankee Game... Yes Libbie, I pay close attention then too!! :0)
Then Autie was being his sweet self. He love to just sit at your side and wait for loving -
And of course Miss Chica - just as adorable as her Daddy -
Hope you enjoyed today - I had lots of fun putting this week together!
Have a great Saturday and I'll see you tomorrow for Dust it Off!

Happy Friday - Today for the Just Magnolia and Hanglar challenge it is our Monthly Special Challenge anything Goes with an option. This weeks option is Circles. I hope polka dots count as circles ;0)

This weeks card was fun for me. I didn't really think at all. I had a new paper stack I got on sale this week at Micheals. Hubby took me in really.... he needed a frame, so I had to go and see what was new right? LOL

The stack is called French Country Collection, by DCWV. LOVE LOVE LOVE this stack!!! They only had it as 12x12... I think I need it as a 6x6 too :0) I colored up on of my shared Hanglars that had "circles" on it. Then picked a couple of card stock colors, white and light green to match the two pieces of printed paper I had picked. Layered everything up and attached it all together after rounding all the corners and inking all the edges with Old Paper Distress Ink. I then found a piece of wide ribbon that went pretty well, and it had dots too!

I then found some matching roses, punched out some MS branch and leaves... and all done in about 30 minutes. Well not counting coloring time, that took me a bit more time. Then I figured that it needed some sparkle - so I sprayed the card with shimmerz Sparkle... Really just the perfect sparkle to this card.

Hope you enjoyed it. Now make sure to go and visit the Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge... seriously trust me you are gonna want to see this weeks projects!!

Me... gotta run long list of things to get done today for work. Have a great Friday, see you tomorrow for Animal Crackers :0)
