Howdy -
Before I get started today... no there are no babies yet. Sigh... I am so tired of looking at Mommas rear ends and check to see if their bags have filled yet. Donkeys are not showing any signs... But the goats... we are getting closer much closer on a couple. But I am not focusing on them because a watched pot never boils.
Now why does Autie look so sad?
Well Mom was mad at Gato... now no worries she didn't get any kind of punishment other than me yelling for a minute but when anyone raises their voice or gets in trouble Autie gets so upset and needs to have some cuddling and comforting. My poor little boy look how sad those big brown eyes are.... yes I made time to hug on him right then.
Now why did get Gato get in trouble? Well my perfect little kitty that never does anything wrong... well she has been pulling her claws on the chair of my elliptical bike. Now maybe that was her way of letting me know that the bike is just sitting there and not getting used at all. I know I know I am suppose to be on it each day, but well... bad knee/leg... working lots of hours... busy schedule... yeah I have worked up lots of excuses that really don't work. I need to get back on it daily I know... But that was no reason to claw my chair!
Guess I will get crafty with a cover for it so it doesn't look so bad now... and she better stay away from it now!
Since I was avoiding looking at any of the Mom's to be on my trip out to take photos I decided to have a chat with Peso....
You see Goats are pregnant 147-152 days. So if Peso can clue me in on which lady he went out on a date with first then I can maybe have a better clue who will go first. Is it just me or is he grinning at me like he is the ladies man?
Speaking of Ladies man... this guy is such a hottie.
No he hasn't had his chance to have a "date". But that doesn't stop him from showing off and flirting daily with the ladies. But he is still my little bottle orphan boy... he comes to the fence whenever I go out to get the top of his nose kissed and a little bit of rear end scratching. A hot Ladies man, but always a Momma's boy!
Vera was doing a bit of gossiping when I got out to the goats pen. She was talking then grabbing a mouth full of hay... chew chew chew... gab gab gab.
Wish I could speak goat because she thought what ever it was she was talking about was really interesting. LOL
Now I have been telling you all about Hubby's new wild bird pigeon friend Blanca recently. But have I told you about his other wild friend? Last fall we had some baby Vultures raised in the rafters of one of the old buildings on our property. Mom raised the two babies then after they were old enough to be on their own she took off. But the two "children" they have stuck around. Oh they fly off for a day or so but then they appear back to their "home"
Hubby has chats with them, they don't come in close but they sit up in an old snag and watch him work outside. So he chats with them..... he just loves all kinds of animals, birds, creatures of all kinds. LOL Love him.
Well I hope you got a smile again this week. I promise to report in as soon as we have our first arrival of any baby. Sigh...

Whimsy Stamps - Unicorn Framed
Howdy -
Whimsy Stamps today and a bit of a girlie card! This is the new Crissy Armstrong image Unicorn Framed. And I think Unicorns are just girlie right?
So that made me go with pastel colors pink, purple, green and yellows. I colored with the Copics, colors below. And then found a piece of Paper Studio paper for the backing, then the Whimsy Die set "Shaker Maker Card Set" Now yes, I know I didn't make a shaker card. I went for a mat with the die. The set comes with cute little flowers and a butterfly. I used them for the corner and added some Whimsy Enamel Dots for centers.
Then for the sentiment I pulled out my favorite word dies "Happy" and "Birthday" I love using word dies for sentiments and Whimsy has sets with lots of great choices to play with!
Copic colors used

High Hopes Stamps - Dragon Pals
Howdy -
Today for High Hopes Stamps I made a colorful cute card with the new Dragon Pals stamp. A fun image for a young birthday card don't you think?
I colored with my copics (colors below) and then I added lots of Ranger Stickles, I thought a dragon needed to have some sparkle to him too. For my sentiment I added the new "Imagine" stamp. Imagine... Dragon Pals! LOL I found an older piece of Fiskars glitter paper I used for my pattern paper, I sewed all the pieces down to a grey mat. Three enamel Dots for embellishment.

Animal Crackers - Sisters.....
Howdy -
Well I stayed up close to the house this week to snap some photographs. A bum leg just was barking too much to walk to far out. So close pens only to visit with my furry and feathered friends.
First up was watching the sisters... typical sisters, the best of friends and then a head butting fight, then right back again to nuzzling on each other. Mallory and Jennifer... Sisters
Found Lucy cleaning up some leftovers from breakfast. Now that big bump... that isn't a pregnant bump.
Lucy is just a bit on the heavy side... but that is ok.... I have the same issues Lucy!
Her 1/2 sister Rhett on the other hand.. we are waiting not so patient for her to have babies. She seems uncomfortable for sure. I am not to sure what she rolled around in as she was covered in something...
She still came to me for some lovin'. Even if she had something ewe on her. I just petted on her head and nose as they were clean, or cleanest area on her. She is such a sweet girl, and has given us some beautiful babies.
Speaking of one of her babies... Louise
She too is in our Momma pen. She isn't really that big which isn't that odd for a first time Mom. I just hope all things go smoothly and we get some of her gorgeousness passed down. And when/if she has her babies just think her Mom is right there with her in the pen and will be delivering Louise's siblings while watching over her grandkids... yeah it gets confusing sometimes in the goat pens, but I keep it all straight on paper... LOL
I then hobbled over to the chicken pen, just to say hi... I found one of the girls standing in the middle of the pen on one leg. I had to actually laugh out loud... as I was doing the same thing balancing on one leg.
I will say she is much better than I am at it. I actually wobbled a little when I held up the camera to snap a photograph. I have such horrible balance!
Sorry I didn't get out to the donkey pens this week. I saw them in the distance... and just decided no today would have to be goats and chickens... LOL

Whimsy Stamps- Espresso-ly Great
Howdy -
This week for Whimsy Stamps I played with one for the new fun Clear Sets by Krista Heij-Barber. "Espresso-ly Great" has so many fun projects that can be made with it! And perfect for those friends that live on their coffee fixes!
Aren't those little smiling cups cute? This is just a few of the stamps in this set - I lined up three of the cups and then used two of the sentiments - I colored with my Copics and then sewed down all the papers with straight and zig zag stitches. For some added dots of "coffee" I added a few enamel dots!
Copic colors used-
Fun set with lots of caffeine built in! LOL Now don't tell anyone... but I don't like Coffee..shh I know it is a horrible thing... just never liked the bitterness and I really don't enjoy hot drinks so it is one of those things I just live happily without. Its ok... Hubby drinks enough for both of us!
Now to get over to the set quick click the image of the stamps below and it will pop you over!
Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day -

High Hopes Stamps - Twinkle Fairy
Howdy -
Today for High Hopes Stamps I made sure to have lots of bling. The new Twinkle Fairy HAS to have lots of bling.. every fairy does!
She is colored with my copics (colors below) and then LOTS of Ranger Stickles for that bling. My paper is an older piece of Scribble Scrabble That I sewed down with a zig zag stitch. The sentiment is also new from High Hopes - "Leave Room in Your Garden for the fairies to dance"
Then I needed a little garden.. so I added some Martha Stewart leaves punches and Mulberry flowers.
I like how fun my card with all the bling came out. No matter what mood you are in a Fairy flying over with lots of bling can make you happy!
Copic colors used -
I hope you enjoyed too!

Animal Crackers - We have named her Blanca
Howdy -
And we have named her Blanca - So Hubby's new friend his white pigeon that has decided to stay for a while. Every day she arrives has her breakfast that Hubby has left out for her, and then she settles in to watch over the goats and donkeys under the eve.
Now first off yes we know she is wearing a band on her leg, and we are now of the mission of finding out where she is from. All though we hate to see her leave. She brings a smile to us daily and is so friendly. Oh and so beautiful.
We now have all our hopefully soon to be Momma goats in one pen, and now we wait.
I am not good at waiting... Sigh....
Went out and saw my three stooges my full size donkeys having a snack on some fresh green grass. And after the rains there is LOTS of grass growing for sure!
Valentine is such a sweet baby boy - Yes he is a full adult but he is a baby at heart. And we love him to pieces.
His Momma was right there with him grazing.
She is graying up a bit with her age, but no question she is still in charge of the trio. Large and in charge!
oh my boy Autie.... Now this is the face saying " No Mom I have no idea what you are talking about I was not the one that tore a hole in the trash... Not me at all..."
Now first of all if "Dad" had not placed the bag on the back porch it would not have happened. The temptation was just more than he could handle. How could I ever be upset with those big brown eyes? Never. Love my boy...
Hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend -
Hug a furry or feathered friend.

Whimsy Stamps - DoveArt Country Style
Howdy -
Wow what a week! My sad event was my printer dying. (insert sad pouty face here) I have had my printer for many many years and it has always been fabulous. But not for sure but possibly a power surge ended his old life... So out to find a new printer. I hate shopping for things like this! Found a newer version of my old printer thinking it would have a sentimental connection with me and could just get back to life normally. Well... it wasn't quite that easy, but it is up and running and other than being more technical and having more functions than my first computer way back I think we are going to get along just fine and get back to life.... Now that business is up and running again I could sit and do some stamping and crafting! I needed it too. So me time - Hallmark Channel and my Craft Goodies! Yes!
I was dying to color up the the Whimsy Stamps new DoveArt Country Style - I mean common I am in TEXAS!
Now we don't have too many saddles around the farm for the donkeys but it still is such a country texas feel that I just love this image from DoveArt - I colored with my copics (colors below) and then sewed down to a dark brown card stock with a zig zag stitch. My paper is a and older piece of Creative Imaginations - LOVE that barbed wire pattern in there with this image! I decided this image needed to stand up and be seen so I created an easel card with dark brown card stock. I die cut out the Whimsy Doodled Doily Die a total favorite of mine! And FYI... it is on sale right now!! So click over and add it to a cart fast before they are all gone! I cut up the doily and placed them on the corners.

High Hopes Stamps - Wizarding Gnomes
Howdy -
Another little bit of Magic from High Hopes Stamps new release - This one this week is "Wizarding Gnome" he is so cute!
He is cute right? I colored with my Copics (colors below) I then found an old piece of pattern paper from Scribble Scrabble that I sewed down to a cream colored card stock mat. I added some Ranger Stickles to the crystal ball, the stars and then decided that the paper needed some "magic" too and added lots of stickles to the circles of the pattern paper. My sentiment is also new from High Hopes "Make a Wish".
Fun card for a birthday don't you think?

Animal Crackers - You know I am good looking!
Howdy -
Speck our newest chicken that was injured is all better. She now runs across the pen to greet us and get to snack on that grass outside her coop. Her and her "coop-mate" Itsy are BFF's and getting along perfectly. And most important... this girl KNOWS she is good looking!
Common you know she is good looking! LOL
Macie was calling out to let me know that she is gorgeous too!
I can't tell a fib here. She actually was calling out that she wanted back into the special pen with Darlene and have more of that Senior Equine food... mmm it is rich and has lots of goodies in it! But Macie is a bit "bigger boned" and really doesn't need all those extra calories too often. So she had to be told no and wander back to the hay and grass pasture. I completely understand life Macie... I am right there with you girl!
Paintbrush was really relaxed here... awake, but almost at that point of not -
Love this old lady and she has been doing so well the past few months. We had that scare last fall with her getting so sick, but she bounced back and is doing great!
Spartacus was out enjoying the morning - such a handsome young man. And a happy young man!
He should have been sold but his personality was so fun we just never "advertised" him. I guess technically he has always been for sale and if someone wanted him we would have... but we just didn't push the issue with him. LOL
His half brother Wyatt is sort of the same situation..
He has been on our list and I really would love to have sold him, but he hasn't - so he makes a good buddy for Spartacus. He isn't quite as friendly but will eventually come to you for those nose scratches. And from the looks of this photo he needed to come over to get some of that nasty winter fur off of the ends of his horns. Shedding is going on and I suppose it itches.. so those horns come in handy!
I think Chica is tired of waiting on me to come back in... she was napping on the back porch while waiting.
Such a pretty face!
I hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend and that you got a smile this week!
