Animal Crackers - TRIPETS x2 !

Howdy -

Very busy weekend here! Chloe has her babies on Saturday afternoon... almost to the minute a week after Annie had Abigail last week! Chloe has triplets that are always bold coloring.  The main reason we keep Chloe. She is a skittish pain.. but man does she produce awesome babies!

Chloe's babies are stunning for sure! Lots of great coloring and two of three have her blue eyes! We named them Wyatt - Doc and Josephine. I am calling her "Josie" -  We know the boys have to go... But have been talking about maybe keeping Doc as a future breeder, black and white with blue eyes... Time will have to see -

But Josie... More than likely she will stay - Gorgeous coloring white - greyish brown buck skin - red - black and fabulous blue eyes!

Then Daisy decided Sunday about noon that it was her turn! Another set of Triplets!! Again two  boys and a girl...... We named them "Jack, Will and Elizabeth"

Now these have really gorgeous coloring! Very different and beautiful. The boys are both black grey and white. Really a handsome grey in them... one with blue eyes! Then Elizabeth "Lizzy" she is fabulous!!!! Red and White with touches of black! And AGAIN BLUE EYES!!

Here is the Trio this morning taking a little nap while Mom tries to get breakfast....

Daisy is VERY protective over her kids. Chloe wanders off from hers to eat and such and does't worry too much but does keep an eye their direction. Daisy... she is having a difficult time getting very far as she just is so worried that something will happen to them. She is so protective that last night when I picked up Lizzy at one point she head butted me in the knee for taking her daughter. I let her know that is not acceptable and she better be nice! She was a much better this morning with me.

All seven babies will be held and loved on whether Mom's like it or not!! Abigail is still on high speed chase but these new six are a little calmer and I am going to work hard to make sure they don't get skittish -

So we have lots of bouncing kids now! Still have a watch on Gracie and Alice to see if they are pregnant or not... they just don't look or act it at all - - - first time to be bred so they may not have taken. If not we will be trying again for sure! We put Crissy and Jill in with Frank on Saturday for Spring babies. And then Rhett and Scarlett in with Peso.  So should have their babies May - June.

Well gotta get chores done so I can "play" :0)

Just Magnolias and Hanglars - Holiday fun!

I would love a holiday!! Go off somewhere cooler maybe, sit and watch the ocean? The mountains? Heck a clean house! Don't matter somewhere to just sit and chill! But that isn't on the schedule anytime so I guess I'll have to just stay here and melt in the heat, and clean my own house :0) I am enjoying a little time out with the new baby, Gabrielle, dang she is a cutie! And I got some FANTASTIC photos for tomorrows Animal Crackers post! How is that for a teaser? :0)

But today is Just Magnolias and Hanglars Challenge and the theme today is Holiday fun. What holiday you ask? What ever holiday you would like! Me I went with more of a late summer holiday look. Wish I was Tilda here - she looks so peaceful and relaxed -
My image ended up being a bit larger than I had planned - by the time I used Tilda sitting on her post, and then added the Heart carved trees on each side. Yes the one on the left did get 99% cut off :0) I drew in some rolling hills. My colors were chosen in coloring with my Copics to match the new My Minds Eye Lost and Found Sunshine papers. I am so totally in love with these Lost and Found collection!!! You will be seeing them quite a lot as I got a few of the color collections on a really good sale! LOL I sewed down tow of the pattern papers with a cream color mat behind each of them and the image. A simple satin ribbon across the middle.

I added three mulberry roses, Martha Stewart frond and branch punches. Do you love that sentiment or what!!
This is one of the new sets from Papertrey Ink - you stamp out a pattern for the "ribbon" then die cut it out with the matching die. Then the sentiments have lots of "toppers" to match the shapes of the tag ribbons. You can see them all here at Papertrey Ink. Love these! And this sentiment was just perfect for my summery holiday card I think! I added three buttons to the bottom of the tag .
I colored Tilda with my Copics - then shaded with pencils. Love the rich look this gives. I then added Stickles to Tilda's wings and then to the mulberry flowers for just a bit more bling.

Hope you will now pop over to Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge and then join us on our Holiday Fun.

I think I am going to pop this card onto my cards for sale page -

Then I am going to get dressed, and head out. Have a couple of errands to run, then meeting up with buddy Tracey for our Toe Day :0) - So need it! Hope you have something fun planned for today!

HUGS and see you tomorrow for Animal Crackers and LOTS of Gabrielle!

Just Magnolias and Hanglars - A sketch this week!

Hello and Happy Friday! Today is Just Magnolias and Hanglars Challenge Day, and I got to play with some new Hanglars!!!!! I have gotten a few emails asking me where I get my Hanglars, and always before I have said, internet friends and once I was lucky on Ebay..... but hang on to your wallets ladies!!! Hanglars now ship Worldwide!!! Yep - they don't have everything, just some of their kits and a few mini kits - but hey they are Hanglars and they ship to us! :0)

So here is my card for this weeks sketch, wonderful sketch - and I had fun with my new Hanglar ( love saying that ) and then I also used some Webster Papers that seemed perfect for this pretty little girl. I inked the edges of everything with distressing inks after sewing everything. My scalloped matting is Spellbinders Lacey Circles, with lots of light blue adhesive rhinestones. And of course there are mulberry roses, with MS Leaves and branches punches. The sentiment is part of the Hanglar Kit -

For my image, I tried something new... I have been seeing lots of people using their Copics and then shading with black pencil. I love the look that they achieve with this... so I gave it a go. Ok... maybe I was a bit to heavy handed with my shading, but I think with some practice... I will work on it.

And don't be shocked here... but I did the inside too. :0)
Loved working with this sketch, it has lots of great possibilities. I hope you will join in and pop over to Just Magnolia's and Hanglars challenge and see the other DT cards and the great prize this week.

Think this one may go up on my for sale page ;0)

Me... it is Girls Friday, pedicure day and maybe lunch - so I am on the run!

Just Magnolias and Hanglars - Love this sketch!

Happy Friday! Today is Just Magnolias and Hanglars challenge day and the challenge this week? A sketch! Love that, as this week I needed the mental help to create my card. Too tired to think you could say :0)

I love this sketch this week, and I had fun with an older Hanglar from my swap stack of images.
For the card I started with the pattern papers from K&Company's Julianne's stack. Love the vintage feel of these papers - and the huge selection from the giant 6x6 stack! I inked the edges of all the pieces following the sketch provided.
Love this Hanglar images - She is just so proper don't you think? That hat... that must be it. I colored with my Copics - sewed everything down. The tag is from Making Memories, Mulberry Roses spritzed with Smooches and leaves and branches from Martha Stewart punches. My sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Make sure to pop over to Just Magnolias and Hanglars Challenge and see all the DT's creations this week. And join us for a chance at a great prize!

I am going to start loading cards into my For Sale Tab at the top of my blog - I do believe this might be the first -

Me today? Errands this morning, pedicure with buddy Tracey - and the maybe dinner out tonight? Lets see if I can talk Hubby into that - usually pretty easy if I say "Mexican food Sweetie?" A yes is out there before I can finish.

HUGS and see you tomorrow for Animal Crackers day!
